When ever I used a pull tab, I often end up splattering a little of what's in the tin, and that's not something I want on camera, hence the can opener! It would definitely be simpler to just use the tab of course. Thank for the comment :)
Marble mouth mumbler. The herrings in hot sauce are THE BEST!!! Just trying the mustard sardines right now and not bad. Was expecting more mustardy taste but not mine. I love the bones😊
It’s up to you to arrange the presentation with sardines, Vienna Sausages and Spam for a presentation. Try adding a sprig of kale or watercress and crackers to cover the sardines up. It will greatly improve the appearance of the dish.
never heard of that brand "Beach Cliff" but i see it is a product of Poland. IMHO i think the best tinned sardines come from Spain and Portugal. i always watch where my seafood comes from. also tinned sardines with tomato sauce or hot sauce are the best, because the sauce is marinading with the fish for so long it is much more flavorsome than adding your own sauce to plain sardines.
I’ve Lways been afraid of beach cliff brand. They are actually really good. I’ve passed them up for decades and bought 10 for 10. Sardines. 99. Cents or 8 bucks a can it’s the same. There is no grading on say beef and they’re all getting the same fish.
I feel like a snob. I love sardines and stayed away from beach cliff and chicken of the sea brands. They’re just as good. When figuring in the price these are a steal. And in all my years I finally bought 10 cans of these. Just as good.
In general I do, but on camera the pull tab usually ends with more mess than worth it as no matter how hard I try it end up with some splatter damage. I should practice more haha! Thanks for the comment :)

Have you been living under a rock ? This isn't a re invention of the wheel, been doing it this way for years. Do you think tomato sauce is also new ? 🤣🤣
Haha, I get it, I did explain elsewhere, no matter how hard I try I end up splattering with the pull tab, when I'm alone that's fine but on camera, the mess annoys me even if it is a few splatters. I'll practice more!

Use the pull tab why the can opener 🤦

Sure but that’s a really nice can opener lol

Work harder not smarter
@@thebrowntableyt I open with the pull tab, but in a plastic grocery bag to catch any splatter that may occur.
Canned Fish Files brought me here.
I'm confused about the can opener...

I've always bought sardines in water b/c I shared them with my cat, now that she has passed I will try the mustard style.
So sorry to hear that. I was actually thinking about sharing the ones in water with my cats to 😞
I was raised on the mustard sardines
Cool vid and thorough break down! Looking forward to more sardine videos
beach cliff packaging really reminding me of white castle
Had these the other day. I was in pressed
Impressed
I have the same “juice everywhere “! Loved the can opener, had to order one.
I like buying them in water and add my own hot or mustard sauce
Im just here to check that they don't have the heads before I open mine.
Just tried these, 8/10 gotta crave them to eat them lol
Apparently Presentation is not a priority to beachcliff
Things are a dollar, I don't mind at that price

Have you also tried the Chicken of the Sea version of Sardines in Mustard Sauce and compared?
Chicken of the Sea has some of the best for the price.
I've never seen them around, but if I do, I will!

@@oldironsides4107 they're not all the same, some are farmed.
@@mentalasylumescapee6389 no sardines are farmed
@@oldironsides4107 i don't care, the best sardines come from the Mediterranean Sea, not the Baltic Sea.
Those sardines from Spain and Portugal are expensive. No thanks. Its not that much better for how much they charge.
I appreciate you using a can opener so you dont splatter the camera. I can understand wanting to avoid the mess.
How about smoked oysters
Eating some mustard ones now wit honey bbq chips
I have had both and they are very good. Can't find the mustard sauce anymore.

Just use the pull tab next time!

I will spend a little more for some better dines.
Eat with chopsticks next time
I prefer soda crackers myself. Chopsticks are very hard to chew up and the splinters keep getting stuck in my teeth.
i like ur vids
Thank you!
The reason I dont buy these is because more mustard and hot sauce equals LESS fish weight and Less fish per can
Why just mash them up? It would be nice so see one somewhat whole. I like the Matthew fish guy better!
Dude you have to keep that mic away from your mouth. Brutal.
damn you didnt take out the vein or the bone :S
For starters let's get it right there not sardines it's herring
Since you started it..... It's They're....
