I tore through this place like a rabid animal, frustrated(survival mode) and ready to finally get revenge on this lunatic sending all these flippin robots my way. Oh I had the meanest power armor and the biggest sledgehammer I could craft. Mf'er stepped out that room and I cocked that som' bitch back......and then the mask came off...and I couldn't do it...
I skipped all that and went straight to ant-agonizing her (pun intended.) I literally blew her head off with a shotgun. I did this purely because of those stupid radio messages she had blasting in the general atomics warehouse.
The mechanist was and still is easily my favorite character in all of Fallout, his voice actor put so much dedication and love in his characters voicelines, and I have to respect that, which is why I even attempted to reason with her at the end of her questline.
i think just to survive this fight i ended up using roughly 40 jet and 30 stimpaks while wearing x-01 power armour (survival mode before they made it like it was in fallout nv)
Currently on this boss fight, I over estimated this final fight. I need to get my power armour and the overseer’s guardian. I have a explosive combat rifle and a shotgun that does 50 per cent more damage to robots. This fight is hard.
Definitely the hardest boss fight in the game for me. I had run out of ALL my ammo and was using a damn Pipe pistol and crying in the corner from the swarm of robots. Thank god for drugs or else I would have died. I also didn’t kill her in the end, since she didn’t know what the robots were doing and genuinely thought she was helping people. She can live with the guilt for the rest of her life.
Yeah it only took me dying 7x to realize I wanted to do the alternate way. I’d found all the holotapes but I wanted to do the boss fight. I got so annoyed that I just did the alternate way.
***** Ahh, I played on survival and it was absolutely brutal. Had a lot of enemies with a skull next to them and took several nukes to take out. Was really surprised when you killed one with ease.
I am horribly stuck, and rage quit, didn't even get to the last fight cuz of the glitches. I know bethesda games are coded on a wet sock but this DLC just takes the cake, looking up these videos makes me realise it isn't just me who is getting infuriated. I just wanna roleplay as the silver shroud damnit. Edit: When I am calmed down I will just noclip through the maglocks. At times like these I am happy I am a PC gamer, woe to any console players who play these games... is it gonna glitch even more? Maybe? But in all honesty is it gonna be noticeable? No.
I found a way to glitch the fight if you stand on top of the crates at the start of the stairs you can’t be hit by melee attacks and it makes it a lot easier to fight duel bot and the rest of them
Ridiculous. Glitched out. I Thought i was doing/not doing something right. Can't believe of all the free mods you can get, i paid for this not working dlc. So i reloaded an earlier save. Now my robot has disappeared.
My shit got stuck on when she stands there near "sparky". I can't do shit, and I accidentally saved when it was finished. I can't do shit. Only way I can fix it is having to restart the game,back to the vault.complete bullshit.
I got the same idea bringing a missile launcher, I was sure to kill the mechanist but then she took off the mask and I coudn't live with the guilt I guess, gonna go kill some rogue bots now

+AFGuidesHD if you have a certain perk a high enough level, you can actually change the alien blaster to fire fusion cells instead of AB rounds in the weapon workshop.
+AFGuidesHD wow... you are terrible at this game. Firstly... fav your stimpacks and weapons. Secondly... missile launchers, vs robots... at zero range... With a companion near by? Truly awful strategy. Robots are armoured so resist explosive damage, you probably did worse damage to your self and Curie. You need high caliber or energy weapons.
I have zero hope for Starfield.. I just bought this game with all the DLC thinking surely by now all the bad bugs are fixed. NOPE, nearly every single DLC quest is bugged to the point of having to cheat or break/unbreak the game to finish them. This BS was the last straw for me.. Every freaking quest I'm having trouble completing.. having to reload constantly to try again. Never again Bethesda, GFY! 8 YEARS LATER AND IT"S STILL A PILE OF SHIT!!!!
It fucked up on me. Made it all the way to where he is in this video. Only difference when I killed all waves of robots the mech still was fighting me. so had to reload a save from 3 hours back grrrrr

I had the same issue. Turns out a bot was stuck under the floor (lift wouldnt raise). Had to tgm through the floor to kill it.

I didn’t have any lag problems that I noticed. Or quest glitches, that stinks because I really liked this DLC and building robots is really fun.

Don't shoot the robots being carried they get stuck under the floor or in the walls
