Hey Michael, when using binance did you deposit the amount and withdraw the same day? I’m trying to do it but it says after I deposit i have to wait 10 days before I can withdraw.
@@frankythomas1032 sorry, I've held a Binance account for about 1 year so don't have any withdrawal restrictions.
If you have a time based withdrawal restriction upon new account creation, then once the time period has lapsed you'll be okay.
Delivery of these units is 8 - 12 weeks... 10 days won't make much of a difference

thanks for the video, i mistakingly typed in the wrong amount when i was purchasing bobcat, after a very long night, after that they emailed me back that my order was canceled because i underpaid, so they wanted me to fill a form tp give them all the details of the transaction to issue a refund, which i did fully and they issued a refund minus processing fee, but the refund didn't come yet, its been 2 days, i emaild them back to find out how long it will take for the refund to be in mt wallet, so i can reorder it again, but no answer yet. did you come across such situation?

It's the equivalent of a 5v light bulb, super cheap.
Binance increased the transaction fee to $23 for ERC20 so I added $23 instead of $20 as mentioned in the video.
Yes, just adjust the fee accordingly.
Great video! About to get two myself. Question with its operation that you may/may now know - from what I've gathered from informational videos, the more hotspots near you, the more you make. Is there a recommended distance in terms of area around my potential hotspot where I should look for others? Not too sure how close/far away other hotspots need to be for use. For reference, I'm located in Holmdel, New Jersey, USA :)
The more 'witnesses' around you, the more you mine HNT, but doesn't mean you put a whole bunch of hotspots in one place.
Ideally, you want to separate them with around 300-350m distance. If you do have any hotspots around you, let's say they are 1-2km out, it shouldn't be a problem. (If you study the helium map, there're some people are getting connection with 10-20km distance, it's all about the location of the hotspot)
Lastly, remember we have like 150k-200k hotspots coming by end of summer. So even though you don't see any hotspots near you atm doesn't mean there won't be any in the near future. Hope this helps.
@@tariosultan fantastic. Thank you for the information! Let’s say hypothetically there are NO hot spots around me for 10-20 km. Do we have any price predictions of mined Helium per day with no hotspots around? Of course there’s no way to know for sure, but I always see videos with “$5-$100 PER DAY” in the title, but usually only talk about that performance with other hot spots around.
If you are alone in your area, then you won't mine much HNT. As there's no witness around you. You only earn tokens based on "proof of coverage" which is only 5.31% of the mining reward.
What I recommend is to order 2-3 miners, and set them apart in your region. (hopefully you have friends and family live around you)
You'll be surprised when you introduce the 2nd miner and see your earnings dramatically increase.

Yup. Get these two setup. And observe the earning. Alternatively play around with antenna in the future.
Isn't dodgy when a company only allowed payment via cryto? Why not paypal, bank tranfer?

You can use any wallet of your choice. As long as it supports USDT and you’re able to withdraw or send tokens to other address
what happens if you cancel the transaction in muggle pay and buy it the day after?
You only have 1 hour window to make the payment, otherwise the order won't count or gets cancelled. If you do it the next day, make sure you start over again.
So I scanned that barcode in the middle there :/ not to sure if I sent the money to the wrong thing, but did anyone scan the barcode?
After scanning, you always want to double check with the first few digits and last few digits of receiver's address.

Question for you, when using USDC and you get to the page with the QR code. You said about adding additional money for GAS. I'm in the states , never bought anything with crypto, I have watched more than a dozen videos on how to purchase the Bobcat with USDC. I watched a few of them with USDT and you have to add $1 more. Is it the same for making a purchase with USDC? Because even at the top of your screen it shows how much to send. I plan to purchase with coinbase, and I know to make sure that the total amount that they receive matches what is shown in that screen with a QR code. But do you still have to add $1 more for the transaction fee?
When you send with USDC, after choosing the network, it will show you how much the network/transaction fee is. You want to add that amount so the receiver gets the exact amount on your shopping cart.
For example. let's say USDC has transaction fee of $2 (this is just an example), and your total comes to $1018.08, the actual amount you're sending is $1018.08+$2 = $1020.08.
So after the transaction fee, the receiver will get exactly $1020.08-$2= $1018.08. (no more no less)

Feel free to try some other exchange such as coinbase or gemini. You need to get USDT in order to pay for bobcat.

Any platform will do. As long as it supports USDT and you’re able to withdraw/send tokens to other address
Can you have more than one in a residence or would they have to be spread out out over different residents?
Spread them apart with min 300-350m distance. This way you get the max reward.
If you put two miner together, instead of earning full reward, you only get half each. It's not maximizing your miners' earning potential.

Not 100% sure. Maybe not because on the checkout page, I see they’ve charged tax based on location.

I sent payment using USDT and never got a confirmation. I had to go back and do a new order using USDC. Does that mean I lost my first $1000 sent using USDT?

I'm playing the waiting game now for my USDT to be transferable. bought it through binance us, and I have to wait 10 days before I can withdraw. What a headache Binance us is. Had already hit purchase on Bobcat site and 1hour clock started. Hope it's still available by then. And hope its all worth it. As I'd be getting it just before the Halving.

I’ve never tried under paying. But as you can see in this video I paid like 1 dollar extra. It still went through (but definitely not recommended).

Binance are taking a long time to verify my identity. Been nearly 4 hours. Binance say it can take 1 hour or until 30th May. Are the back orders for miners causing the delay?
If you order bobcat after May 1, shipping time is between 12-20 weeks.

I don't have control over binance verification process time. Alternatively, try some other exchange.
you can either:
1. get BNB token from the exchange
or..
2. convert your current crypto asset to BNB on an exchange then withdraw to metamask BNB wallet.

It's mentioned in the the video, you want to add an extra $1 to cover the transaction fee so the receiver gets the exact amount.

I do not see an option to use USDT and I am unable to convert USDT to USDC in Binance. Having trouble getting any help response from Binance...Any suggestions?
What was issue with converting USDT to USDC?
@@tariosultan I don't have a 'Convert' option in Binance. I tried to 'Deposit' USDT to USDC and they just charged me a transaction fee and the balance remained USDT, less the fee. Very frustrating.
What you want to do is go to ‘Trade’ option in the top menu on Binance, then choose first option called ‘Convert’ then From USDT to USDC, then click on Precious Conversation and confirm.

my Binance doesn't even have a TRC20 network option :(
Then go with regular ERC20, just need to pay a little bit extra.
Mugglepay has 2 networks: TRC20 and ERC20. One has lower fee than the other. Not sure about paying ERC20 and get it lost.
