I made these for supper today and they are delicious. Mine look exactly like Kim's. Just follow the recipe. I was used to making this type of dumpling before I was diagnosed with Celiac. If you miss pizza try her pan pizza it's just as good as any regular kind. Think I'll try the chic fill a sandwich next. Thank you so much for all you do! 💛

Thank you so much! Most GF chicken and dumpling recipes are the biscuit style, and that's just not what I grew up eating. I'm so glad to know there is a way to make the southern dumplings gluten free!

Is there a good substitute for the whey powder in your GF blend. I can't have dairy either.

There are substitution suggestions on the recipe page, but this recipe uses my all purpose blend, which doesn't use whey protein (although it does use milk powder, but there are subs for that as well).

I'd like to hear if you found a good substitute. I have recently discovered a dairy allergy/intolerance that I just can't get around and all of Kim's recipes use butter. Love you, Kim. I'm trying to try alternatives because your recipes are awesome!!!
