Just bought it for PS5. Looks great! Buying games months after release or even over a year is completely normal for me. These days I always assume games are broken on release.
When i turned 16 and got my first job i use to buy the games i wanted at release. Now it seems like every game i buy have been out for a year or so, even tho I was interested in the game before launch. I'm with you, I feel like I get a better first experience once a game has been ironed out by the public. I think cyberpunk 2077 was what did it in for me.
So they did patch most of it? I have kinda bad specs (gtx 1070) and it runs 60 fps smooth ish on high graphics, always wondered why people said it ran terribly on high specs. I did just start really playing it like 3 weeks ago so
and i just finished it, with my 4090, and i can, no. Its terrible. At times i can see white screen for a moment before textures load. I can see texture and shadows poping in. I can see jagged edges and all DLSS artifacts despite having it turned off. I cannot maintain a stable 60 fps with rtx off and dlss off on 2k. This is absurd.
I wish publishers would get hit with a class action so that a precedent could be set that if the product itself is defective at launch they can’t sell it at full retail price or have to refund a portion of day 1 purchasers money based on the amount of time it takes to be fixed
Great game. You should also mention the humorous banter among the enemies which is a nice touch. Often, I'd stop and listen to their hilarious dialogues before entering into combat. But it took my powerful RTX 4070 for it to run like butter and even then, had to be in performance mode to remove the tiniest of microstutters. I hope they do better in terms of performance with the third game.
Is it worth it ?! It’s on steam winter sale right now . I got a 4090. And I hear people still have trouble . So I never bought it . I also have a ps5 but I would rather get it on my pc
Tbh I bought it on Steam for 17€ and I'm playing it on the Steam Deck. It says on Steam that the game is not playable on the Deck, but I'm 25h in and it works just fine! Not the best graphics, obv, but still pretty to look at and definitely playable. Worth it, for me!
just finished the game on ps5 on hardest difficulty and i liked it the only thing holding it back was that it still felt as janky as the prequel. Multiple times clothes or random items would start twitching. For example sometimes when I flew to a different planet Greez and Merrin would just be in a t pose for a bit until going back to a regular pose which is just a shame. Dont get me started on some of the bosses. In conclusion the game is good but its just held back by its bugs.
My only and I mean ONLY complaint of this game is that there is no meditation training, having no challenge mode or combat simulation mode really robs my experience because I slog through the story trying to perfect combat when before I mastered combat in the simulation then I ran through Jedi GM , it’s a great game but idk if imma touch that mode until they add the simulation via update 😢
I love this game. While it runs alright on console, it still runs poorly on PC(4080 super, I9 14900K, 32GB Ram) At this point I think it’s never getting fixed. It’s such a shame.
@@NextGameUp_ It’s definitely improved a lot on PC since launch but it still suffers from several performance issues. Most notable is poor frame rate in certain areas and texture compilation stutter.
I've got like 80 hours in and probably 70% completed. How did you do it in 25? Though a lot of my hours is just looking at the environments and map, trying to get places. and backtracking. You can unlock the map where it shows all chests (can't remember where I found that now). Only as a last resort do I look up hints online, actually only 2 times has it proved useful as like you mentioned, you often don't have the upgrade you need at the time. I don't consider it a spoiler to say don't even try to explore too much unless and until you unlock use of the air buoys. Also so glad I picked this up after patch 9 for PC. Had I purchased this at any time before patch 9, I'd have been upset for sure. ...and this thing is not optimized even w/patch 9... it should have launched like this; to be fair it still needs a few patches on PC.
I love puzzles. I felt like this game was made for me, lol. But everyone else seem to hate it. I guess that's why they make so few games with puzzles these days.
I think puzzle games are eh at best, kinda just tedious for no real reason. Imo a lot of the puzzles also involve coming back later on which just makes them more annoying
I just started playing the game after having unintentionally ignoring the game since release. Plays brilliantly, story isnt incredible but gameplay, movement and combat are fantastic. Looking forward to the sequel.
9.5/10 game for me.Love the game to, it did what i wanted jedi fallen order to do, i hope next game has sith cosmetics and jedi robe and mandalorian black lightsaber.
It's a 9/10 for me on PC. Gotta knock it down a point for having shit optimization. I have a beastly PC and can run every other game maxed out, but on Jedi Survivor I have to go on low settings with all features turned off to be playable.
6 hours in and this game is BORING AF to me. Also doesnt feel like star wars. I know thats subjective but playing a character i know very little about in landscapes that are dry and boring just isnt appealing. When i think of star wars i think of Jedi, x wings and tie fighters, empire/rebellion and so forth.... If anything, this is definitely a me problem but i just wish we had more games that actually feel like star wars. Almost forgot about the platforming....lol yeah cause wall running and climbing is something i look forward to in a star wars game....
I got the game recently it plays well no performance issues but I'm going to be honest with you the pivot to the open world sucks. They have Cal dying from drop he would've survived in the first game. The rumors suck and honestly feel like time wasters especially the gardening, fishing and the pyloon Saloon crap same goes for Jedha. I prefer fallen order's level design over. Thanks for calling out the clunky feeling in the combat. It's clear the devs prioritized difficulty at the expense of a more emersive jedi experience. Enemies also seem to spam unblockables like the electro hammer guys from the bedlam raiders. The puzzles aren't difficult but they get tedious in this one. All in all I prefer the old level design over planets like Jedha or Koboh.
The game has it moments, performace sucks on nvidia, cant turn off dlss, texture and shadow popins, but thats not the worse part... the combat is just annoying and the plot at times is just moronic. Let me give you an example. At 70% point of the game, a non force user tries to get away from 3 experienced jedi, to make it harder to chase him, he throws a grenade... and it works. By that time, you, the player have forced pushed away hundred of grenades... One might argue that this is a detail, but it sure does kick me out of immersion. I detest writing where competent characters stop being competent when the script requires, and then they continue being competent.
Thanks for the comment, I do wish the combat would have been a better improvement over Fallen Order. I exclusively played the game of PS5 and while the performance was originally abysmal (legit the worst ive personally experienced) it was much better during my play through
The year 2024 , graphics the year 2000 , it's sad. It's like the whole game industry is stuck on a certian game engine. How many years we gonna see these blurry games..
I cant believe people are still buying games on release without watching a review. Youre letting these companies sell you unfinished products with framerate and glitch problems and you're telling them its ok 😂

