    The beast of the ESEE knives! One of the sharp blade right out of the box and one that stays sharp. The bow drill socket work well on this one as well! Great review brother!

    Hi Tac. I like your uploads. Informative, fun and to the point. You also have a voice that make me belive in what you are talking about. Like your voice and it suits this kind of program.( and that coming from a hetero guy) And you are hard testing the gear, and you are telling about cons and pros. Got to like that. And best of all, you are not selling your self out like a lot of other popular survaival youtubers do after they got some subscribers...... so, all in all. Please continue the Good work and upload videos to is all.

    I own the Esee 5 and agree with your review completely. I like mine so much I had a guy make me a custom dangler sheath for it. it truly is a beast, when it gets warmer I'll do a review on the stump a Destiny and I will test the tip to see if I can break it, thanks for another great review brother.

    Would love to see a review of this knife with a paracord wrap instead of the handle. A common gripe with this knife is the blocky handle. I have one and must admit the ergos on the handle could be better.

    I have two Esee 5"s and a 6...... Both are good blades.... I like my Bk 2 a little better because of the handle scale design.... I stripped the coating off the bk 2 and opted for micarta scales on it also..... The scale design on the Esee's are to skinny for my extra large hands, so the bk 2 is my favorite 5...... Thank you for sharing your thoughts and opinion on this blade, I appreciate it sir Tac

I love all my Esee's . And they hands down have the best warrany !!!!!! even if you snap it in half trying to pry open car door or what ever they will replace with NO QUESTIONS ASKED !!! That is only for the 1095 blades . Do u own any other Esee's

    I believe what sets this knife apart from the bk2 in its abilities is the difference in grind heights. I think the bk2's saber grind starts higher than the esee 5's. I have a bk2 and an esee 6 and love em both but the 5 keeps calling my name!!!! Love the vid. Take it easy playboy.

    • @johnnyeas1431
      @johnnyeas1431 2 роки тому

      Did you ever get the esee 5? And if you did, do you prefer the esee 5 over the bk2?
      The only reason im asking is because I'm getting ready to by either a esee 5 or a bk2. It's a hard choice because I like the tip more on the esee 5 but i like the steel more on the bk2.

    • @threeper7929
      @threeper7929 2 роки тому

      @@johnnyeas1431 I never did get the 5. I’m with you on the steel choice, Kabars Cro-van in my opinion is a better steel. I used my bk14 and an esee 3 to dress a deer I had shot and the esee dulled way before the bk14. So that sealed the deal on esee knives for me.

    • @marcrhodes7177
      @marcrhodes7177 7 років тому

      Great blade design on the surge but the sheath......has a dangerous flaw. if you grab the sheath to draw it out it has a notch on the blade side that the index finger wants to naturally fall into. pull the knife out that way and sever your finger! I almost severed my finger and caught myself in the nick of time! otherwise it's a lot of power in a small package. single purpose. self defense not chopping wood. needs a custom sheath no prob.
