Can't believe YT and Tiktok is the way I'm gonna decide what college I'm gonna go to since I can't visit lol
Warner V i know times are crazy now 🥴🥴 i cant even imagine making a decision without ever visiting

Feel you there. I live on FL so it’s a bit hard to visit up there
Hey! I just completed my freshman year at USC and I wanted to clear up a few misconceptions about parking that you mentioned - the garage spot is $400 per semester, not per month, and you are guaranteed a spot with the garage pass! I purchased a garage pass this year and it was honestly so worth it. However, since I lived on campus I mostly only used my car on the weekends and sometimes weeknights. The couple of times that I did use my car during the day though, the garage was very crowded and it could take a very long time to get in and out of the garage and find a spot, so you were right about the garage pass not being 100% smooth sailing lol. Not hating on your video at all, the rest of it was spot on! Just wanted to clear things up for people who may be thinking of attending USC! Spurs up!
Genna Rivers oops if i said month i definitely meant semester!! & i was totally just speaking from personal experience where i never bought a parking pass but i’m glad you commented so others can see the perspective of someone who did!! 🖤
im from jersey and i’m gonna be a senior and this is my top school so thank you so much!! this is extremely helpful ❤️❤️
Julie Tedesco ahh good luck!! 🖤🖤 glad i could help!
Thank you sm for making this, I’m a current junior and v interested in this school ! :)
happy to hear you’re interested in usc! 🧡
same!
Well let me tell you two ladies my experience as a guy
1.) many drunken nights at 5 points unable to take girls home
2.) many drunken tailgate experiences getting near blackout drunk before kickoff
3.) Many days lifting weights and playing basketball at strom
4.) many many lifelong friends and memories
5.) 37k in student loans
Butttt..... I graduated, I have a government job and due to coronavirus I work from home. I also have a house and a paid off car
Anyways, enjoy college it will be fun but.... avoid toxic people and relationships. Avoid sketchy situations. And focus on what you want out of college. Peace and good luck
Thank you for this! I’m transferring to usc and Im glad I’m not going into it completely blind
Thank you for making this video. Its really good and helpful.
I’m so glad!! 💕
i just found your channel and i love it so much. i’m subscribing right now!!
youre the sweetest! thanks so much for supporting me
Thank you so much, I’m going there next fall and this is helpful!
yay! can’t wait for you to be on campus🤍
Heyy I’ll be there next fall too :)
love devon’s vlogs and love yours too 😍
🤍🤍🤍
... As always! Great Video!! 💕 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾
thank you!! 🤍🤍
I’m a guy who just graduated, let me tell my experience....
1.) Many drunken nights at 5 points unable to take girls home
2.) many times wasted at tailgates before kickoff
3.) many fun times playing basketball and lifting weights at strom
4.) many many Lifelong friends and memories
5.) 37k in debt
6.) many nights getting drunk alone playing video games
7.) realizing I may have had a drinking problem in college
College will be a lot of fun
It worked out for me. I graduated and I have a good government job. Due to coronavirus I work from home. I own a house and a paid off car.
My best advice is to avoid toxic people. THERE WILL BE ALOT OF THEM. Avoid sketchy situations. Stay away from drama or weird shit. Focus on what you want out of college!! And have fun
i’m going to be 200k in debt if i get in and go, since i’m coming from out of state 😐
Can I ask what your job is? I’m looking into jobs and what to major in and I’m considering doing political science and getting a government job but I don’t know what
Rena well, don’t do that. College doesn’t need to be a death wish. If you’re not sure what you want to do for a living. Then just take local community college classes.
Or do what I did. Work for a few years. I didn’t become an undergrad at USC until I was 25. Take your time.
real ass bitch i work in child protective services. It’s a state job so you get all the job security and benefits that you could need. Pay is a little low but it’s not too bad to me.
real ass bitch are you still in high school?
i’m in 7th grade and ever sense i was 5 i’ve wanted to go to usc for law. this video is so helpful!
i’m glad i could help!!!
this was really informative!
yay!!! 🥰
love your channel!!!!
Maca Álvarez thank you so much!!! 🥰
currently a junior in hs. i was slacking during my sophomore year because it was virtual. i made d’s/c’s because of it when i usually make a’s and b’s. my gpa went down and now i’m at a 3.3 gpa. if i take advanced/dual credit classes my senior year, would it help my acceptance rate?
The cons are cons you’ll find at most universities, aside from the football team. Nice video!
thanks so much!!
