- Welcome everyone on this flight on my Singapore bound flight on Singapore Airlines.
1st of 6 flights during September/October 2023. Normally, Singapore Airlines has shown consistently great service, especially when it comes to the crew and I always get a great level of consistent service from the crew.
Unfortunately, Singapore Airlines crew missed the mark on this particular flight to Singapore. Not one crew member smiled or greeted me on board, while having no problem greeting those of a specific "demographic". They also were snappy when I was choosing my meal, being quite abrupt when serving it and then ignoring me as I got off the plane, but again had no problem greeting those of a specific demographic and appearance.
On a brighter note, this marks the first time I've ever been on the same aircraft, same airline and in the same seat, albeit on a different leg. So definitely a key moment in my aviation journey!

Thanks so much for your continued support! :) Yes, this was not the best Singapore Airlines flight I've taken and unfortunately the main reason was the crew on this sector.
It was great to take their long haul A350-900! Much better than the cramped regional ones they now regularly send down to Melbourne!
I'm sorry you got unlucky with this set of SQ crew. I guess no airline is 100% perfect. Anyway, still a great trip report, thanks for sharing!🤩

Had no problem greeting those of a specific demographic and appearance - No surprise on this as its a fact! I remembered I had trouble putting my luggage into the overhead cabin and the CA standing nearby refused to help me. Upon seeing a certain race easily putting his luggage into the overhead cabin, she rushed to help him. Its natural that I lodged a complaint against her the moment I reached back SG.
I took the same plane in March but it was a early morning flight at 4am lol But had to switch aircrafts due to a malfunction in the system so got delayed for 2 hours 😭 But I think a day flight is much better than a red eye flight

Gosh, I never enjoy a 4am flight! Oh no, I hope that your flight was good though! Definitely a day flight for me, but i would take any red eye for better connections :)

It makes no sense to serve dinner on such a late night departure. They should do a little snack and then serve a full breakfast near arrival

I think it does make sense because people would’ve missed their dinner, due to showing up 3 hours before the flight and leaving for the airport even before that.
