Actually, you already created the book title. Minimalism is about appreciating the value and beauty of practical, useful things and their simplicity, and making it a strong principle in your lifestyle. So, "Happiness is all around you" is a perfect title. We are all surrounded by simple objects that can make us happy 100% of the time, but there are so many shiny objects (TV, marketing, tech) around that obstruct it. If you want it to be more evident, "Happiness lives in simplicity" would be a good title."

Hi aki!! I’m a 21y female. You are the only channel I’ve watched EVERY single video of. & even more than once!🤣
I’ve been trying to have a minimalist lifestyle but when I see other videos of “minimalist kitchen, minimalist room etc.” they only show that the surfaces are minimal and that the drawers are organised, but they don’t actually own little- they hide big amounts of stuff & organise it. But I want less stuff!! So far I’ve been getting rid of things I don’t need. I’ve managed to decrease my room down to my bed, one bedside table, a wardrobe & a mini fridge! Then for extras I just have a collapsible laundry basket & a side stool. (I have a mini fridge because I live in a flat & my food gets eaten in the big fridge). The only thing I haven’t been able to fully embrace minimalism is my wardrobe!! I’m working on it with the one in one out rule. Thank you so much for inspiring me. I love your lifestyle & mind!! Cant wait till u start posting more vids again❣️

Amazing Aki!!!It was very fun to watch your journey!!
    For a book:
-how to do a tea ceremony, maybe make it a brand: like you make it a type of meditation that companies start doing and kids can also learn.
-ikigai for modern young people who have so much electronic medias
    -aesthetics of japanese minimalism
-and staying happy when things get difficult.
thanks: I think you can make a very nice book. I live in Amsterdam and I think there is not very much matcha that is authentic. I was thinking how I would like to learn and then make tea ceremonies for people in my studio. 🍵...also,maybe you can show us how to pick good matcha and also how its made.
😌...also can you show how to wear kimono for a woman. if they have different things they have to wear.

I'd certainly buy your book, if you do write it. I'm thinking it would include your stories, the minimalistic lifestyle as you in particular live it as a Japanese man, how to prep matcha of course! And so on. Probably your own brand of Matcha tea will only be available in my country (Aotearoa/NZ) via expensive shipping but I will keep an eye out in case it is affordable here. All the best in these new projects

I would love it if you wrote a book one day! Your energy and mindset is one of my favorites across all of UA-cam, and I enjoy it in each video.
But what I like about books is you're able to reach people who might not find you on UA-cam, and a way of keeping that in one place even offline. Depending on what kind of book you write it might be possible to link back to your channel or website as well.

    Hi Aki
I'm very glad and proud of you for making it your journey.
I hope that many more will follow in north and east Europe, Asia, Australia & New Zealand, South America and Canada too.
Also can't wait for your own matcha brand! I know you are a credible person, therefore I know it's will be quality guaranteed 💫
Also I think it's an awesome idea to you write a book.
My question will be a moral one. You said traditional Japanese culture.
I simultaneously watch different UA-camrs about your country. Caught my attention to Takahashi from Japan video interviews, when he is asking foreigners who're living in Japan, and Japanese youngsters from each other. Both say that Japan is a very closed and homogenic country, and integration (even if one of your parents from there, or if you are speaking fluently the language) is impossible.
So my Q1 would be : when Japan will be open for mixing other nations as drastically aging, and record low the child birth rate
Q2: you as a minimalist, what do you think about families with kids?

Congrats, and thanks for sharing! Practicing gratitude for everything is a very useful skill. I feel that it's harder for people to do that in the modern world, because the people responsible for our comforts are harder and harder to see.
For example, it's easy for me not to be thankful for the chair I'm sitting on, because it was probably constructed by a machine rather than a human. In order for that to happen, however, many people were involved in the process. Many people were involved in designing the chair. Many people were involved in designing and building the machinery used to make it. Many people were involved in designing, building, and running the factory that the machines were in. All of those people had to be educated, which required teachers, professors, and countless other staff members.
If you reflect on this, you begin to be thankful for everything you see and touch in your life. You realize that you couldn't possibly be living the life you're living without the hard work of thousands, if not millions, of people.

Hi Aki! Congrats for your trip and I love your way of turning hard situations into happy ones. I fully agree about happiness around us: we just have to decide to look at it 😊
Another suggestion from me: I would be very interested in hearing your views/ideas/inspirational tips on digital minimalism. Beside trying to live a concrete minimalist lifestyle, we need guidance about how to live a simple digital lifestyle: there are so many apps, possibilities with platforms, websites, digital services etc. And this can fill up our mind so much that I think that we need to be able to make choices, take distance from the web and stay disconnected from digital devices in a balanced way. If you feel the same, please post some videos about this topic. 🙏😉🤗

I don't know if you will read this but thank you so much for your videos. We have a Japanese store here - I'm from Germany - and I noticed that the matcha isn't that of a high quality how it should be. That's why I would totally support your idea with the matcha brand since you are some kind of master in it.
About the book I think it's interesting to know how you developed your happy style. I know you say it very often that we should be grateful but for example you lost your "dream" when the kazuya guy demolished the building. But here you are happy or even happier. I think you should include a big section about happiness, finding your Ikigai and something like this. Since the rise of social media the people feel more and more depressed and something like that is really important for them to read.
I know you are the kind of guy who is honest. So maybe mentioning some mistakes you have made and what you learned from it?
I'm looking forward to you and your channel. Totally gonna support your matcha brand and your book!
Since you were in Germany I don't know what kind of connection you already have but if you want to know something about Germany, business in Germany, society or you need some translations, just email me :D I have a business email in my UA-cam account linked.
Thank you so much for all of your videos, because you are very inspiring and you changed my life to the better.

For your book, I'd like to learn more about the spiritual aspects of a minimal/simple lifestyle. In the West, the essence of Eastern lifestyles (spirituality) is often stripped away (e.g. yoga is predominantly physical, not spiritual, and animism is taboo).

It's a really nice that somehow the fate brought me into this wholesome and amazing channel. Aki, those thing you wanted to do, especially the second and third point, is really suprising for me, I instantly have a thought like "Woah, This man is really good at deciding goals".
The fact that you wanted to write a book, I really looking forward for it. You are truly an inspirational person. Too bad I can't find your channel earlier because I'm now too busy on my college life.
I really hope, maybe you can also make a video about how to keep being on a healthy lifestyle while on the busiest moment of your life.

Great idea to write a book!
If simplicity and minimalism would be the topic I would love to know more about what you think IS minimalism from your point of view and also about your mindset (this is the point when being a minimalist!) and also your wisdom, so that everyone can see where to start.
Because you said "Simple life in Japan" and you like to exchange with others you can also ask other people in Japan what their way of a simple life is. Maybe there are similarities or differences? And also how easy or difficult it is to live a simple life, not only in Japan but in general.
Maybe also a little about your experience concerning this topic during your journeys.
I like your mindset and you are really good in words and bring the things to the point (sorry for bad english here 😂) so a book like this would be great!
If you have a more precise idea for your book, I think people here are great to help to get some more ideas!
Best wishes, looking forward to the next videos 🙂

Simple daily tips would be great incorporating Zen principles. I don’t really know anything. Your culture fascinates me, and you are inspirational. Well done.
