I'm 6'4 325lbs. I've never been a "runner" by any stretch of the imagination. After training KB for several months, my buddy asked me to go walking with him. During the walk he said we should start jogging a little to burn some extra calories. I said okay know that I cant run/jog. To my surprise, it was easy. KB really do help out in other ways.

Well...,being 67 and having been using kb's for almost 3 years straight, there's quite a few considerable advantages I've noticed: progressive endurance, strength gains, better posture, muscle size gains, no injuries and no gym fees. This video brings crucial attention to the principle of explosive muscular movements which is the main difference between dynamic weight training (kb's) and static weight lifting (free weights and machines) and confirms that Gregory is not afraid of revealing what other trainers hide. Thanks man

Absolutely agree on the benefits of kettlebells on explosive power but I would like to point out that Olympic Lifting using a barbell and "God forbid, free weights" also develops such power and at much higher weights (although admittedly from a pre tensed 'set' position). I can snatch a 24kg KB, I could maybe manage a 28kg KB for a single rep, but I can power snatch 40-45 kgs on a barbell and power clean 60+kgs. Not heavy weights compared to my younger friends at the gym but heavier than I could manage with KBs. Just saying KBs are not the only way to make explosive power gains.

Olympic exercises such as Clean, Snatch & Jerk with barbells are the king of explosive power. You probably misunderstood my point about free weights; I wasn't talking about them in a derogatory way. Thanks for sharing anyways Paul! - Gregory

Hi man love your UA-cam lessons are brilliant, I've recently taken up kettlebells I'm and og, boxing is my choice of fitness I'm not a boxer, but love the training, kettlebells are intense and can zap your energy in minutes, I find them incredible I take creatine and find it gives me the extra boost, I love explosive workout and have decided that conventional weight training is great for building mass, but to be explosive and to have great functionality specially as you get older kettlebells is the way to go your doing great.man keep doing it

@@lebe-stark will point friends to it who pursue the “ static weight & cardio “ approach. Your video highlights a more efficient process to achieving the gains they seek
