Our channel will give viewers an inside look at our mining & construction company. We will share footage from our job sites, and go in-depth to show the processes involved with mining, processing, & transporting construction aggregate materials
Jaw Crusher fed by 988F Loader
We resumed production at one of the Granite Quarries, crushing rejected granite blocks into various aggregates for the upcoming season. We are crushing with our KPIJCI 3055 Jaw, then into our KPIJCI 300S Cone. The plant is being fed by our old faithful 988F loader. this machine thrives in this environment as opposed to a sand and gravel pit. Ideally we would have a spade bucket to help penetrate the block piles smoother, but this is what was on the machine upon delivery to this site.

Crushing Limestone Rock
Переглядів 49 тис.Рік тому
We visited our projects in Nebraska and Kansas where we're showcasing many of our field operations capabilities. . At the quarry site we're stripping overburden, reclaiming, as well as crushing and screening 500,000 tons of aggregate. . We're then transporting the aggregate 60 miles to a distribution hub, and from there placing it along a network of county roads to resurface the gravel roadways...
D9T Dozer Pushing Sand
Переглядів 2,5 тис.Рік тому
Our D9T Dozer pushed out the remaining bits of usable aggregate before reclaiming the empty section of the gravel pit so it can be reestablished as a grassland. . We've found the D9 size dozer from Caterpillar to be a great all around machine as it maximizes production and portability. We are able to move it from jobsite to jobsite without disassembly. . . As always, thanks for watching. Be sur...

I love it. Mesmerizing sound of the crushing and rhythm 🎶 music to my ears as well as soft a gentle wave to my need for sleep 💤.
Soothes the mind
Love crushing some recycle. They have specially made slab tooth jaw dies that do a great job crushing slabby material. Real game changer for tonnage, and when the slab falls right through the jaw
ill have to check those out. anything to speed things up
So what does the final product look like?
at this project we were making 3/4" rock, 3/8" rock, and manufactured sand
You could also help out by planting the same tree species next to the mine on the reclaimed land.
That’s part of the long term plan
How often do you need to manually clean out the ponds?
This site needed cleaning every few weeks which is more that usual elsewhere
Do you use wear resistant rubber on the hoppers or is the limestone soft enough for bare metal?
Normally use a high carbon steel like ar400, most liners are bolt in. In high abrasion quartzite we go to a hardplate and some higher wear areas we do a rubber/ceramic
Have you used rubber backed steel plates or those 20” x 20” rubber with ceramic pads? I would imagine the sound dampening would be advantageous?
Yes at certain transfer points
I wish you had the full video of this, seeing the material being crushed and the results is awesome
Sure, that could be a future video.
2 questions: 1. Where are the 4 foot blocks? 2. What is ganite? Is it a sub species of gannet (Morus bassonus)?
1. in the crusher 2.an igneous rock formed by cooled and crystalized magma
@wdscepaniak Nothing in there was 4 feet! That is granite. The title refers to ganite which is why I asked.
Not showing us the rest of your crusher is absurd. 16 thumbs downs
for a different video
Crushing tons of granite, I'm guessing that is at least 15 tons in the bucket
right abouts
A full video of this granite being crushed and making tons of granite aggregate, if you have time 😊 i would like to see if.
will do
Is it me or granite seems like a hard stone to crush
@@johnnymurff4137 very dense and hard to crush
Now remove chain
ok
I have land limestone
Where
hi what do you think are the essentials in starting a crushing and washing plants?
A resource, crusher, screener, conveyers, loader
Awesome video awesome like seeing those huge stockpiles of aggregate material Nice commentary.
Thanks man
The music degrades the video. Not appropriate for the content.
ok
Good videos. Can you share about your settling ponds design and method to separate slurry in this project?
usually when designing setting ponds, we want to have move water volume than necessary. we are limited sometimes, like this site, on footprint that the ponds can occupy
It's missing it's composite armour and gun ports
we will add those this winter
@wdscepaniak Legend 💪
LAME WITH THE MUSIC
ok
😮
!
i’m curious on what you guys do when you have a hole in your screens, do you guys j bolt a patch on it or replace a whole screen?
Replace the whole screen, in emergencies we can patch but it’s too much of a quality control liability to keep as a standardized practice
@@johnscepaniak3959 what do you guys patch with, just another cut screen and a j bolt?
Sometimes we will use a rubber belt chunk on larger screens, or will use a patch piece and caulk the edges on smaller ones
cut the music it suks
ok
Awesome video awesome pushing big scoops of material
thanks Johnny
How many acres were you guys worken in looks like a massive area
About 20-30 including everything going on
You don’t take a bucket like that ever wheel spin
Ok
How much all does it cost
This setup is in the 4-5 million ballpark
We use that overburden make select fill
Are you in Nebraska
Love recycling cuts my materials cost down big time never thought of mixing tho guess that’s my next task to figure out
Huge cost saver
The excès of sand can be sold for making cement bricks, or sold as plaster sand, or for mortar laying blocks.
correct
Great Good job
thank you
Why do people put stupid music on a video clip. Would have been nice to watch. But lasted about a minute and half.
ok
How much does the plant cost?
these components have been accumulated over time, but to purchase this , all new from factory could run $1-3 million+ depending on options equipped
Great video! Looks like I'll be getting into the business. Don't know the first thing about it, and this shed some light. I'm meeting him on Saturday to go over everything. Would love to talk to someone about questions i should be asking and valuations prior to writing a check. Thanks!
best of luck
I work in a Limestone quarry in North Wales UK. Great see how you have yours set up. All the best.
Thanks, you too!
Awesome video awesome,
Thanks for the visit
Almost made it two minutes, couldn't handle the music!
sorry about that
@@wdscepaniak No you aren't, otherwise you would have fixed it. Horrible choice.
I love 💕💕💕 you too

