@XDOX XD You are wrong, the Hindustani vocabulary, also know as Hindi-Urdu vocabulary is the language developed during the Sultanate. It's is after a certain time that Hindi was born when we replaced all the Arabic scriptures with Sanskrit script and words from Hindi-Urdu. And Urdu too is a beautiful language. Most of the Hindi songs are not written in Hindi, but is written in Urdu.

Pakistan initiated 4 wars and China attacked India in the past. America was ready to give nuclear weapons to terrorist nation of Pakistan but never wanted India to have it. So Indians developed their own nuclear weapons under the supervision of Dr kalam without American help.
But still we tested it on Indian soil. Never attacked any nation, never invaded any nation. Even the current surgical strike and balakot air strike was executed in Pakistan occupied Kashmir which is Indian territory.

In fact, it was after the Prime Minister of India Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee(Late) announced it publicly the US & World came to know about it. If my memory serves me correct then it took US a few more days to confirm that it was indeed a Nuclear tests which India conducted.
Additionally, India conducted 2nd round of Nuclear tests again on 13th May, 1998.
It was ISRO's duty to lookout for the US spy satellite that's why it was easy for India to know the position of the satellite & allowed to perform the tests.

And It's pretty common here in cities to throw in random english sentences in between Hindi conversations.
Even in rural areas, people use random english words in conversations.

Parmanu means Atom in Sanskrit and by extension in the Hindi language.

India's first nuclear test happened in 1974, after which US and the West established protocols like Nuclear Suppliers Group etc. to stop India from achieving more capabilities.
So, India did more tests again in 1998 to send a strong message. The test in 1998 included thermonuclear devices as well.
Hope Trinity feels better soon. India is the 2nd largest English speaking country after USA(it's a fact that is usually forgotten by other countries). Actually Ma'am in Indian education system English is "almost" compulsory along with learning at least 2 more Indian languages . Almost everyone here can understand a bit of English even if they don't study it. You have to observe Indians talking among themselves to see how fast we switch between 2 to 3 languages very naturally cause that's normal for us.(in my case it's 4 languages).India has a lot of diversity so English helps us get a common medium. Higher education is almost entirely English too. Friends and coworkers mostly talk in English if not in native language.
@ Rachel, most Indians can talk English fluently, its a compulsory language in our schools!! Why? Hihihi!! Coz we were once colonized by the British, hence they left with our wealth and we kept their language!! And cricket too, which we play better than them!!😀

Yes most of us speak hinlish that's is Hindi and English together.... It's kinda cool but ... Cause of that most of us have forgotten our root language.... We've forgotten certain words .... When come across ... We don't know the meaning of it.... We are so into speaking English .... that we can't do without throwing English words in any conversation .... That being said I fear that one day our mother tongue will he history!!!!............

Many of us are multilingual in india
Yeah thats how we talk, for example, My mother's from Kerela(Malayalam Speaking), dad's from tamil nadu (Tamil speaking). Was born and studied until junior high in Mumbai (Marathi & Hindi speaking region of india) and then my High school in Bangalore (Kannada speaking region) and we grew up learning English in school. So you could hear my family talking in malayalam and then switch to tamil a moment later, followed by Hindi or Kannada wen we go down to the store and English just visits at regular intervals. Imagine the useage of 5 differnt languages in a day, somtimes even in a single conversation, just because some words in a different language may help us better express what we mean, to ts full extend.

Guys a lot of school in India we have english as a primary language and hindi is our secondary language. So we are very good in English, not so much in pronunciation but our grammar is pretty damn good. Also British did rule us for more than 200 years.

That's why you see it reflected in movies too. In fact at 130 million English speakers, India has the second largest English speaking population in the world.

India first performed a nuclear explosion in 1974 as a deterrent to China. The explosion was intended to tell the world that India could weaponize this technology if it wanted. 1974 was just one crude nuclear device.
But the Chinese responded by giving their nukes and missiles to Pakistan. Meanwhile, US turned a blind eye to this. However US was determined to not let India test its nuclear weapons. So we were effectively asked to sit still even though our Archnemisis Pakistan was developing nukes with Chinese help. That is when India decided that the 1974 signal to the world had failed and hence India decided to create nuclear weapons. In 1998, despite US pressure, India tested nuclear weapons. This movie is about that operation. After that, Pakistana also tested its nuclear weapons. Later, India declared its nuclear policy which stated that:-
1) No-First Use: India would not use nuclear weapons upon a country unless that country attacked India first by nuclear weapons.
2) Massive Retaliation: In the event that an aggressor country does hit India with nuclear weapons, India would pull all stops and respond with all its nuclear weapons.
FYI, India and China are the only two countries with a No-First Use policy on nukes. USA, regrettably, is not amongst these countries even though it has witnessed the effects of its own use of nukes on Japan.
