The top deck is more brutal so I'm fine with it.
Either that, or he had something that moved around charge counters, like Coretapper, Power Conduit, or Vedalken Infuser.
He also was talking at the phone with his friend LMAO
actually he was on the phone.. so deserved to die
Maybe the bomb came out after the removal enchantments.
Subtly my favorite part is how Remy has 3 Mountains in front of him as he casually casts 4 white and blue enchantments.

I once found a copy of Ratchet Bomb randomly on the floor of my high school. It's been a staple of my modern and commander decks for years now.

Fun fact: Ratchet Bomb has so much going on that it even inspired a comprehensive rules change! Because of this card blowing up Werewolves in original Innistrad, when we did Shadows over Innistrad we changed it so back faces of double-faced cards have a CMC.

@@jamestrevelyan1268 Yep! the rules stated the CMC is ALWAYS on the top right of the card. Then it was changed to the top right of the front face of cards.
I'm ashamed to say it took me a while to realize you were signing "To draw one I have waited for so long" instead of "2: draw 1, ..." - I kept thinking 'wait - ratchet bomb doesn't draw you a card?'

Well, it was a misplay after all. He cracked it after playing it instead of waiting for the last possible moment to activate it to maximize value. That's what I thought they were referring to when they said it might seem wrong.
Huge respect for the line “this jokes gone on too long” and ending your parody song before it gets too old
All of the songs end well before the real versions do.
Agreed, there are many song parodies that really should only last a few verses but instead last the whole song
@@SimpleVisionVideos I find them being the full length fine when they are done by a master of parody like Weird Al. Other than that yeah, just end the dame thing early no one cares to see the whole song.

I spent a good almost a minute wondering what the hell the joke was going to be and legitimately laughed out loud when you got to it. Props for not putting it in the title.
I watched this a couple days ago. I found myself humming Stacy’s mom today and could not for the life of me figure out how it got into my head; my wife was so confused when I started singing it and got the words way wrong. “I think I have you beat, how can you make that claim?!” It was then that I remembered this video. I have now watched it another 4 or 5 times and have the new, and improved, lyrics memorized 😇😅😂

I don’t know a single thing about Magic, but I love all these song parody videos you make :).
I haven't played MtG in quite a while and at first I had no idea where the song was going. But somehow, while listening to the beat my brain still provided me with 'Ratchet Bomb' about one second before it actually came up when thinking about what was going to happen.
The attention to detail is so on/off. The lands are never correct (forests for the joke make sense but the mountains?), but I saw you scry 1 on that prison realm? Man's out here wildin

I literally had a game like that first bomb but it was a goblin chainwhirler vs about 100 scute swarms. So satisfying to see their board wipe after waiting all that time for them to make what felt like a billion 1/1 tokens.

Scars of Mirrodin was the set that brought me back to MtG after a couple years out, and I kept playing standard for a while, mostly with Goblins, at some point tokens were pestering me so much I started running Ratchets in the main and it was so fun to win game-ones against tokens with it, I even kept running it on the main deck of Goblins after Legion Loyalist got released.
