Jaw Crusher fed by 988F Loader

- We resumed production at one of the Granite Quarries, crushing rejected granite blocks into various aggregates for the upcoming season. We are crushing with our KPIJCI 3055 Jaw, then into our KPIJCI 300S Cone. The plant is being fed by our old faithful 988F loader. this machine thrives in this environment as opposed to a sand and gravel pit. Ideally we would have a spade bucket to help penetrate the block piles smoother, but this is what was on the machine upon delivery to this site.

Awesome video awesome,
Thanks for the visit
Very excellent and very beautiful Caterpillar loader
Thank you very much!
you guys should post long form watch me work vids. no commentary just clips of everything running for like 45min to an hr
we could get some going. any machines we should showcase?
@@wdscepaniak mainly the jaw crusher some of the feeding and some of the actual jaw its self. or really anything.
Would be neat to also see the out feed conveyor, to see finished product. Otherwise, cool video.
I’ll be back down there next week and can grab another video
Interesting how CAT went back to that dual boom design with the 88K
The mono boom on the H is terrible for visibility by comparison
Agreed
Interesting! How long does it take to wear the jaws out with that granite?
This quarry we will probably get 40,000 tons, flip them then another 40,000
@@wdscepaniak 988F series II is the best loader ever made . Very stable very strong awesome v8 (not todays bullshit) very reliable. Actually is an upgraded 988B . NEVER SELL IT! KEEP YOUR F !
Is that shot or all sure strike/hammer pile? That is some hard rock
the quarry owner cable saws the stone, then they bring us any rejected blocks to sure-strike and then crush
What type of rock is this?
Granite
No winers about half full loader buckets yet give em time gotta laugh
I think they do well not to slip a tire. Not easy digging without teeth
theyll show up eventually haha
right on gotta be careful
