Please don’t ever change your songs! I like the new ones, too, but some have become your signature songs. I’m really enjoying your hikes!!! Thank you, Gail from Michigan!!!

You guys are so delightful. You inspire me for so many reasons. You videos are a perfect blend of beauty, adventure, humor, friendship and you can do anything you put your mind to. I especially love the encouraging words at the end. All that footage and the making of these videos is not easy. So very appreciated. You Certainly have that “wake up and live” spirit.
Beautiful scenery, I'm loving going on this adventure with you all. You 3 inspire me so much. I'm planning some hiking myself with my husband. So you all have definitely gave me the motivation to get out there and get to hiking. I can't think of a better retirement than being out with nature. Take care out there and stay safe. God bless 🙏
So glad the heat has broken for you gals. As you hiked by all that beautiful water I wondered if you ever jump in, 2 seconds later I got my answer! Enjoy town.
Wishing you luck and safety as you navigate the mess that is now the northwest Oregon forest! My poor home state took a beating last year. Really enjoying seeing Oregon through your lens.
You all crack me up. I haven’t done that part of Oregon so the visuals were new to me. I can’t wait to see how how Washington looks through your lenses. Also “ I carried it for a little bit, but it’s heavy.”🤣🤣🤣
I'm pretty sure I passed you guys (I was headed south) in the Obsidian area. It would have been shortly before you hit obsidian falls. I was impressed when I saw you, even more impressed now to find what you're accomplishing! Love it!
Ha. LYNN, now I know why your pack was so heavy. Also, glad you ladies didn't have to traverse around those "large" snow areas. Lol. Yet another great video. You got some video of that area that I have never seen. Loved it
Yay!!! Elaine is my mom and Don is my step day, I knew you guys would hit it off if you could meet up. I'm in Col. Springs and figure I will cross paths with you some day while out hiking. thanks for the videos. #NoDayWasted
You are AWESOME and a total inspiration!!! You all have such a good attitude even when it's sucky! My daughter and I want to hike the PCT after I retire and watching your videos is super motivating!
That deadfall you have to climb over, under and around is INSANE! This was a very pretty hike for us to view I can only imagie what it looked like in person. Have a great rest and congrats on reaching 600!
That section has the most lava. Glad you weren’t there during the worst of the heat. But it’s still hard hiking on lava rock. Enjoying your adventures. Hope you can make a good plan to get through the insane blow down. Lots of fires the past several years, especially around Sisters. Stay safe. Thanks for posting.
Howdy, Wander Women! I saw you at Bobby Lake, walked in with Dolittle and took a swim. I first met you on our mutual first thru-hike, Colorado Trail, 2015, and again when I was with Mighty Blue in 2019 (I think?). I finished PCT on Aug. 7, then hiked out to Ross Lake via PNT and took a water taxi, one mile to Highway 20. I've been enjoying watching your hike and reminiscing! Keep rollin'! ~Pony
The moments with the deer were magical! Your visit to Obsidian Falls reminded me of a story my grandfather told me about 'Apache Tears'. A piece of obsidian held up to the light just right seems full of tear shaped voids. Here's hoping your stay in Sisters is everything you need it to be.
McKenzie Pass! You guys took me right back to my childhood 😆 my dad used to drive us all over southern Oregon on summer weekends. I always remembered McKenzie Pass as a Star Trek like landscape but I was beginning to think my brain just wanted it to be like that! Obsidian Falls was one of our favs too. So much fun to imagine that every little shard was an artifact!
I noticed the dead, dry patches then the areas where there is grass and everything is green. I was wondering if those areas were areas that burned either this year or in the last couple of years ? The difference is stark, to say the least. Beautiful area anyway. Hike On !
Hi WaWos, we love your videos and we start the PCT section you've got coming up from Timberline Lodge to Cascade Locks Aug. 3rd, so we're really curious to see what shape the trail's in. Reading about impassable blowdown sections is giving us the willies! We'll be watching - safe hiking! Hushpuppy
Been to the quilt show. Cute town. Relax and eat. If you mail a box to the Cracker barrel at White Pass, my grandson usually takes the boxes up there from Yakima. Will you make it to Trail days? Love the hike videos.....
You guys are doing so great! 👍. I've got some catching up to do with the videos as I've been working outside every hour of daylight. ☺️. But thanks to Annette for the kind note. Yep, whenever your wandering feet make it back home to COS, lunch is on me. 😊
The mini bears ( chipmunks, mice, raccoons, ect) are why I carry a bear vault. I know they don't eat much but I don't like eating their leftovers. It also makes a good chair and I don't have to take time to hang it every night. Never have figured out how to hang a bear bag when there are no trees and there are marmots and mice in the area. What do you do with your food bags when there is no place to hang one?
I do plan on going back to watch old videos once I've caught up to the current hike, but can someone tell me if there's an origin of Pesky in the WW vids somewhere?
@@wanderwomenkristyannette5021 Thanks, WanderTeam! That was quite amusing. I've never read the book or watched the movie. I'm sure I'll get around to it eventually. I'm hiking a pretty un-used trail, but I'll keep an eye out for Peskys around and within me.
Hello ladies! Been following along and have been enjoying your journey! You 3 are impressive and very inspiring! I’m a native Oregonian and I’ve been doing the Oregon section of the PCT over the last couple summers. Last summer I did the 100 miles from Ollalie Lake to Cascade Locks…. I believe you’re looking for intel on the blow down section up near Mt. Hood. From what I’m hearing/reading it’s doable but has a couple short re-routes. You might find this FB page on the Timberline Trail useful. Lots of comments there about some of the blow downs in that area and also the progress being made to clear up the trails there. Good luck and happy trails!! facebook.com/groups/605470796459231/?ref=share
Tsk, tsk, Pesky. You shouldn't be doing things like that. What happened to hiker etiquette. Hehe. Interesting area. Glad you all are doing well. But please watch out for Pesky. You never know what she is up to. Hehe. Keep trekking. 😀
If you need a ride or anything to get up and around the closed area you can email us at ntrpds@gmail.com - we are close to Salem OR and around this weekend (July 17 and 18). We could get you at Paulina Lake exit.

