    The thing I love about Casey is that he doesn't need a pre-written script memorized to be able to speak with an audience in such an engaging way. If I had to talk for 25 minutes on a stage full of people, I'd probably talk about my entire life within 10 minutes.

    I've been watching Casey for about a month religiously. I've been extremely active on UA-cam for about year prior, and during that time I refused to watch Casey because I simply thought he was some generic vlogger that capitalized on YT's early success with a few cleverly timed cliche's.But, I then took Phillip Defranco's advise and watched one of his "movies", and after that I found myself watching his early YT videos and finding the vlogging playlist to start at number #1. Casey is bringing out the creative side of me that I buried half a decade ago. And has single handily became my biggest inspiration. I could meet the president and shake it off as no big deal, but if I met Casey I think I would be speechless. I think I admire his stride for efficiency and how he seems to sacrifice sleep to continue holding himself to such a high standard. I'm not sure if vlogging is in my future, I would love to, but what ever is I really hope I can find a standard for myself and hold it religiously. So yea, thanks for taking the time to do a Tedx talk my dude! Please keep doing you brother.

      Abraham Esparza Haha just like life. Our lives are not scripted or planned, that's how you know his movies are so genuine and real because he doesn't plan most of them, life leads him and life leads his movies. That's why i think we all love Casey, he's an example of how great life can be to us

      +Abraham Esparza for vlogging its perfect, but for public speaking like this a little preparation never hurts.. imagine if Casey does vlogging but never edits his awkward boring bit out. Exactly like this.

    • @vickomf
      @vickomf 8 років тому +1

      +Abraham Esparza That's why he's last xD Unless you are the best public speaker with the brightest mind in the world to inspire and create a strong movement, everyone else should stick to the model of preparation. Even Martin Luther King wouldn't improvise his "I have a Dream Speech" to come off as an acceptable "lazy" guy, because that's what people project when they come on stage winging it. Sorry, not sorry.

By the way, the question you asked, "Want me to continue downing you ???" makes you seem like a younger individual. Who gets offended these days over a youtube comment? Okay, I'm done now.

      And yet every choice he made was a step down the path to where he is now. I think it's a testament to his drive (with a little luck thrown in for good measure). I've met a lot of people like him who didn't graduate highschool, never went to college, and yet went on to do things that many of us would envy. He saw his experiences as opportunities, rather than setbacks. While the rest of us are content riding the train, he decided he was going to be the one driving it.

      It was because he was speaking and being recorded at the same time so because of the speaker his voice was amplified and the sound comes later than it should because it has to be amped and travel to the speaker so than the audio is delayed although he said it before hand. Also its because they did a stupid thing to record him speaking live instead of having him have a audio speaker and record it directly from his voice instead of from the speakers. Done

      +Mule Onwheels As a subscriber to both, I would say it's because ted talk has sooo many different topics and about.. 2% are in interesting for me (there are very good all of them, I just don't have time/prioritize to see topics that I dont' feel relevant). But for Casey's video's I watch almost all of them because the they are short, funny and interesting.
