  • Welcome everyone on this flight on my Singapore bound flight on Singapore Airlines.
First of six flights during June/July 2023 en-route to Tokyo, Japan. The Singapore Airlines A380-800 has made a triumphant return to Melbourne, albeit just temporarily. Due to strong headwinds, we added hour and 30 minutes more of flying time which had made me quite anxious for my connection to Tokyo-Haneda in Singapore. After thinking I would never ride an A380-800 again in my lifetime, it was a joy to see this whale jet come back to Melbourne. Join me to see how Singapore Airlines' on their revamped cabins (pre-COVID) up to Singapore.
Additionally, I have been trying some different work on the graphics and film sequences :) Trying to mix them up a bit more.
Also just a little note, from 2024, I will not be featuring Singapore Airlines flights from Melbourne - Singapore / Singapore - Melbourne on Economy Class. This is due to my feeling that I have showcased everything there is to showcase in Economy Class on these sectors. Never fret, I will be showing a video now and again if I deem that particular flight has interesting things happen or if there is a change in cabin product/service.
Come and join me on this 8 hour and 30 minute journey across to Singapore.
    Enjoy!

Singapore airlines pre-covid used to offer two full meals on this flight length. Now just one main meal service and a snack

Hi there! yes, sadly this has become the norm now for most major airlines. The Singapore - Melbourne sector was well catered for pre-covid. Here's hoping for more improvements for SIA in the future in catering.
