How To Buy And Assign An Custom Reg Plate

- Hello guys in this video i will be going through the entire process of buying a custom registration plate off the DVLA, assigning the plate through the GOV website and also how to get the plates printed.
This is the recommended order:
1. Buy Custom Reg Off DVLA
2. Print And Install New Reg
3. Assign New Reg
4. Tell Insurance

I got the 3d gel plates n came with sticky pads so strong weren't 3m but were velcro they were awesome easy, to put on

You do know the prefix plates or for cars made on or after 1989, so you would be fine, for example J20UMP, doesnt need to go on a 2020 car

You can have a higher number that your cars year as long as it isn’t in the traditional format, my car is a 2010 but plate is A15

are the 4d plates being made illegal this year?
Around september but certain things wont be i think i might get away with mine as i dont have any colour on mine and its got normal spacing and no tint on it. We will see in september what happens. It says on dvla rules characters must be black and 3d lettering will be allowed so im guessing i will be fine as i have no colour on mine
How do I make my own plate and make it legal?
dvlaregistrations.dvla.gov.uk/
Go to this website, search what plate you want, buy it, make an account and then in post you will recieve the proof ownership of that plate. Then all you gotta do is go on gov website change your old plate to the new one using the code on your letter that comes in post

@@shinviews4717 you can't put it on a road car. Only can make random plates to use on private land and at car shows. To do that you would just go to any number plate company and ask them to make for you car show plates
My number plate got cloned and i want to change my number plate anyone can advise please. I spoke to dvla and they told me to write few lines with the reg and ref from the police and send v5 and letter and they would send me a new logbook i have to pay to get my registration done is this right? @@harooni1101 yeah sometimes dvla are nice and used to change the plate for free to a random license plate number for you, but they wont let you choose, but i guess goverment want their money so they don't do it anymore

I didnt know amazon sold any plates. But if they do then you can buy it they will have to send you transfer papers or you will need to make dvla account and they can transfer the plate online to you. Also are you sure you can buy on amazon or are you just looking at number plate printing service
