Roger always had it. Very attractive and charming and such a gentleman. Thats the thing about Queen, they were all such gentlemen. Education shows.

I heard rogers sound check in nottingham playing rock roll then he came out and signed autographs then we had the concert electric fire i was carrying my son he kicked all the way through lol now hes just starting his own band :)

Even though freddie had died a long time ago, if brian may and roger taylor both die, then we will not have queen anymore. John Deacon might be still alive but who know when or if he would die. I feel he is immortal.

Idk what she’s talking about in regards to having the live sound like their albums, they literally wanted it different from the album
I am giving her the benefit of the doubt and guessing she is talking specifically about the BBC Sessions. Because if you listen to the session versions of Tenement Funster, My Fairy King, and some of those other early ones? There are times when I am halfway through them, and have to pick up my phone to see if it is the studio version or BBC session, because they sound almost exactly alike.

They might be prescription glasses still. That’s at least partly why he always wore them in the 70’s/80’s, he probably thought it looked cooler than normal glasses 😂
No idea if he’d still need them though (I think somebody mentioned him getting eye surgery a while back), so maybe it’s just because he’s gotten used to it now.

To contextualise: The purpose of this interview is partly to promote the release of the live sessions which includes/refers to all four members, hence "were" (difficult to say "are"); that doesn't necessarily mean Liz is denigrating Roger now (I can't speak for her, but I'm sure she still regards him as such).

Roger Taylor knows how to handle the drums with the right output which carries out his sound. I place Roger Taylor at #1 and Kiss drummer #2 Chris I believe is his name. There's Ace Frienly, Paul Stanley and the one I love with a voice kind of like Roger and Freddie and it's Gene Simmons, the 🦎 lizard. One Bad ass British and one bad ass American. Thanks Roger for sticking around. Your music is great. You know, I feel hurt and jealous when I know Queen were bigger in Asia. Why Asia ? No, no it's America, New York City and elsewhere.

Gotta research but don't believe Freddie was mentioned at all, Deaky neither. Roger offered -- when you put in a great bass player and someone who can really sing you've got the Queen sound. (Whew, she just said 'Freddie's voice'...me, tearfully glad. That's it tho. ) Hoping to find those Planet Rock 73-77 CD's.
