This was the last movie I saw with my girlfriend at the time, and it was a perfect metaphor for where we were: it was something pretty built on a rocky foundation and poor ideas which ended with eminent destruction.
When he says, "Wouldn't you rather be playing the game than watching this?", that is exactly what I thought when I watched this with my cousin. I feel like this movie just gives context for WHY you're trying to help the birds retrieve the eggs from the pigs in the game in the first place. Yeah, I'm pretty sure the screenwriters were high on SOMETHING when they came up with this movie

Yeah, Red was literally the only character in the movie with common sense. Every time he was upset he had a genuine reason for it. In a way, it's kinda like the Joker except kid-friendly.

And I genuinely enjoyed this movie, because it was so over-the-top in absurd bullshit that I became convinced the directors were actually trolling the audience, as is confirmed by Rick goddamn Astley's song cameo.

Before, they were angry when the baby mistook who the read daddy was since red was the first bird to be seen by the baby and you know what birds think when they see the first bird in their life; they assume it’s their mommy/daddy.

If you launch Matilda in any of the games, tap the screen again and she shoots an explosive egg from her bottom. I probably shouldn’t expect a 41-year-old to know that, much less CinemaSins.
