The real sin is no room with an occupancy greater than 9 is allowed to have inward opening doors. That's called a fire (or rapidly growing into a dangerous giant bride) hazard.
THIS is the kind of thing that should be "dinged", NOT the many pieces which parody other, more "serious" monster movies. I get the feeling that at least every 3rd "sin" is just lampshading movies which played the thing at face value - for example the ridiculous security scans (heck, even _Get Smart_ didn't play those straight) and the gas station roof that yields under weight, reversibly no less. At that point, I'm too tired to watch this _Sins_ episode again; if at least 1/3 of 106 "sins" are parody, that lowers the sin score to 70 or less. AND when he sinned the "cheats at counting" clichê, he missed the fact that the weight almost floated in water. Episode quality: _DING_ / 5, . . . and PLEASE don't diss burp and fart humor if you joke about nudity and sex while treating a kids movie.

There are two reasons I can thinl of why space ships have self destruct mechanisms: 1. To avoid them falling into enemy hands. This is also why real-life warships have self-destruct mechanisms. 2. A ship of this size would, if it were to fall to the ground, leave a pretty big crater and leave the whole planet worse for wear. Blowing it up while it's still high could avoid this.
Pretty sure point 2 isn't true. At least, even if you self destruct, you still have the same amount of matter and thus energy, falling towards the planet. This is why real life efforts to prevent destruction by asteroids focuses on redirecting, not destroying, asteroids.

I dont really like Megamind. I know that one is a kids movie as well, but its just way too predictable and cliche for my taste. Also the jokes are somewhat dumber or at least targeted toward smaller kids. Its an interesting premise, and could have been a timeless classic with better writing.

Also Galaxar refers to his minions/clones/soldiers as “aliens” (“Aliens, attack all monsters!”) which they clearly aren’t to him. As for the self-destruct, it does make sense to prevent technology from falling into enemy hands, or a defeated vessel from being used against you. That’s why in WW2 captains sunk their ships when it was clear they were defeated, see Bismarck.

I think so too. Surely, there r many technical errors. But it has a very unique plot. When I was a child, she was actually one of the very few truly inspiring and powerful female characters, that was not knockoff of a male character. I love this movie, its plot, its message and its jokes😂

When I first saw this movie, I quite enjoyed it, and have always been surprised to hear the hate it got. I even watched the halloween special they made. Of course, this might be entirely because of the fact that white haired women are absolutely my thing, but I still enjoyed the humour.

As a big fan of this movie despite the flaws, I agree. The series was just so stupid! And it ruined the character developtment from the first one by having Susan being able to changesize, which is cool but the whole point of the movie was her learning to accept her new self and become stronger because of it. I dont really like Megamind. I know that one is a kids movie as well, but its just way too predictable and cliche for my taste. Also the jokes are somewhat dumber or at least targeted toward smaller kids. Its an interesting premise, and could have been a timeless classic with better writing.

When I first saw this movie, I quite enjoyed it, and have always been surprised to hear the hate it got. I even watched the halloween special they made. Of course, this might be entirely because of the fact that white haired women are absolutely my thing, but I still enjoyed the humour.
Yeah, I also enjoy this movie. It isn't the best, but can appreciate it. I was also a hit surprised hearing other's hatred, but people do have opinions.

As a big fan of this movie despite the flaws, I agree. The series was just so stupid! And it ruined the character developtment from the first one by having Susan being able to changesize, which is cool but the whole point of the movie was her learning to accept her new self and become stronger because of it. Nevermind now, I guess, right?
