  • This particular car is 1 of only 2 GC(2)85's ever built and was raced by Gordon Spice himself. In 1985 Spice and his team fielded this car to a class win at the 24h Le Mans and in the World Championship. Throughout the year they started engineering the Tiga which propelled them into starting the production of their own succesful Group C cars from 1986.
After its hugely succesful debut season, this GC285 was sold and raced into 1988. Some time after retirement the car was bought back by Tiga Race Cars and later by the company founder. In 1999, the car was sold to Brunn Racing who had it restored in 2015. On its debut in the Historic Group C Championship that same year, the car appropriately won its class.
Yet another Ford-Cosworth DF- powered car on the channel. I had never realized how widespread the application of the DFV engine family was until I started filming all these classic beasts. This 1985 Tiga GC285 C2 car is the only one I've uploaded with the 3.3L DFL though, and just like every other variant, it does have its specific sound characteristics. Enjoy the high-RPM 500 horsepower V8 screams and backfire!

That’d be awesome. You can never have too many Group C cars in games/ sims and this one is very unique too 👌🏻

@@AlwinSV Imho if they wanna prioritize for the sport mode the least they can do is find as many LMPs, GTs and Touring Cars as possible and add them to the game. Just like in GT4 with the JGTC models. Total Immersion...
Also I love this car cause of the unique spoiler and rear view. So awesome its been kept alive and well!!

@@FonikosGazmas The car lists from the golden era of Gran Turismo were something else yeah. So many awesome motorsport legends you had barely heard of before playing the games.
And yeah this Tiga has an awesome, sleek design and I love the exhaust setup too. I'm so happy to see these all these legends coming out to race during the big events!
