The ULTIMATE Budget Sleeper PC!

  • My first video on this channel was about starting a sleeper PC. Well, I finally built a sleeper PC. The title says that it is the ULTIMATE budget sleeper PC. That might be little bit of a stretch but I found it funny while looking at other sleeper PC videos how many of them used "ULTIMATE" their titles so I decided to follow the trend.
I don't talk a lot in the video so if you have any question about the build just leave a comment!
This is the dremel that I ordered:
    www.amazon.com...
This is what I used for the front I/O:

Me and my friend are both planning on building a sleeper, and I stumbled upon this video. I have that exact ATX case and a Dell Dimension case from 2000. We were originally using the Dell Dimension computer as a sleeper, but it contains proprietary standoffs that are built inside the case. Awesome video btw, you have motivated me to finish building my sleeper!

Hi! Since I've seen you help others build their pc, I would also love that! My main focus would be overwatch, i would like that to run about 144 fps since i have a 144hz monitor. My budget is around 600- 700 euros. I was planning on building a fresh pc, but due to the virus prices have rised significantly. I wouldnt mind used parts but i'd prefer new ones. Thanks!

Hey! Yeah, I would love to give you some suggestions and answer any questions. Overwatch is one of the games I play the most and the game that made me want to get a faster refresh rate monitor. I have a pretty good idea of what I would recommend off the top of my head because of how much I play it. If you let me what country you are in and what stores you are planning on buying the parts from I can give you a more detailed suggestions.

@@BennyTech Benny Tech Okay! So, I live in Estonia (its in Europe). Are you asking me what online stores im looking at? Because if so it really doesn't really matter too much (maybe only if it has crazy shipping fees). But if you meant something else, like stores, from which I could pick parts up from, then I don't quite know how to answer that question, because in Estonia, we really do not have a lot of the "big name" tech companies. Thanks for helping!

@@aldartalviste4095 Good to know! Is there an amazon site specific to the Estonia? I know there are a few for specific European Countries. I just wanna make sure I am looking at similar prices to the ones you are seeing.
From the research I have done the 1660 super a pretty good option for the the price and you would definitely be able to play OW at high frame rates. For the CPU its really hard not to recommend Ryzen, but it really depends on pricing and your use case.

We are building it in a very old case aswell as he loves the look, I'm 3d printing him a 3bay cover that houses a 120mm fan so I'm looking forward to that! @@BennyTech I'll let you know in the near future. Honestly it's a weird desktop. With everything out, this is still one "heavy boi." The whole back end would need to be cut off and remade for current motherboards. Not sure if it needs to be welded or just adding some L-brackets to hold the new back end. I still want to use the bottom tray that holds to gpu along with the power supply door.

    • @BennyTech
      @BennyTech  4 роки тому

@@CosmonautAngel Yeah I think older cases must have been made out of a different type of material than most new ones. All the older ones I have are sooo heavy! That would be awesome to keep the gpu where it was originally. @BennyTech  4 роки тому

So if you are after all new parts here is a pc part picker list. From what I have seen in videos it this build will give you an average fps around 120 fps on lower settings in Warzone. That's a little lower that what you want, but it should still feel way smooth compared to 60 fps. None of the parts on this list are the only possible option, just a rough idea of what you can get. For example if you find a gtx 1070 on the used market it will give you similar performance to the 1660 super from what I can tell. You could also get away with a lower wattage psu if you want and save $15 or so. It just kinda depends on what is most important to you.
      Heres the link:
      pcpartpicker.com/list/v7JZyk
If you can find some deals on the used market or through online sales and mange save l 50 - 70 bucks over all you could go with a AMD RX 5600xt or RTX 2060. These cards should give you the 144 average you are looking for.
Hopefully that was helpful, Let me know if you have any questions.