I've been thinking about going USC for a while but the size keeps holding me back. Any helpful tips for someone w lots of anxiety like me that's worried about how big the campus is/how many students go there?
hi!! the best advice i have is that the campus is a lot smaller than you think once you get adjusted. also the only time it gets overwhelming is walking around during peak class times there will be a lot of people around and that can make me anxious but USC has a lot of resources on campus such as disability services that allows you to take exams in a private room & other things! I completely understand having anxiety about how many students go there but it really doesn’t even feel like 30,000 students go there since every one has a different schedule it’s broken up really well. if you have any more questions DM me on Instagram!
Megan Muise thank you sm!!! This helped a lot!
Everyone is new freshman year. Everyone is self conscious and anxious. I promise you people are gonna worry about themselves rather than judge others. Remember everyone is new, you won’t be the only one that gets lost. Don’t be overwhelmed
Wow, really great video. UA-cam was just late recommending this video to me.
🤍🤍
I’m a current senior and am definitely applying! :)
YAYYYY! that’s so exciting 🤩
Me too!! :)
Love you 😘
Love your videos and your advice. I can’t wait to apply. Hopefully I get in
good luck cutie :) 🖤
Hi I’m a junior and this is one of my top schools, I’m kinda on the fence about Greek life though. What sorority did you join???
totally normal to be on the fence!! im in pi beta phi 👼🏼
What would you say the academic environment is like? Idk like are there lots of classes/are they somewhat challenging? Or is it more of a party school?
hi!! i’d say it depends on your major + what classes you’re taking! but honestly for the most part i feel as though the classes can be very challenging, lots of work, and very beneficial! there’s also tons of classes that are easy As or GPA boosters as well. you just have to do your research through the website & looking through classes, rate my professor, or talking to others in a similar major/classes. it’s definitely a party school if you want it to be but also there’s tons more to do other than partying. it really just depends on you & what you want to get out of college!
@@MeganMuise thank you so much, videos like this are the closest one can get to a student experience of a college during times like this lmao
hi! i was recently accepted into UofSC for a political science major... and I am definitely leaning towards commiting. However, i am very shy and anxious; what are the best dorms or housing options that are nearby political science courses, and housing options that are suite style ( more in favor of single room, with other roommates )
you’d def like apartment style dorms! like green quad, south quad, or east quad since you’ll have your own room but share a bathroom with others!
@@MeganMuise thank you so much! One last question, are any of these dorms nearby the classes a political science major would take?
@@kotaman0350 i believe so!! most classes are on central campus which is where all the dorms are! especially if you’re a freshman you’ll be fine :)
@@MeganMuise thank you so much!
thank you so much for this!!! im a US citizen but i live in Guatemala and i want to study in the US, and USC is my first choice! so thank you!
just a question: is the shuttle bus the only thing available for students w no license, car, or driving experience? 🤣 bc idk how to drive
The shuttle, ubers, or riding a bike!
I have another question about rushing, how are you supposed to know people in the fall during rush. Since they don't have winter rush? I have never heard of a school that only does fall and spring rush.
you'll meet a lot of people from your dorm/move in and then also through your pi chi groups! i also met a ton of girls just standing in line outside of the houses
i wanna go to usc for computer science! thanks for the info
it's the best school :)
Im transferring into USC and am in the process of looking for off campus housing. What are the best places to live as a sophomore that are relatively close to campus?
it really depends on your price range! the most common places that are closer to campus are the hub, the station, empire, 650 Lincoln, greene crossing, but some of those can be pretty pricey since they’re so close to campus. some more common ones that are a little farther from campus are olympia & granby mills, the orchard, reign living, the retreat. there’s tons of options it just really depends on your price range
She gettin right into it😂
I want go here
Chaos Contract 😂😂
thanks i needed this lol
hope it helped! 🥰
@@MeganMuise i have a personal question because i’m a sophomore and i still have time to do better , do you remember your stats? like your gpa , sat or act scores it’ll help a bunch .
@@cvbannbr i actually answered this in a video! it’s called ‘how i got into usc’ under my college playlist!
I love this! quick question - when is the football season? and I am from Australia looking to come to USC as an exchange student for a semester - would I be able to join a sorority? thank you! x
August to November!! & yes!!! You can absolutely rush and join one :)
Hey!
Please let me know,
Is USC Offering President scholarship now?
Is it possible to join it from South Asia?
Affordable Tuition fee?
sorry i’m not sure! i’d call admissions and ask
Hi! I’m a French student and with my college I have the possibility to go abroad, are people friendly with foreign students? 😭
yes of course!!!
I’m deffered rn but I want to go but the only thing is like the size of the school and how big it is
Do you have any advice on how to make it not seem that big
definitely joining clubs & organizations helps a ton!! that way you get to meet people and form a smaller community. also meeting people on your hall in your dorm is a good way too!
did you get accepted now
💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
would you say Redtail on the River is a good apartment complex?
hi!! I’m not really sure if it’s good or not but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re going to be a student at USC since it’s not as close to campus as you can get for an apartment. It’s around a 10 minute drive to campus, so walking to and from campus back to your apartment would be a long walk but I’ve never lived there. You could definitely look up reviews!
