Swiss medias are so chill. They will happily show wholesome things there because why not ? It makes people happy too ! Once, once of the TV news was "have you played zekda tears of the kingdom ? It's so cool !" So, yeah, swiss medias are very friendly and cute
What a journey! So sorry that you missed your flight!✈️ Thank goodness you were able to return a day later. This extraordinary experience leaves you with extra special memories . Blessings!🙏🏼
Switzerland was Albert Einstein's favorite place. He dropped out of college in Germany after having trouble with engineering. Switzerland excited Einstein's interest in mathematics and physics. Glad to see you made it home!
Always seeing the best in everything that happens, great samurai! Thank you for sharing your wonderful d’aventure! Next time, please consider visitant Portugal. Have a nice week-end, great samurai!
Sometimes the ups and downs of trips are the ones we remember with most fondness. I love that you got to take those pictures. What a memory! Thank you for sharing your trip. It makes me want to do cycling trips.
Ok, seeing you with Nicolò balini (human safari) was so hilarious, like two completely different parts of the world that meet. I'm Italian and grew up with his videos, so nice you two had a chance to meet!
I talked to a colleague from work (in Bern) about your video about trip to Switzerland and a few days later it was on the most popular info site 20 minutes :)
Thanks for sharing your journey with us! It inspired me to be brave and travel too someday. I’m happy such beautiful places are waiting for me when I get the courage 😊
Congratulations on being featured on the news! Switzerland is so gorgeous. Look at you with matcha on hand! I didn't realize they still do covid checks. I am glad you were able to get a bath and enjoy your time with your mom when you got home. I don't have a bathtub and have not in fifteen years so once in a while I take baths at my parents' house too. haha. It is maybe only once or twice a year. That food looks so good.
Hello dear ...Im an Indian, from Kerala...I loved ur vedios so much...now just being addicted ❤...ur lifestyle and japanese health awareness is made me so impressed.....in such a way...I just started to following ur lifestyle as I can ....u Changed my life and thoughts....I got it health is precious than anything ❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉... thanks so much... waiting for next vedios ❤❤❤
Thank you for the video. The "where am I" at the end, I felt soo much.🤣 I'm pretty awful at navigating. And on my last trip, that was about the most usual thought I had. But with less nervousness. For one thing, getting lost all the time, really gets you used to it. 😅 And for another, my luck always brought me where I was supposed to be. 😇 (The "everything happens for a reason" is in my case about as unsubtle as fireworks. To the point where I'm pretty sure, my family had some connection to religious stuff. The sheer amount and strength of karma is truely ridiculious. I'm still unsure if that was supposed to be a curse or a blessing. Every member of my family gets what they are wishing others. Both good and bad. Since most of them are pretty petty, they tend to have awful luck with absolutely everything, except their literal lives. One of my uncles had survived a double break in a cervical vertebra. Is that a literal neck break? Or does neck break mean the part between the cervical vertebra breaks? I'm not sure, but the doctors told him, that he can celebrate his birthday twice a year from now on. However he has absolutely no luck whatsoever in any other way. Friends, love, children, money - everything else gives him problems. My nephews seem to get the same type of luck. One of them came home from playing one winter morning drenched. I think he was four at that time. He must have gone on the frozen pond, broken through the ice and gotten out, when noone was looking. He did have lots of problems with the other kids in kindergarten and with learning in school though. I'm one of the very few who has luck in other areas. And one of the very few who prefers to help others, rather than to compete with them.) It's still a bit uncomfortable to have more reliable luck then reliable navigation-skills. 😅But the navigation actually did get better. And by now I have a little idea, what's actually the problem and also how to fix it. It'll still take time, but at least I now know, that I can get better with this. (In case you are wondering, I have very little spatial awareness. I think it's also the reason, I have trouble with judging distances, and some sports. 🙃 I found that training Iaido helps with that. I still can't imagen an opponent and have trouble knowing where I'm supposed to put my feet, but by now I do have a picture in my head where the scabbard is, during the movements. Which wasn't the case before. So I will probably get better eventually.😄I know for someone with good spatial awareness, it probably sounds like the achievement of a little child. Honestly, it probably is. I doubt I improved in that area since I was maybe 7 years old. But to me it feels like the first push up, I managed. When I asked my teacher back in elementary school how to learn push ups, she told me to start with five push ups and do one more each day. But I couldn't do the first push up, which she knew. Even after I asked her how to get to the first, she basicly told me "you just have to do it". I later had a different teacher, who did manage to give me a way to get there. But I still wonder, how often people don't separate lack of ability and lack of motivation. It seems a very common missunderstanding. Giving motivation, where ability or literally know-how is missing, will just frustrate. Giving know-how, where motivation is missing, isn't going to change anything. It's about as frustrating as these guys I know, who insist I make a decision. I DID make a decision. Months ago! They just didn't like what I decided and therefore ignored my decision for the entire time. 🙄Well, if they're going to ignore any answer, that they don't like, I see no point in talking to them anymore. It's not like they bother to listen anyway. 🙃The sad thing is, if they had listened, I'm sure there could have been compromisses, so that they got to enjoy part of the success too. But I doubt it would happen now. A person who wants to take from others what he is refusing to give, is very likely to end up without any of it. It's a pity, but that is something everyone has to decide for themselves. You simply can't take karma from someone else.) I'm glad that you managed to find another flight. And that you managed to stay calm. I wonder which one was actually harder... 😅 And that you enjoyed your journey regardless of the bumps. I think afterwards, the bumps sometimes make the best stories. Doesn't make them more enjoyable when they happen, but it's often a funny memory afterwards. The pictures with the night sky look amazing. It does remind me of the video with your favorite winter day. So hopefully you had just as much fun or more.😄 Lots of love from europe
I live in europe and i badly miss your videos from japan😅 i love everything about the minimalist japanese lifestyle and the habits and foods from your country you showed in your old videos❤ i wish you a great time back in europe though😊
Same 😊. I just recently discovered this channel since I've had many videos about minimalist lifestyle in my recommendations lately. So I started to watch some previous videos, got used to his nice room and everyday routines, just to discover that he's not even living there anymore 😭.
Sorry for feeling funny, but i like the last second the most 😄 P/S: Welcome back to JP!! Thanks for sharing how you handled things when you feel most worried :D
Your thumbnails remind me of Japanese mangas, especially for this video and visit to Aomori video. Your humble attitude and being able to laugh at yourself when problems happen is so important in dealing with problems... I am trying to work on that too for myself 🙂 What is life without a sense of humor... "...right?😁"
Well well well. 25 years ago, for one of my first international trip to USA (from France), I went to LA. The day of the trip back I made the same mistake as you, missed my flight, it was a business one, I panicked, need to pay additional 500usd. I was a young traveller without a penny. At the airport, they helped me reschedule. I will never make the time zone mistake anymore :)
You're just so adorable and creative. At the hostels where I stay during my travels, I wash my clothes by hand too. When you wear four season wool clothes, you don't need to wash them often. I can wear the same wool underwear for three days before it starts to smell. The less weight in my backpack, the better.
I am sorry you missed your flight. If you are ever in a similar situation, or your plans change and you decide you would like to travel on a different date, you can phone most airlines and they will help you reschedule your flight. It usually costs a rebooking fee, but it is still much cheaper than having to buy a completely new ticket.
What an experience 😃 Although you went through such troubles, interesting to see that everything turned out well in the end😆 Looking forward to seeing a new video of your bamboo bike adventure😊
Sorry you had to go through a terrible mistake and miss your flight, but I love the way you describe your emotions at that time. Makes this video more interesting! Look forward to hearing about your current adventure.
Oh god, missing a plane is my worst nightmare >.< We are currently planning our first trip to Japan (very long in the making). We are taking a whole month for it and it still feels way too short :D But we are VERY excited and the list of places to visit is so very long!
please can someone tell me if what i am thinking of doing is inappropriate or okay. I was told how shameful it was to place a statue of Buddha's head on the ground in the garden, so I don't want to make such a grave mistake. Can I make a rose trellis out of a torii gate?
Rather daft to travel without being vaccinated and not so minimalist to rush about a continent without considering the effect on the planet which is callous and surprising for someone with high ethical standards. Hopefully travel by bike will be a better choice. I still feel guilty for the 6 flights I took 40 years ago despite working to repay my karmic debt to the planet ever since
Its not true!?! Mont Bell. My first sleeping bag. I made several Tours around the World with it since about 1982. And its very very good. Near my bed. Now! Up to now i thought it was from the US. - From the Italian Side Matterhorn called "Monte cervino" looks different. Bye!

