UA-camd the fault that has plagued us for a year. Your thumbnail showed a piece of plastic we found a year ago and hand no idea where it came from 😂. Thank you sir!
OH MAN THAT WAS THE MOST HELPFUL, EASY TO ASK AND FIND THE ANSWER ON UA-cam I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! I FOUGHT WITH THAT LITTLE YELLOW THING FOR TWO DAY!!!! SO THANK MUCH 🎉
Thank you for your helpful advice. Without the yellow plug, the pump drains okay at the start, but begins to cavitate uselessly as the water level reduces.
The plug is removed so you can insert your finger (with the power cord unplugged) and turn the pump impeller to see if it is jammed with debris. It may resist turning every half turn due to the magnetism of the motor. If you can turn it one or more complete turns it's probably OK. Reinstall the plastic plug. If the water pumps out OK then the pump is good, and an error code is probably due to the pressure switch or a switch port blockage, IanB
The other bit he pointed at with the hose is where the pressure sensor is. If it's full of good and gunk it would work. Clear out the rubbish and any debris from all 3 holes (inlet + pressure sensor + outlet) .
I just ordered this yellow plug as a spare part and I am running my first cycle with it now. Do you know what the plug does and why it fixes the problem?

The advise were helpful! The broken part of the mug prevented the wheel from rotating.

Do you know if debris can get past the impeller and cause a grinding sound when the dishwasher is just beginning its cycle after being turned on?
Fixed mine with this video - THANKS!
