I have been watching almost since the beginning, when you were redoing furniture in your parents' garage to pay down your student loan debt. I have love watching you grow and stretch your potential in your new career! I don't understand this video at all! You have a wonderful personality and your teacher personality comes out, as you explain what you are doing and why you do the steps that you do. Today's video was so boring! I am like several here and just fast forwarded to the end to see the finished product. I hope you go back to your original format! Your personality is so fun to watch! In this video, I felt like you were mad or something! Keep doing what you do! I look forward to your videos!!

I totally agree. I felt like she was mad or upset about something, not like her at all. And the scraping and scratching sounds drove me crazy. I almost left the video as soon as I saw the paint color. But then fast forwarded to the end. How can you take a beautiful antique and paint it that color. My opinion, total fail. I hope she goes back to being Lauren!

Same. She said that UA-cam isn’t giving them the income it once was. It’s because the content changed. Such a bummer. I only found this channel about 6 months ago and went back and watched all the old videos and looked forward to the new ones. It’s been so disappointing lately. Especially the lives. They are too scattered. I really like Neiman but he can’t stay on point and thinks it’s fun to add suspense. Maybe others like it, but I end up turning it off. I hope they get back to the old formats. I really do enjoy seeing them work together.

You and Neiman have such fantastic personalities and it is always such a joy to watch and HEAR you both speak throughout your videos. I always get so excited whenever one of your new videos pops up! You have amazing skills as well and bring so much knowledge to you viewers. This knowledge is taught by speaking to us all. I have watched many UA-cam content providers and it always amazes me how some of them who have insanely high subscriber and view numbers are not always the ones with the best expertise in the topic that their channel is about. The reason they have an amazing amount of followers is due to their awesome personalities.
You are very blessed to not only have a fabulous personality, you also have amazing knowledge about Furniture Flipping and great skills as well. In your past videos, the way that you speak to your viewers is outstanding. We are sure to learn more information every time that we watch you. I personally cannot stand ASMR and like some other commenters have stated, it definitely sounds like hearing nails on a chalkboard. The vibe from this video made me feel like you could possibly be depressed, sad, angry, resentful, bitter etc... If so, I totally get it and I am so sorry for what you may be going through at this time in your life. 😥 I pray 🙏 that things get better very soon for you and am really hoping that your video format goes back to being like the MUCH happier times. I really miss hearing your beautiful voices in this video. I wish you both the VERY best! 🥰

Hi love, your videos and the way you explain everything I have an old secretary that solid wood. It’s been in my family for 80 years and I don’t wanna throw it out. The problem is it’s in a bedroom and I can’t move it to sand if I just wipe it cleanreally well can I just put a primer and paint it? I can’t get it out of the room. It’s too heavy and I can’t sand it in the room. I would love your opinion because I want to keep it. Thank you.

Teachers naturally talk and teach about what they are doing, it's normal for us to do it, especially if youre a teacher of the little ones.
If people don't like it they can mute and watch their own silent movies.

Maybe a stupid question and maybe you spoke about it before but I was wondering, why use a brush instead of a roller? Isn’t it going to look better and smoother with a roller? I know that for some details and corners and stuff a brush is easier but the bigger surfaces look like they take a lot of time and maybe leave brush strokes? If my question makes sense haha 🙈

The colour wouldn't be my first choice, but I have to say it still looks good, and leaving the timber accents along the top and on the doors is a nice touch. My personal preference, if your original intention was to distress it, is that a clear primer was used so the wood showed through rather than a grey primer peeking through. Maybe also some paper or paint to brighten up the interior back panel? It really is a striking accent piece. Good job👍

Have you ever tried blended colors chalk paint furniture? They are gorgeous and would love to see you do some

I think it would be nice to paint the inside as well.

Great work very time-consuming. I’m sure really don’t care much for the color, but great job. Would love to have one in a dark green.

I enjoyed just watching the process. Some people feel they need to talk all the way through.

This was different! Kinda cool! I remember you did another ASMR last year (or maybe year before). Very creative - both the video & furniture flip.

Jumped ahead to make sure you weren't going to paint an actual antique. 😢 Can you explain why you felt you needed to cover the wood? It didn't look like there was damage.
