As an AuDHDer, totally understand the issues with visual processing Steph was talking about. It especially happens in familiar environments, where your brain processes kinda what it's "supposed" to look like instead of what it actually looks like and just blocks out what isn't supposed to be there. It happens to drivers too, it's why people in cars often still hit motorcyclists who are in CLEAR view, cause without their consent, their brain decided the visual information of this small fast moving object was insignificant compared to everything else around them and just didn't process it. It affects how I see my environment as well to a point where I don't see mess? What helps me see it is of I catch the reflection of my room in the mirror or I accidentally open my camera/see the rest of the room through a camera and I just go "oh." (side note, as a kid, I hated this movie cause I hated Woody 😂😂)
Gotta say, I always thought Woody was only trying to knock Buzz behind the drawers so he could go to pizza planet instead, never had the impression that he wanted him left behind 🤔

That was my take too since this was his immediate reaction to the eight ball telling him Andy wouldn’t pick him to go to Pizza Planet. Get Buzz out of the way for just a moment so Andy would have to pick him and find Buzz later.
Even without the knowledge of the toys being sentient, Sid is still a psycopathic kid, jumping around on Pizza Planet machines when he's not winning, setting off explosions in the backyard that not only are loud and shake the ground but could cause damage to neighboring houses. not to mention the fire hazards, and stealing his little sister's toy doll and replacing its head with a pterodactyl head and scaring her. These are not the actions of a normal pre teen boy

Great review. As for sleeping positions both my brother and sister would wind up in Sid's odd sleeping position almost every night. Supposedly, I slept that way as a toddler but grew out of it by the time I was 4 but my siblings were doing it up to middle school. And my step-daughter slept in even odder positions right up to high school. When I saw it in the movie I laughed out loud cause it runs in my family, lol. Guess we're kinda odd. Amazing how we were so impressed with this movie when it came out and now the animation looks goofy. But the details on the toys of my childhood and how they would move that way if they were sentient was incredible at the time. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
You know, in another movie Sid would have gone to become an engineer or sculptor or something like that. The kid had a good eye for creating creepy stuff, and for all he knew he literally was just a kid playing with toys that were meant to play with. Like, here in youtube there is plenty of channels that are literally all about destroying old toys in order to make something new. The kid just needed som parental guide and maybe someone who taught him to use his violent impulses for good.
Thomas Sanders and BrizzyVoices have done videos sorting Disney characters into Hogwarts Houses, and Woody was placed into Slytherin, and I think thats very accurate.
My little sister had an amazing pair of Buzz and Woody dolls. They were A+ quality (and Buzz's helmet did the whoosh thing) I always get sad thinking on how we got rid of them 🥲
There are all kinds of laws in the US about fireworks...depending on what state you're in. Getting around those laws and/or their being enforced...that's a whole other discussion.
Exactly! Yah we are not supposed to use them in city limits but do we actually listen to those rules? No lol it’s enforced kinda like littering, if a cop sees you doing it or you get caught you are fined but if no one catches you it’s not like someone can start a case against you for suspicion of using them you have to be caught in the action or with illegal fireworks.
My daughter is 10 and sleeps like Sid sometimes. I didn't think it was something that anyone but babies did. LOL I remember thinking, "People actually do sleep like that. Hmm."
I still remember "Short people" by Randy Newman in Little Rascals and as an adult... who let them use that song in that movie lmao? 🤣 Also Object Permeance is tricky devil, lost soo many drinks because I couldn't tell where they were at.
Allegedly, the reasoning behind Woody not having a gun (despite being a sheriff) was something to do with handling a serious situation without resorting to violence.
28:52 - So, I don’t think either of you remember the ending. I have watched all 4 Toy Stories. Zurgs identity is revealed in #2 and it is NOT BUZZ. 😂- actually all 4 of these films are extremely consistent and show amazing character growth. It is EXTREMELY rare to hear that someone didn’t like the ending of any of the films 😂
Playing with magnifying glasses is fun if you have the right kind. If you take out the lens behind the screen of big screen tvs you can use it to make a solar death ray. I've done it 😅
20:25 - in the 90s or maybe early 2000s we had a toy "skateboard" that was smaller than size of a hand, it was a popular toy for one season. Not relevant, I have just remembered it lol. Search for "fingerboard", you will see what I mean. What a nostalgy haha
Joss Whedon did this screenplay??? Huh. Explains a few things for me. This was before Buffy, right? Goes to show I never cared about the credits. In other news I couldn’t draw s**t with an etch-a-sketch

