Wild Camping in The lake District | Is This The Best Camp Spot?
In this video myself and a couple of mates head for a night on Helvellyn. The plan is to head from Glenridding car park up onto Striding Edge and then find a camp spot. I have already camped in this spot before so I knew exactly where I was going. For me this is one of my favourite spots as the views overlooking Striding Edge and onto Ullswater are breath taking. We pitched up in the clag but was treated to a beautiful sunrise in the morning. Just like that its time to pack up and head back to the car. You know the score, take your s*** with you. We headed up to the summit and then down Swirral Edge. Then straight into the valley all the way back to Glenridding. I hope you’ve enjoyed this one as much as we did and ill see you on the next one.