Wow, what a time you had! Also, your mom’s food looked AMAZING! Tfs!

We recently discovered this channel and we really like it :) We come from Budapest, Hungary🇭🇺
Excellent trip! Thank you for sharing.
Lovely trip. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Love seeing you on your travels, noticing details along the way.
Switzerland was Albert Einstein's favorite place. He dropped out of college in Germany after having trouble with engineering. Switzerland excited Einstein's interest in mathematics and physics. Glad to see you made it home!
Einstein's most famous scientific work was completed while living in Bern, Switzerland.🎉

Thank you for sharing and so sorry you missed your plane.
Safe travels
You should go to the northern countries. Beautiful nature and most welcoming people. Vikings!

You handled your emergencies and mistakes just fine, Aki. Nobody remembers the trip that went perfectly. Fortunately, no trip goes perfectly.

Hi Aki
You a little bit confused me with this video jumping back time till January 😅
But I realized, it's half a year ago
Why haven't you been vaccinated?
I am American I have no money but I think I can travel somehow

Howdy 👋🏽ur minimalist person …, but you don’t mind spending a lots of money for holidays 🤔. don’t get me wrong.
Please get vaccinated.
Why are you unvaccinated for COVID?
Maybe he will reply if you can provide a good explanation for how it is any of your business. 🤔
