- Taco Bell is huge in the United States. It has been ranked as one of the top five fast-food chains in the country, based on sales. Despite the brand's popularity, Taco Bell has been dealing with upheaval in its C-suite.
With more than 6,500 locations across the country, Taco Bell is one of the top fast-food chains in the U.S. It is not necessarily known for its quality, but a recent Harris Poll anointed it "America's favorite Mexican restaurant."
Much of Taco Bell's recent innovation was initiated under the watch of former CEO, Brian Niccol. But in 2018, Niccol left the chain to helm one of Taco Bell's biggest competitors - Chipotle. He has since moved Chipotle's headquarters into Taco Bell's backyard. Some say recent turnover in top management could mean trouble for Taco Bell in the years ahead.

Sometimes when my friends ask me what we should go eat, I suggest Taco Bell. They'll tell me, "You know it's not real Mexican food, right?" And I'll reply back, "I didn't say I wanted Mexican food. I said I wanted Taco Bell."

I can't count the times when I was paying +30 bucks at some restaurant, and thought "I'd rather just be eating a Nachos BellGrande than this".
It's not even remotely Mexican food, but it is tasty.
And it gives you diarrhea, lol. Those chemicals they add are what make it "tasty". Look for Food Wars to come out with a video demonstrating.

It's not in my country so when I took a trip to Singapore in 2002 and saw that there was a mall across the street from my hotel that had KFC/Pizza Hut/Taco Bell all grouped together in one shop, I decided to try it out. It was the tastiest most delectable fast food I ever ate in my entire life. Every bite was like my taste buds having a party. I spent a week in Singapore eating Taco Bell morning noon and night for every single meal each day until it was time to go home. No regrets.

Taco Bell in my area has great customer service and the food is always yummy and hot and cheap. I can get a quesadilla, burrito and drink for $10 whereas chipotle is $10 for one burrito only. On top of that it’s open until 3am ❤️
As a Hispanic I laugh when they say “Mexican Restaurant” my father owns two Mexican restaurants and one fast food so I’d say it’s kinda insulting they refer to that brand as “Mexican food”

I was an assistant manager for taco bell. I worked there from 2006-2015! 😁
Used to go there when they had their XXL Grilled Stuffed Burrito. I loved it, it was really delicious in fact. But honestly, the majority don’t really care about food quality. It’s cheap, it’s filling, it’s quick to get, it’s addictive and incredibly unhealthy. And many couldn’t care less. And here’s the secret of why many fast food chains keep strong and thrive; ADDITIVES !!! And that added chemical is one of the main sources were we get our cravings from.

Because they've never tasted real Mexican Food. Some states (Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Oklahoma, Kansas, California) have much better Mexican food than others. New Hampshire, Ohio, and New Jersey are not known for their Authentic Mexican Food.

I like it cuz it's fun! They are unapologetically for sleepy night owls and college kids late at night when the glossy black streets are lit with electric lamps in the rain. It captures those feelings for me. The feeling that you're never alone at night cuz Taco Bell is open and you can buy a little taco and a Baja Blast and smoke a bowl before bed 😋

I lived 35 years in California. There you can get real mexican food. I still would eat Taco bell sometimes, especially on the road where you have little choices. Now back here in Europe I really really miss Mexican food and even would eat Taco Bell if it was offered. The best thing about it is there Taco hot sauce. Love that one. These days here I make my own salsa fresca, it is so easy. I make the oven roasted variety, just delicious.
As a Mexican living in the US, I like Taco Bell. I think it has its place and from time to time I get a craving. You are good as long as you don’t expect it to be related to Mexican food at all, totally different category . But I will take Taco Bell over Subway or McDonalds most of the time .

Nevermore they literally tell you it isn't 100 percent beef, those seasonings and spices are just that seasoning and spices. when its 88 percent beef spices don't count as meat man. do the math sometime on the amount of actual beef produced yearly then how much "beef" is consumed in fast food alone, they dont add up. fast food has to stretch their product. in 2011 there meat was only 35 percent beef and they got sued.

They have a good dollar menu. For instance, I'm at the only Mall in my city and most malls have your typical, Chinese, Thai, sushi, Japanese, Subway,burger place, pizza place, Starbucks, pretzel place, chicken place, etc. This mall actually does have both a chipotle and a taco bell (along with 2 auntee Anne's pretzels and 2 smoothie kings). The thing that sticks out to me is that taco Bell is the only one with a dollar menu.

I haven't eaten anything crazy good that's new from Taco Bell. I did enjoy the grilled cheese burrito and when they brought back the volcano menu. I love the volcano menu.

No lettuce, tomato, onion, no cheese, and they don't even put a condiment on the meat. They just hand you a slice of meat on bread and point to their sauce packets. Taco Bell's dollar menu does have a lot of bang for the buck.

I've been eating Taco bell 3-10 times a week for about 5 years now (some days I go more than once) and I've got to say I still love it just as much as ever, and it has never messed up my stomach. McDonald's greasy food on the other hand always made my digestive system freak out.