Wow beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! Cheers!
Who picked this shitty overlay music, for fucks sake not needed
you guys should post long form watch me work vids. no commentary just clips of everything running for like 45min to an hr
we could get some going. any machines we should showcase?
@@wdscepaniak mainly the jaw crusher some of the feeding and some of the actual jaw its self. or really anything.
How many Horsepower does it take to run the conveyer belts.
our average generator is around 500KW, so 650-700 HP total
These videos are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
thank you
C r u sh in G lie me stoner
yup
Radon rock, also known as under-slab rock or radon stone, is a naturally occurring, permeable mixture of rocks used in construction and landscaping to reduce or eliminate radon gas in buildings. This is more common up north when houses have basement and one of the requirements to be tested for in housing with below ground structures.
Your jaw is rotating the wrong way, it should be rotating towards your feeder, that way it grabs the material and draws it down as its rotating, it will crush much more efficiently. Swap two of your phases and that should reverse your motor.
I agree with your logic, the rotation was correct here
Nice video what model Breakers are you using out there
Unsure of the model of the NPK hammer
How loud are 1 of those crushers and is there much dust comes of them or will the water jets kill all the dust
The water neutralizes the dust, the noise off put by a crusher at distance is less than a lawnmower
I just ask cause there’s a company here in Ireland and they are trying to get planning for a concrete crushing plant but locals are saying that there is excessive dust for the crusher and the noise from it is louder than a jumbo jet taking off . Just wanted to know from someone who is dealing with crushers everyday what the real answer is thanks . And how far of a distance from the crusher till it’s like a lawnmower
The uninformed public always seems to have strong opinions that impede progress on permitting. On our most recent noise sampling at one of our granite crushing operations , noise averaged a 30db 90% of the time at 500-700 feet. There would be occasional peaks ranging from/50-90db for short durations when striking the blocks. However these were all within the thresholds of our state permitting allowance In terms of dust or fugitive emissions, we conduct visual opacity testing on equipment and add dust mitigation via water spray where needed
The music really is very tough to listen to. Allmost didnt make it through the video
We will adjust on the next ine
That's quite the operation. What's the final price per ton loaded out of the distribution hub?
Crushed and delivered to this project was 20ish
@@wdscepaniak Man, that is cheap!
Granted that’s wholesale contract price for a few hundred thousand tons
