I want this amp, but wish it had a single-ended out along with its XLR. I spoke with Geshelli, they said it was in the works, but supply issues will delay it until mid 2022.
Saw this on Geshelli’s site Thursday. Just in time review. I want to buy USA and love the wood. Pair this with the Drop Aeon Open X for my work office. Any concern with amp heat in wood box instead of aluminum?
@@kristinenguyen9573 I know, it said there was quite the wait time when I added it to cart a couple times to check to total price. I got the girlfriend to help me pick out the wood finish on the Gishelli earlier
Hey Z, sorry for commenting on an old post, but would this amp have the right amount of juice for the t50rp Argon's? If not I'd appreciate a recommendation.. Cheers dude! Been watching ya content for years 👍🎧
So does anything prevent me from using this as a Preamp (read volume control knob) behind a Jnog 2 DAC, with the Erish 2 feeding a power amp's XLR inputs?
Zeos, what's a quality pair of closed-backs? I have a SHP 9500 and personally enjoy their sound signature. So, not too much base, rather mid-forward and, if possible (but not necessary) some resolving highs. What I want from a closed back is decent sound isolation as well, and I'm thinking around $200, but I'd be willing to save up to go higher if it's worth it. Just a link to one of your reviews of what you recommend in response is fine, thanks (or anybody else who also wants to rec). The AKG k553's are up there, probably...
The original SV006 is a bit dark but that lights up with the Shure pads. The 2020 or 2021 revision of the 006 is a bit brighter with Shure Pads that could maybe be your thing. But honestly the 9500ish sound in an closed back is not easy. It's way easier to get something much more spectacular resp. punchier lowend in a closed back than something remotely reminiscent of the 9500 sound.
if you want to hear a revelatory mix of sgt pepper, try the 50th-anniversary mix by Giles Martin (son of George Martin). the instruments are now more dynamic and alive. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vienna ...hifitommy
14:40 are you sure that's safe? Burson manual explicitly states to plug in the headphones before turning on the unit, not after. What does DC offset do to headphones?
It was measured once by one man and showed the DC offset was SUPER high the first minute. Only at reasonable levels after 5. I never noticed anything and also I can't really explain the DC offset but I know too much is bad news.

Right, so why does everyone look for an electrical solution for an XLR plug insert when a mechanical one should work just fine? It should be easy to turn on and off the speakers based on headphone input using a simple mechanical switch.
@@rogerhuston8287 Okay, you do understand that suddenly you're building your own connector in small number instead of taking a mass produced part from the shelf? It would be much simpler and cheaper to put a switch in the front to turn off rear outputs...
@@miagi1337 - No, that is not what I'm saying, but thank you for adding that to the conversation and then objecting to it. Lot's of fun to argue with yourself. So maybe there is something in between where you can take an existing part and modify it slightly to detect a manual insert. It could be a physical switch, or perhaps you are breaking a light beam like your garage. I'm just saying there could be a mechanical solution vs an electrical solution tied to the insertion of the pins.

The joints are Dove Tail. They are trapezoid shaped, not square. Once joined, they hold together tightly.
Look for dove tail or box joints in cabinets and furniture as well, usually means the product is well made.
These are gorgeous! Perfect desk unit.
USA dilemma: "Is Vienna in Italy or France."
They make sausages there.
Both wrong, it's in Australia. :o
I heard that and was like
Bruh. neither.

I have the original JNOG and a THX 789, this makes me want the E2 to pair with my J1. Love Geshelli, they're great people.
Now that you have a monster basement, you should pick up wood working with an emphasis on speaker cabinet building
Wow I love the dove tail cut, very nice . Tempted to replace my THX789 just for the wood look.
Love the wood cases

None at all. Plenty of space for heat dissipation. We've been testing for many months and no problems ☺️

Got mine in Bloodwood to somewhat match the Argon T60s. I even tried HE6SE V2 on these and it sounded great!
Wouldn't the mahogany match the best with the argon t60s? Also mind sharing what u thinking of it now a year later?
Vienna the city of Mozart, a little musician you may have heard about once, is neither in France nor Italy but Austria...
I'm surprised that half a second of Beatles that you could hear didn't get the video taken down.
Torn between picking up magnius modius combo or the topping 50 pro stack and now we have dove tails in the mix… SHEEEEESH
Well the modius is not in stock for few months so you can cross that off. So now you’re down to 2 options for a stack. Helps a little bit right

Zeos, want a solution for detecting XLR headphones? How does a refrigerator detect when to turn on its light when the door opens?
Usually Hall Effect sensor and a magnet in the door.
Most refrigerators I saw, simply have a button that is pressed when the door is closed.
