I am sure you are, but be careful in those caves. Make sure you have at least 3 light sources and some water. It's easy to get lost with no light. Also, if there are lots of turns, be sure to set up rock arrows to show you which turns to take to exit, and set them up so you can make them out in the dark.

I really love your videos. You seem like such a nice, wholesome person , unlike so many on UA-cam. Please keep making videos and please keep enjoying your adventures!

I live in Bend. It hardly ever rains in Central Oregon, so you just happened to come on one of the few. It does rain a ton in other areas of the state though.😊
The smell of Blockbuster will always been a scent memory for me haha, can't believe there is still one left! So cool, thanks for bringing us along on your adventures
I grew up in New England a long time ago. On some Sundays on our way home from church when my mother had not prepared anything for our lunch, we would stop at Friendly’s for a burger and a shake. In those days before they named it the Fribble, It was called the Awful Awful. I think that my parents had a lot of fun when they first explain to us the meaning of the name. It was given that designation because it was “awfully big and awfully good.” Ah, childhood memories.
We don't usually comment, but we DO watch all your videos...plus we always LIKE your videos...to show you our love. You are more of an adventurer and I am. I do NOT like caves, especially low hanging caves. I've gone spelunking...and tight spaces are not my thing. My wife doesn't mind them. She's a little taller than you, but I'm 6'1" and it just isn't my thing. BUT, saying that...we are glad that you are conquering your fears. Yes, Blockbuster. Watched thousands of movies from that company. So many memories. We didn't have a Friendlies near it, but we did have a Chinese Restaurant. So, we go the The Great Wall of China, order our food, then go get a few movies, come back and pick up our order, then head back home and have a grand time. Miss those days. Marie wanted me to send you a comment...to thank you for these beautiful adventures that we get to go on...with you. Thanks for sharing them with us. We truly appreciate your positive attitude and perspectives on life. Stay safe and have a LOT of fun. Talk to you, next time.
All that rain keeps my home state green and beautiful for much of the year...and you hit all that is great about Sisters, including your hike! Nice to see you enjoying your travels...

@@MyLocsareREAL You are so welcome!! I want to get into some of these Oregon scenic routes. Alot seem to be near BLM lands. My camper is my Ford Fusion so unfortunately it may be harder to find spots in the middle of nowhere but I am willing to try. It's worth a try right? Take care and keep us posted.
Sarah, you and Nikki may want to think about putting your key fobs in a Faraday pouch. They are an anti-theft device that block the signal to your fob. "A Faraday pouch is effectively a metal mesh inside a fabric or leather bag, and the layers of metal absorb the electrons being sent out by the key, stopping or greatly reducing their emission, and thus giving would-be thieves no signal to clone." They are inexpensive and offer great peace of mind. My friend's car was recently stolen in this way - and her fob was in her house! Happy, safe, travels!
Ten years older and just getting cuter. The camera loves you, as do we. Your videos are getting more and more interesting. Loved Sisters! Very cool town. Went from twenty families to three thousand people now. Love ya! 🥰
WEAR THE HAT!!!! It works as a bit of protection when there is a chance of bumping you head on low headroom areas. If you look a spelunkers, they wear hardhats when caving. Please be careful and do all you can to protect yourself, especially when soloing. Enjoying your videos. Be Well!! Enjoy Yourself!! Be Safe!!!
Honestly, you still look like 16! Enjoy the compliments. You're only young once. Good choice on the headlight. The caves are not high enough for bats to nest. Blockbuster was the place to be. We would wait in a crowd talking until someone brought a movie in.
Brave, I don't think I could do smaller caves like that, all I'd be thinking about is the movie Descent.Sponge Bob and Blockbuster at the same time?? Cool door handle to the coffee shop. Cascade pet?, no dog until July 4th.
Your video made me tear up. I'm an Oregonian living in Ohio and I'm unable to visit this year as I'm going through a crash course of being a first time mom. I recognized so much in your video but the funny part is I've driven through Sisters so many times, but never stopped. It was so nice to see it through your explorations and I cannot wait to stop there in the future. Thank you for sharing your adventures!
Hey Sarah! Congrats on the new channel. Our family enjoys both Nikki and your adventures. Question for you. Where did you find your window coverings? We have been inspired!
You should look into something called a bump cap insert. It's just a hard shell insert for your baseball caps. Protects your head from bumps like you did on that Fisher.
The Oregon coast is super beautiful, different from the CA coast imo. Maybe invest in some kind of helmet or head protection if you're going to be hiking in areas where overhead obstacles can potentially hurt you. A cap especially with the bill in front is going to be a liability. You don't want a concussion to ruin a day of fun. Nice editing and views. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the adventure and inspiration, your smile and energy are an awesome combination, I look forward to all your upcoming vids, nikkis too, stay safe wish you the best🙏

When and if you go back down to southern Oregon, since you mentioned ice cream, you have to go to the Cheese factory in Bandon Oregon and get a scoop! They were always so huge you couldn’t finish a double scoop. If you eat clam chowder there’s also a place near the water in Bandon that is really popular. I just moved about a year ago. I miss it so much! If you go up to Pleasant Hill, Oregon, there’s an amazing coffee shop right off the highway in the Dairy Mart parking lot. Safe travels Sarah! I adore your channel. Much love ❤️ ✌🏻
Love Smith Rock State Park... Way back in the day we used to be able to ride our quads on some trails back behind Smith Rock Park, of course that was a long time ago and you are no longer able to ride in that area. And many many years ago when I was a little kid when my dad took his 1 week vacation we would go to Scout Lake (just West of Sisters) and spend the week camping & swimming, then we would drive into Sisters to the dime store and get a little souvenir!! Sarah, if you are heading into Washington state make a stop at Mount St. Helens. I was there in the late 80s and it was eye opening to how much of the mountain and surrounding area was destroyed by the blast. It would be cool to see how it has change since my visit.
Ice? I mean for $179 bucks you can get one of those BougeRV cooler refrigerator/freezer's that only use like 35 watts. I think a 100 amp-hour mini LiFePo4 battery (about $300 bucks) will run the fridge for like 3 to 4 days before you have to charge the battery for 5 hours (can be done with a little 400 watt pure sine inverter plugged into your cigarette lighter while you drive). I think the BougeRV cooler fridge has a chill setting from 50 degrees all the way down to -7 degrees. They work great, especially if you want to have ice cream in the summer or whatever.
