Great instruction and content! Thanks for making this video in an easy to follow format for those that are new to passing chords, as well as variations and concepts for more experienced players as well! This is exactly the type of lesson I’ve been looking for, thank you!
I’m new to your videos I really enjoyed this one lots of good information nicely paced . I did find the keyboard voicing you used a little hard to hear but good video I look forward to seeing your others 😎
Dude, I rarely ever like videos, or leave comments. Honestly, I know you're a small channel, but I've been looking for someone to explain secondary dominance to me for the past year or so, and between TikTok and Google, I've had no help until this video. I appreciate it a lot and if you keep producing quality, helpful, and SIMPLY EXPLAINED content your future is bright.
I have subscribed! For my brother? This is an AWESOME video! Thank you soooooo much for this breakdown! I've been struggling for the longest with trying to figure out just how to "fill up" those empty spaces between my chords; and this helps tremendously! You've made this soooo easy to understand and implement! We need more content like this! Wish I could subscribe a 1000 times!
Hey man! Thanks for watching. Sorry I won't break this down in specific keys because then I would have to do every that someone asks. If you understand the concept then its simple to apply to any key. In F# your 2 chord is Ab/G# minor, the 2nd dominant is Eb. The substitution is Eb7/G. Run through this process with all the chords and you will be good! I would recommend you taking the time to understand and implement it yourself rather than depending on me or other channels to teach you. The more dependent you become on us, the more it will hurt your growth!