It’s $17 right now too, I bought it as well. So wikd
every game is launched in early access. whether or not they finish it depends on how well it sales.
Unfortunately true these days
Im in 24 hours of gameplay of jedi survivor all i can say that the performance mode of jedi survivor are now great.
Yup, wayyyyy better than when the game launched.

That's a relief I got the game recently but haven't played it yet. I played the first one and it was great, I'm sure this one will be also.

@@mac19999xyeah you aren’t alone. What kind of cpu do you have?

I bought day one and waited until this review to actually play it after it was so bad on launch.
They would make it so ppl gotta wait to buy it then
Helpful review. I just picked it up for $18 on Steam.
Glad it was helpful thanks for watching!
£9 on Xbox!! Couldn't say no lol

Really? I was doing some research while making this video and read that performance had improved on PC as well
@@NextGameUp_ It’s definitely improved a lot on PC since launch but it still suffers from several performance issues. Most notable is poor frame rate in certain areas and texture compilation stutter.
Had this backlogged until now. So far it’s awesome!!! Glad I waited for the patches. GREEZ is my guy 😂😂😂
One of my favorite characters as well - and is definitely improved a ton since k release (at least on consoles)

I personally didn’t go for 100% completion, I was doing a main story push

@berserker5551 as I said it's a matter of opinion. It's not tedious if you like using your brain, not just clicking enemies to death
I was looking for a recent review bc i want to give it a try now. Thanks
Glad you liked it, thank you!
Hi. Can I play this game on my i7 7700 3,6GHz, gtx1060 6GB and 16GB RAM?

Good balanced review I find :)
It even gave me the itch of playing it again XD
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

That seems to be the common theme, it has more trouble running on really high end PCs compared to mid / lower end?
What's your pc specs? Im playing on epic settings but using dlss quality. Getting around 70-90fps
6 hours in and this game is BORING AF to me. Also doesnt feel like star wars. I know thats subjective but playing a character i know very little about in landscapes that are dry and boring just isnt appealing.

Platforming was definitely overkill for me as well.

7-7.5/10 game ps5 grandmastrr difficulty

To be fair they’ve worked on the blurriness a lot but yeah it was a total mess when it first released.