Love watching your videos! Oregon looks lovely as always!
Another great video. Thanks for sharing. I really want to do this walk one day.
You make me smile! Enjoy Sisters!
Good luck navigating the fire and blow down areas. You are doing an awesome job. Keep pushing northbound!
I’ve done this section from where wickiup Plains meets the trail, to lava camp lake. It’s nice to see places I’ve hiked!
I love water falls!!!
Pesky and the water gave me a great laugh
Beautiful scenery, Pesky hiding her water in Lynn’s pack…..🤣 stay safe 👍🏻❤️
Another day joining you on my treadmill in Iowa training for the Colorado Trail segments this summer ❤️🤟🏽❤️🥾🥾⛰🏕

Congratulations g on 600! That was tough section but really beautiful- lakes and streams thank you
I hope you all stay safe . Happy Trails.

These are old burn areas

@@wanderwomenkristyannette5021 Thanks!
Was just at Upper Crater Mdw (PCT-Reds Mdw resupply). Bear can outside. No prob w/bear or chipmunks.
I love the Sisters area for backpacking. I have used that same campsite that you were at on the last night!
600 Miles!! Wow!! Congratulations!! -- but you must hike faster to outpace Pesky!!! :)
Been to the quilt show. Cute town. Relax and eat. If you mail a box to the Cracker barrel at White Pass, my grandson usually takes the boxes up there from Yakima. Will you make it to Trail days? Love the hike videos.....
You always make me smile 😊
We are fans here in Colorado! We have been watching the incredible heat waves and hope your are doing okay.
Awesome... congrats on 600!!

I’ve biked up McKenzie pass. That lava rock must be hard to trudge thru
It was hot and hard on the feet but beautiful.
ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR NEXT VIDEO.

we sit it on the ground or rock and away from us. We haven't had a problem yet. In the great Divide Basin we hung them on fence posts or signs.
You three are troopers Supremo.
You are pretty sneaky Pesky!!🤣 Adorbs🤣💕
I'm just curious to how much your packs weigh? Lovely adventures.
25 pounds
Those blow downs are really a pain for sure! I hope you don't get too much of that! 😏 Keep going, hopefully not too hot! ATB Kaat 😀
I'm coming to Sister to visit with friends who have been evacuated. Let me know if you or you crew need anything. I'd be a happy trail angel
I think we are ok right now. But thank you so much for asking.
You're very welcome
Congrats on 💯💯💯💯💯💯!
Wow, that ended on TODAY!
Oh that Pesky! 🙄😝👏❤️🌞
It’s great to see you guys hiking together. How much do your packs weigh? I’m a newbie to backpacking; I’ve always loved to hike.
We try to keep our packs at 25 pounds or less.
I do plan on going back to watch old videos once I've caught up to the current hike, but can someone tell me if there's an origin of Pesky in the WW vids somewhere?

Love this we’ve been to Sisters.
Hikers always talk about bear canisters, maybe you need chipmunk and deer canisters too😳😂
I also have farm fresh eggs from my chickens...I'll bring you some...
How heavy are your backpacks?
600 miles! Congratulations 👏
❤️
I'm in Tumalo, if you need a ride/trail magic, .....
Thank you.
Pesky is hilarious!
Did you wear spikes are your shoes when you crossed the snow patches?
No, we haven't needed them.
Yahoo !! 600 !!! :)
What’s the temperature where they are?
It's been in the 90s
