I Owned my 07 gt/cs for 5 years with bolt ons, did my fair & share of beating the shit out of it lol but overall shes a tank, ive never had any engine issues or overheating issues, the key of longevity is oil changes every 3-5k miles & maintaining other fluids aswell. However things to look for that are known to fail are the stock alternators, coolant heater core that goes underneath the manifold the connectors are plastic they tend to crack & leak coolant but other than that its been a great car to me
At the beginning of 2024, I got a ‘07 GT, 5 speed manual with the Roush Appearance package from my best friend. He was 2nd owner. 43k miles with 60k on it now. Unbelievably clean for its age, and all stock besides a Borla Catback I installed. They’re great cars man… ZERO issues thus far.
@ yea it’s more classic I used to have an 07 got it for 3k but wanted the 2010 cause U can swap 13-14 parts on it and it has slightly More Hp than 05-09 they came w 315 Instead of 300
I have an 09 Mustang GT that I neglected and let sit for a few years. I'm trying to get it going but I have a full tank of old gas. I guess I need to disconnect a fuel line and do the relay trick to drain the tank but none of the videos are showing an engine that looks like mine. The fuel rails are different and even the lines look different yet yours does look like mine mostly. Any chance you could make a vid showing how to do it?
I mean I would just suggest popping out the fuel line with the disconnect tool and then try your method, the fuel line should be easy and accessible to disconnect
