I think Americans didn’t know much about Asia in general back in the day , indians are the most peaceful people imo and Indians always got pushed around by China and Pakistan because they never retaliate and follow peaceful philosophies.

Lmao India was never pushed around by Pakistan. Every time they attacked India they got their asses handed back to them. In fact, we split their country into two (and created Bangladesh in the process) and held over 93,000 captives of Pakistan army. 😂
We only lost indo china war because of our prime minister's peaceful ways and because he held back our navy and airforce to avoid the escalation of the conflict and we have already seen what guys like Osama can do. Pakistan never stands a chance against India and so it uses terrorist attacks but now the times have changed India is no longer passive and our country no longer tolerates any harm to its citizens or its interests

Had Homi Jahangir Bhabha, the nuclear scientist, not died in an aeroplane accident, india would have a upper hand in nuclear power plant technology much earlier, he was such an extraordinary and visionary scientist.
There is a famous hindi poem by Ramdhari Singh Dinakar. In it he states that if a strong man forgives then it makes sense and is effective. He uses the analogy of toothless poison-less snake. Whether such a snake forgives you or attacks you makes no difference. So India has to ge strong and nuclear then it can talk about peace and it will be respected and heard.

I have enjoyed the video as its a recap to those events which had made the history.
I remember being in Washington DC for 4th of July celebrations when a tense looking Nawaz Sharif - then PM of Pakistan - was due to meet Pres Clinton. Will never forget the look of desperation and helplessness on his face as he walked out of the White House - no doubt empty handed. In any case, love you guys for being so supportive of India. We should be proud that we (you and I) belong to two like minded and proud nations.
