7:10 Parents have no right to be angry. Yes house woke their son up when he was in pain and yes it hurt him but it was necessary. He needed to know what that kid was experiencing before the accident. I’ve seen many cases where a severely injured patient or severely burn. Patient had to be woken up briefly just to get an answer. Of course it’s not doctors preferred way of doing things if they can find the answer without putting the patient through unnecessary pain then they would try to, but if they absolutely need to wake them up. It is some thing that is done. They monitor their heart and their blood pressure and all that to make sure that they don’t go into shock or something while they’re talking to them and they re-sedate them as soon as they have to, however, the parents had no right to tell house that he couldn’t do it again, because house still didn’t get the answer he needed from the sun and again. I’ve seen cases where they’ve had to wait the patient up twice. I’ve seen cases where they’ve had to wake the patient up and while they were trying to get the information the patient got too painful and they had to put them back under and then they tried again later and got the answer although this is not the preferred way to get answers, it’s necessary to do so.
And now they say Serotonin levels have no impact on depression. Yet at the time of this show it was an accepted fact. A lot of pharma companies made a lot of money off that false claim
I literally need ssri's because I'm autistic, and have quite a few trauma related issues, so my brain doesn't make enough serotonin, short, Ive needed them most of my life but unfortunately I can't take any "safe" low dose ones because they either make me angry or irritated, can cause seizures or give me chronic hiccups. Hes not in pain... hes edging.
Little did the dad know, he’d be in a historical in Albuquerque a few years later with head trauma after being an idiot and slipping on a rug.
Wow. Amazing. Nobody thought of that, incredible recall.
"No pain no gain"
I’ve seen cases where they’ve had to wake the patient up and while they were trying to get the information the patient got too painful and they had to put them back under and then they tried again later and got the answer although this is not the preferred way to get answers, it’s necessary to do so.
damn I felt that migraine
Thought he gonna be catching a case 😬
2:14 Those eyes!😂👀
house with a migraine is so me, whenever I have a migraine or a headache I’m in the most weirdest Spots Ever.
That is how people get addicted to getting tattoos and piercings
bro house is literally such a mood
Poor Ted, this shouldn't happen to his son
I searched specifically for this comment
House makes so many mistakes before he finds the answer.
Well the show would be rather boring if he didn't.
And now they say Serotonin levels have no impact on depression. Yet at the time of this show it was an accepted fact. A lot of pharma companies made a lot of money off that false claim
yeah :////
I literally need ssri's because I'm autistic, and have quite a few trauma related issues, so my brain doesn't make enough serotonin, short, Ive needed them most of my life but unfortunately I can't take any "safe" low dose ones because they either make me angry or irritated, can cause seizures or give me chronic hiccups. Even makes my anxiety worse, but I'm going through it. Gonna try therapy to see if that helps before going back on meds

The plug it in line happened at just the right time for me that an ad start playing right as it was plugged in but before the ad started there was a black screen. 😂
With the title alone I thought this was gonna be a David Chapelle sketch
3:22 laurie sounded british here lol
I was born with no soft spot on my head. Doctors wanted to cut my head open and put in a plate. Parents got a second opinion.

I have never seen this man more shook than this moment
Can any doctor out there attest to being in a situation where you had to make a decision based on a hunch that could instantly kill or cure a patient?
No because that’s tv stuff
No
This isn’t reddit
We're talking about House, here. That's his unique little personality quirk. The odds of a doctor finding this comment are already extremely low, for them to also be an eccentric like House is just not gonna happen.
At least he said sorry...
damn, he got freaky-itis
oh hail ted beneke has been healed
How many times does he have to be right before they just start believing him?
2:18 I'm having a migraine, so let me loudly slam my hand onto the table which I really need now
I wish our medical professionals were so well staffed and supported that they could spend so much time and care on a patient like on tv 😢
This is one of the best episodes of House
This is the moment Ted turned into Howard Hamlin
i love this show. 1 in 10mil chance, if he has it treatment works, if he doesnt the treatment kills him
