I just replaced my Dragonfly Red with a Questyle M15. It's a neat little portable dongle DAC/amp paired with my Timeless IEMs on my phone through USB Audio Player PRO (...just discovered "bit perfect" through someone recommending that app too because I thought my Timeless sounded weak through Android's Foobar app. Now I know why!). Anyway, at first I thought the M15's amp must be slightly better because it gets louder than the Red before I hear distortion, but there's one problem... Since I don't have a desktop dac or amp yet I tried to use it on my PC via USB with Edition XS (as I did with the Dragonfly before and that worked just fine - well... good enough. It could've used more bass, but there was still a little with the Red) but the Edition XS have almost no bass I can hear through the M15 (high or low gain). I think the amp in the M15 can drive the Timeless' bass notes easier but just can't push the Edition XS. Is that it? I want to try to still use the M15 so I've decided to try to use it as a DAC-only, outputting to the back of an Archel 3 Pro I'm saving for now. Is this a viable solution to get back the bass missing from my Edition XS or should I just bite the bullet and get a J2 as well, for home listening?
I did as well 4x2590s and the 2 vivids the the Burson Soloist 3xGT - and in my two Apaches I use the same ss2590s - they are the best OPA drop in you can get - inho

AAA789 isn't "neutral" it has pretty poor gain tracking and it tends to boost lower parts of the signal making it sound bright, Rebel is much closer to neutral although rebel is slightly leaning to the warm.
Abyss labels the headphones under the pad. You have the Abyss Diana TC, which i think technically is the "Abyss Diana Phi TC." If you want the correct bass out of them you need the bass ported pads from abyss instead of the dekoni.
I kicked in for 2 V3's. One for my LS50 Meta's and the other for Speaker level inputs to my SVS SB-1000 pro. I've been running the A07 pro with all 5 op-amps replaced with the Sparkos SS3602's... I have one extra and 2 Burson V6 vivids... Not sure if I'll gut the A07 pro for the SS3602's to install into the V3... But there is a good chance I will. Won't be long now on the V3vs though! Totally stoked!
You should try a Sparkos SS3602 in your Aune magic DAC and hook it up to the Archel 3 Pro. Sparkos inception. I put one in my magic dac and it sounds great, but it now it needs stilts.

Not a comment relevant to this post. You probably have this lying around your hose somewhere but the Fiio Ft3s are amazing. From the packaging to the accessories and build and then the sound..Fiio did something special with a first headphone.
Unfortunately I can't get Gescheli's in India. They are a very likeable couple. I wrote to them and they responded. But unfortunately they are a small company and doesn't have the people and sufficient margins for sale through dealers in Asia. I am done with Chinese stuff. They are cheap for the features but don't last as much.

Agree with you 100 precent on describing hifi. Tell the difference every time in 1 second, but actually describe it, lik wtf how where to even start. Our language has to advance a bit , like Millenium perhaps we'll be able to, but it ight now, no way. Listen to it youl here it, if not sorry.
I really hope that when Geshelli Labs is doing their marketing for this amp they take professional pictures of it tilted the way it was at 16:42 why? Idk but MAN something about it looks absolutely STUNNING! Truly an achievement in American design and engineering.
The unit's appearance is quite unappealing considering its price. The wooden case, with its dimensions, simply doesn't work for me. At $200-$300, it might be considered a nice novelty, but when it reaches $600, it needs to look like either HiFi/LowFi or just cool audio equipment, rather than a homemade garage project. This is just my opinion, but based on the price versus aesthetics, I'm giving it a hard pass for now. I'm sure it sounds fine, but it has to look the part as well.
I've always felt that... I bought all wenge... The super dark wood and the black plexi. Just to take that vibe down a notch. I might even back the front faceplate with something by way of black paint...
The case material(s) and plexiglass are customized per unit. You may simply dislike the combination of zebrawood and neon yellow plexiglass. It's also available with an aluminum case.

Those Sparkos 2590 op-amps are superb. I dropped a pair in my Burson GT and it was an excellent upgrade.

I put the dual pro SS2590 in my AUNE X8 XVIII DAC and... Yup! Absolutely the best. Now I'll have them in my HPA/PRE as well.

Is this better than the Schiit Jotunheim 2 I am considering the two at the moment. Also not sure if the SE only on the Archel should be a concern.

Just a longevity thing, Machine boards are more consistent. And this one is missing things that weren't added yet like the Muting circuit.
