It's designed to be a CCW pistol not a military pistol so I wouldn't fail it as a CCW because it had difficulty in one or more of the tests. I think the best test for a CCW/pocket gun is pocket lint. When we carry IWB, OWB under a garment, or in the pocket we can get lint inside the holster and gun. This can affect reliability so a good test for a CCW gun.

@@frankbrowning328 I plan to do a revisit of this pistol, I have been carrying it 80/90% of the time in this warm weather, pocket carry and IWB. My next video featuring this firearm will be without cleaning it, lots of lint and fuzzy stuff has been collecting all over the firearm, I highly highly doubt this will affect the firearm in the slightest though. Its in my top 5 carry guns after a few short months for sure.

You compare it to the inrangetv mud test this did good by the standards of a large duty pistol. I really don't consider the LCP Max to be a backup pistol, just a wonderfully small super light state-of-the-art 13 shooter.

Had the same thought until I was out running on the beach during a rainy day. When I arrived home I noticed my gun and holster were coated in damp sand.
The test here IS extreme, but if you're going to carry this gun and happened to slip in mud or find sand in your pocket with your gun then find yourself having to use it shortly after, you'll still have confidence in it. Confidence is the point of this very extreme test.

Good video, that would be hard to do to my personal gun, but if the manufacturer just gave me one for that purpose, it wouldn't hurt at all. That mud caused it problems, that continued through the rest of your tests. I'd have soaked that gun in CLP for a week after that. These Rugers are good little guns.

All firearms - Ammo and products featured on my channel are purchased by me. I started this channel for my own interest in firearms, loved watching other videos and never saw one with the LCP MAX, so I made my own. I dismantled the firearm completely, washed and dried everything. Used solvent to clean it entirely then lubricated and tested the firearm. About a week later did another simple cleaning on it to make sure I got everything. I'd say this process is necessary as solvents won't break down the small particles that get into tiny areas of the firearm.

@@tudortactical532 Good little gun's, not the most accurate, but accurate enough. I actually bought two, because when my wife saw mine, she wanted one. They are easy to carry, but not super fun to shoot. We are both pretty much done after shooting about 58 rounds through these. If you relax your grip ever so slightly, you'll quickly know when firing. Accuracy wasn't the greatest, windage is easy enough to fix, but both shoot low. At 10yds I put the front sight over the target to compensate, and have added lasers to take out the guess work. These little gun's are pretty simple, and easy to completely disassemble, so that's a plus. The slides are prone to rust if not kept lubed well. Anyway, good video, and I'd still have a hard time testing mine like you did your's.

With a tiny gun like this one, or any gun, keep your finger out of the trigger guard and off the trigger until you are ready to shoot. This is good basic gun safety.

The only torture test that should ever be done is with round count. Been carry for 40+ years and have never dropped by accident or on purpose my gun is any of the shit these guys do. WTF is that all about and why do people think this shit relevant. IT"S NOT.

It isn't lol Its simply for entertainment. But many people drop their pistols, I've seen it at the range multiple times.

Looks like someone watched Mack from the Military Arms Channel before. How original.

What have you done that's truly original?

Of course deflect, change the topic and ignore the original item at hand. Perfect.

As if MAC was the first to ever do this type of test... As if MAC is so special. Didn't you notice MAC isn't coordinated enough to operate a simple G44... He's a wannabe operator.

I'm pretty sure MAC wasn't the first with that test but he is the most popular. Regardless he hasn't done the LCP Max and might not ever do it so it's still very much appreciated.

I have quite a few calibers but 380 is great, esp for low recoil or small options.
