❥ where are you from? hopedale - a lil farm town in central illinois
❥ where do you live? in the last four years i have bounced around from los angeles to my hometown to raleigh to tampa…but st petersburg, fl is home
❥ where do you go to school? i started my college journey at the university of southern california in 2019, then moved back to illinois during covid to go to community college, then finished out at the university of south florida in may 2023:)
❥ what do you do for a living? i have a degree in mass communication with a concentration in broadcast production! right now i am doing freelance work - video editing, social media for different companies, and random videography stuff. check out my videography reels on my instagram!
❥ what camera do you use? for vlogs, typically my iphone 14 pro. but i also have a sony a7iii and dji air2s drone that i will use sometimes - they are my babies!
❥ what editing software do you use? premiere pro!
❥ what is your favorite video on your channel? it’s so hard to choose, but probably any of my europe vlogs. i made a whole series when i studied abroad in summer 2022 and watching them brings me so much happiness • EUROPE VLOGS

I’ve been at usf since I was a freshman, and I can say for sure that the campus life and school spirit has gotten way better the last couple of years. I can’t wait for new stadium, go bulls!

The school spirit is so on the rise! Highly recommend doing beef studs for football games. Get painted up and get to be front row at all games

I agree with everything you said, although I feel like with the kick ass mass comm program we just happened upon might make us more privileged than other majors as far as the actual education goes

You mention the Greek life being a pro in both pro and con videos. Do you know if the hazing and pledging is bad in the frats?
greek life was definitely a big pro for me! I never got too involved with the frats so I don't have any first-hand knowledge of any crazy hazing that goes on, but I don't think it is a huge thing in USF greek life. I truly don't know though. sorry I couldn't be more helpful!
If you decide to go back to graduate school USC is still calling!! 😙

hiiii!! I don't have a video explaining it - I totally should have made one though. long story short, USC was my dream school, but it was VERY expensive and honestly too academically challenging for me. I really loved my one semester in LA but it really didn't make sense for me to stay. if I would've stayed at USC I would've been in over $100K of debt after my 4 years 😭 so I ended up coming home to illinois, getting my associate degree from a local community college, and then chose to transfer to USF due to it's great location and relatively cheap tuition. it ended up being the PERFECT school for me and I can happily say that I graduated completely debt-free!

hi! I can't say I have one - the mass comm program at USF is completely separate from any other programs. I don't even think i've set foot in one of the STEM buildings on campus tbh 🤣 sorry I couldn't be more helpful!

I’ll admit I’m old, graduated in ‘69 but as a mass communication major I would hope you have a vocabulary bigger than
“Sucks” eg food, Starbucks, Amos’s. Also, as a resident, I always had to walk across campus: rain, heat, tornadoes.
I love your enthusiasm and happy to hear about the advancements but no need to whine a out the mail, parking or food. It’s a university and will always be difficult if it’s worth going to.

hi, and congratulations!! that's so exciting! I have no doubt you'll love your time at USF. I don't know much about cybersecurity or USF Master's programs, but my biggest piece of advice to you is to explore Tampa as much as possible! definitely take advantage of the different resources USF has (free/discounted kayaking, sailing, etc) for exploring the area. here's a link www.stpetersburg.usf.edu/student-life/facilities/campus-rec/outdoor-recreation/index.aspx