Can’t wait to see what you do next but i’m hoping you do Toy Story 2 next because that’s legit a fantastic sequel ❤️❤️❤️
You guys are one the funniest Aussies I’ve ever seen. Whenever I start my own UA-cam channel, I’d love to do a movie reaction with you guys. I don’t know how it works, but nevertheless keep taking my thoughts and words out of my head and mouth. Movie request:
She’s the man
Kingsman the secret service
All about the Benjamin’s
Step up
Expendables
Thanks so much, we appreciate that 😊
Honestly, doing this kind of thing can be difficult, but if you do decide to start, I don't mind giving you some tips when the time comes.
As for the movie choices, only she's the man and step up would work for our channel and they both have copyright issues we don't really want to deal with (due to the production companies being Universal and Dreamworks) - Sam
14:39 I can't answer the second part, but when he's still in the spaceship, the 2nd movie answers that. I'll put a spoiler warning just in case:

Other Buzz explains they're all in hypersleep until they're woken up.
There are two types of kid: the one who doesn’t care for the alien slime drink, and the one who NEEDS it! I was the latter
Woody wanted to temporarily trap Buzz for the night so he could be chosen for pizza planet. Not trap him forever
I love the little aliens they are so cute and funny😊
True 😋 - Sam
They were A+ quality (and Buzz's helmet did the whoosh thing) I always get sad thinking on how we got rid of them 🥲
27:45 It's interesting Woodys worst fear is to be a lost toy compared to what happens in Toy Story 4. Character development!
I happened to be on a Disney cruise when this premiered! They had guys dressed up like G.I. Joes and other characters! Core memory!
You've got a friend in me 🚀🤠
My daughter is 10 and sleeps like Sid sometimes. I didn't think it was something that anyone but babies did. LOL I remember thinking, "People actually do sleep like that. Hmm."
Petition for Stef to get that skull T shirt and cosplay as Sid for Halloween?
I still remember "Short people" by Randy Newman in Little Rascals and as an adult... who let them use that song in that movie lmao? 🤣 Also Object Permeance is tricky devil, lost soo many drinks because I couldn't tell where they were at.
If it hasn’t been mentioned, the legs on a fishing pole toy was a joke. A Hooker.
Totally missed that. Good pickup 👌😊 - Sam
Amazing review as always, next up: Isn’t It Romantic. That rom-com gave me such good laughs.
Thanks so much, we appreciate it 😊 Next up is The Maze Runner tho ✌️ - Sam
Ayeee, that's good too. Can't wait!!!
They were my Jack and Rose (We're flying!)
In the 90s it was fairly easy to get fireworks but nowadays the regulations are much more vigorous.
Allegedly, the reasoning behind Woody not having a gun (despite being a sheriff) was something to do with handling a serious situation without resorting to violence.
you cousin sleeps like that too!! she has three kids and one of them sleeps like that too LOL
Stef's referring to the Lightyear movie in which Zurg is Buzz - Sam
grew up watching it and love it
I should’ve made ‘Toy Story’ my entire personality and I’m sorry I didn’t. I grew up in the golden age of Disney and Pixar.
honestly my favorite series as a kid. still love these movies to this day.
TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!
47:13 Rebecca Sugar wrote both a song and a character inspired by a toy she lost and couldnt find for a while
Now I understand why I can look at something, know that I need it, but don’t grab it. Maybe I can’t process that sometimes.
Playing with magnifying glasses is fun if you have the right kind. If you take out the lens behind the screen of big screen tvs you can use it to make a solar death ray. I've done it 😅
The third movie was the best one I cry every time 😅 and toy story 4 was so unnecessary
Hope you guys eventually do Toy Story 3. In my opinion it’s the best one
First one here for one of my favorites of all time 🥰
Glad you're hyped for this one 😊 - Sam
6:08 🤪 Woody 🤣
You guys have GOT to watch Soul! Idk if it’s on the list of upcoming reactions or not but I’ll be front row when it’s dropped!😂
20:25 - in the 90s or maybe early 2000s we had a toy "skateboard" that was smaller than size of a hand, it was a popular toy for one season. Not relevant, I have just remembered it lol. Search for "fingerboard", you will see what I mean. What a nostalgy haha
Wow the start was crazy 😂 I was actually in the hospital last night for labored breathing with the flu
He was even worse in the original draft.
Joss Whedon did this screenplay??? Huh. Explains a few things for me. This was before Buffy, right? Goes to show I never cared about the credits. In other news I couldn’t draw s**t with an etch-a-sketch
37:29 😅😂😂
Hmm the notification I got had a different title 😂😂
Yeah, if the video is ranked dead last out of our last 10 videos, something has to change. I thought the title was funny, but I suppose not everyone agreed 😅🤷♂️ - Sam
i used to sleep butt in the air like that all the time as a kid lol
