I’m surprised that J’Trident didn’t react to Teoscar’s comments on T-Mobile , A-Rod’s interview on Brock and Salk show on Tuesday concerning hitting and Dipoto’s interview on the Brock and Salk show on Wednesday. A-Rod laid out the two ingredients for a World Series: contact hitting and locked down pitching. Mike Salk played back A-Rod’s comments on hitting for Jerry on the show. Teo talked about how much he loved hitting at tmobile when we first got him. Ballpark doesn't make you miss sliders by a foot every at bat. He just has less pressure in LA.

An often quoted definition of insanity “doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”. What's changed leadership of this organization in the last 10 years to make you believe that the Mariners will have a different outcome? Jerry Dipoto says this...
"We are open to doing something that has the potential to be dynamic. Don't know if that's going to be available. Right now it's not and this is as late as we've ever gone into a deadline where I can honestly say it's not."
Nothing has changed, yet we as fans will still talk ourselves into the belief that somehow, someway, it's going to be different this year. There are still 13 days before the trade deadline, lets see if something actually changes. Until then, I'm going with status quo. M's probably miss the playoffs by 2 - 3 games if not more.
I don’t know anything about our first rd pick the switch pitcher. Is he really that good of a pitcher or is it hype? And is it viable to continue to pitch w both arms in the big league? Will he maybe start games one arm and come into relief other arm long term maybe?
He's definitely good, and will likely just focus on being a right handed pitcher. I'd say it's somewhat viable, but he's probably better off just sticking with being a righty , especially as a starter
He will probably use his left arm as a Tommy John insurance policy
Canadian fans would run the GM out of country if Bo and Vald were traded. The GM is trending lightly.
Director of Hitting Strategy for the M’s ,Jarret DeHart, needs to wake the f*ck up and listen to A-Rod comments on Brock and Salk show concerning hitting. Contact hitting is vital to get on base and move the runners along. Striking out is foolishness. Exit Velocity and Hard Hit % doesn’t factor in when bloopers can move runners on base or score runs. The M’s have been below average in scoring RISP for the last 3 years. If Jarret DeHart doesn’t get this fixed, it will be the downfall for the Dipoto era of baseball in Seattle.

I really hate to say this as a mariners fan since before i can remember but life the last couple of days without watching the mariners has felt like a better quality of life than it did when i was watching mariners games. I might just go to casual fan.

MarinersSUR is plucking players from teams that are on the cusp of a playoff spot. The Giants are going to have Alex Cobb and Robbie Ray back this weekend or following week. This is will be a shot in the arm for the Giants rotation. The Giants are 3GB in the Wild Card. Tampa is only 5.5 GB in Wild Card.
They are 1st place for how much longer though they just lost 3 of 4 to the Angels im not looking forward to the Houston series at all