Are there any beaches close to campus? Or does the campus itself have a pool?
So charleston is around an hour and a half from campus which has the closest beach in SC. The Strom Thurmond fitness center has an indoor and outdoor pool and I think Blatt fitness center has an indoor pool as well. Most apartment complexes also have a pool!
Megan Muise good to know, thank you!!! one more question, what made you pick usc over other schools u were interested in / what made it stand out the most? im currently struggling w choosing a school rn
Corrine S I’m going to be making a whole video going into detail about why I chose USC but basically it was the school that had the most that I was looking for. I wanted a school with a big football culture, far enough from my home town but not too far, and also the campus really drove me to choose it!
What is the cost to complete masters in Computer science from USC ? Are part time jobs easily available ?
not sure about the cost but yes there’s tons of part time jobs!!
@@MeganMuiseThankyou 🤗
help! coastal carolina or u of sc?! i cannot pick to save my life
usc!!!! 🤩🤩
Do they have an interior design or decorating program that’s what i’m interested in and i love the school.
carolyn pirnat i’m sorry i don’t think there’s an interior design program:( i think the closest related program would be media arts but i’d definitely check out the website and search through the majors!
Megan Muise Thank you!!
Hello..I m Indian & I would like to know about this university..could u pls share ur mail so that I cam drop my queries there..
Hi! I’m a senior and I’m really interested in USC. How would you describe the people there? I’m from New York and haven’t visited yet because of Covid. Thanks !!
hey!! i’d say it’s pretty diverse. there’s a lot of different people especially since it’s like 30,000 students
i started cackling at the dining hall comment
Isn’t it true HAHAHA
Im in 6th grade but better early than late
hahaha yesss
Hello which one of the usc you attend
south carolina!!
@@MeganMuise i think she meant which campus bc theres other branches, theres Columbia and Lancaster and others
@@e.m.rivera8948 columbia!

what’s your major ?
psychology with a minor in criminal justice :)
I find out if get in or not on December 15th and I'm so scared 😫
AHHH GOOD LUCK 🤍
@@MeganMuise I GOT IN!!! 😭💗💗💗
@@serena3424 AHHHH YAYYYY IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU 🖤🖤🖤
You was talking about the shuttles & walking, do students ride scooters or bikes?
Info for my son 💕
i do see a lot of people on mopeds or normal bicycles! it’s all personal preference on how you prefer to travel places :) there’s also tons of parking on campus for mopeds/bikes!
Yeah, lots of people bike/ use longboards and moped around campus. I thought I was gonna be weird for skateboarding everywhere, but no, no one cares lol. Lots of people do it
what about the parties
hahah yeah there are some! none on campus but off campus
Please be aware of how much you touch your hair. Takes away from your message
Will keep in mind!
i know u didnt say 5 points was super nice mam i love usc but thats the ghetto af
HAHAHAAHHAAH during the day it’s not so bad 🤫
I’ll be there for fall 2021 and I’m moving from Oklahoma and looking for buddies :)
AH GOOD LUCK! you’ll love it 🤍
Did you get accepted already ??
hi! what’re you majoring in ?
@@elliebrill459 media arts!
@@serena3424 not yet, I meant to say “I’ll hopefully be there...” 😖
I HATED usc and transferred to uga lol
We used to have a good team
Life as Asia i know!!! it’s sad it’s not the same 😩
I want to go here so bad but I live in NC🥲🥲🥲🥲
look into scholarships!!! there might be one where you can get in state tuition even if you’re out of state!
wrong USC oops...
🤣🤣🤣
first muahahahahahahaa
my biggest supporter 🥺
I feel bad for the football team though talent being wasted
HAHAHAHAHAH right 🤧🤧
I made the wrong choice coming here. As a gay male the party scene is atrocious. Can not really be in a frat because those people are generally to accepting of LGBT people. And if you wanna have a good time you better be 21 because it is now impossible to go anywhere even with a fake. I seriously wish I could leave this place only positive part is football season.
If you weren’t so adorable you’d be dangerous...
hahahaha
Go Gamecocks
Let's take a minute and think how stupid those 11 persons who dislikes the video are
period 😩
clemson tho
🤢🤢🤮
clemson > 🤭
if i get in i’m going to clemson, if i don’t then i’ll go to usc, if i don’t get in either, then i’ll be sad 😚
i’m applying from out of state, and if i get denied, jokes on them because they won’t be getting my $200k 😙😗
LOL.... every school has these issues. "so much work to get classes"- suck it up! wait to the real world
Clemson doesn’t have cons so....
Ugh...
