Also there are some that like the sound of a inline 4 vs v twin. You should also think that there are some big guys that don't want a 300 or 400 for a starter bike as its too small.
I used to ride Kawasaki ZZ-R1100 and now considering this. I don't understand why people say "stepping stone" and "beginner" when referring to bikes because people buy what they like and can afford. There are no beginner cars or stepping stone cars, just small cars, SUVs, pickup trucks, etc. I think very few people who ride motorcycles consider themselves to be on some imaginary competition or scale where they have to advance and advance and buy more powerful bikes as time goes on, otherwise they will be behind when they keep one bike for too long. I might as well be mistakening of course.
I think this bike nails it for its intended market, as you say; the new rider or even older riders who want to step away from balls to the wall power but still love the look of a sports bike. Apart from the bits you pointed out like the rear end it looks absolutely stunning! I wonder what it would be like with a full system, remap and a suspension upgrade... totally pointless, but would be a fun sleeper bike!
To me this bike is much like a 600 supersports from the 90s, a reasonable riding position, around a 100 brake, decent handling and brakes. The 600s got steadily more extreme, and eventually people got tired of the uncomfortable position and peaky engines and the sales figures showed that. When 600s were like this bike in the 90s early 2000s they sold like hot cakes.... they sold bugger all supersports in 2019.I'd take this over a new zx6 anyway, as I like to do miles on a bike! Also why do so many reviewers alway assume everyone want to "move up" to a thousand bike? I know people who went up and regretted it as its just too fast to be able to really use on the road and downsized back to a middle weight.
Most riders I know always think that they can use more power, so they rarely stop at the 600's. Not to mention with how extreme the ZX6R and R6 became and the speeds they became capable of, the 1000 isn't the crazy leap it used to be (especially with power modes and restrictions). That being said I also don't know many folks who stick to the 1000's for long, usually people buy and get scared off within a year or so then go back to something more reasonable.

@@ELKINKNIGHT935 yes I still own it, put over 1200km this season in less then a month. She's honestly one of the best bikes I've bought. It's got a nice upright seating g position compared to Supersports and it's plenty fast, I've gotten her up to 260km. 10/10 would recommend!
alwas people saying that this thing is "heavy" and here i am toally used to my little old bandit s 600 which has 30kg more 'dry' ... also the cbr 650 r really was meant to be the mid-line between supersport and sportstourer. comfortable enough for daily commuting and touring but still giving you a bit of 'sportiness' for the fun weekends while also not going crazy on your wallet either
First & foremost, nice review Chops. Really appreciate you paying attention to these types of bikes. I've said it before & I'll say it again, these middleweights are where it's at imo. Affordable, useable & fun. This looks a great "little" bike but for me, light weight & decent suspension are a must which is where this bike falls down a bit maybe. I'd be happy to pay a bit more for improvements in those areas. The sub 400cc market seems to be flourishing so I'm hoping that will have a knock on affect & lead to a middleweight revival. We've become obsessed with huge mega powerful bikes we can't use on the road & not everyone wants or can afford a 1000. Viva la revolution lol!
Thanks Rage Rider, yes I do agree I loved the ZX6R made so much sense as a road bike. I really hope they do another RR at some point as the 600 class really does need a revival
Really good comprehensive review, especially for a First Ride. Enjoyed it, and seems like this could be the perfect A2-friendly 'first big bike' for many! Cheers Lamb Chop 👍
Any chance of a video on A2 restricted sports bikes? This one really has my attention it just sounds right, and I’d love to know any other bikes that can be restricted that can also get that smooth buzz on neutral
I watched Mossy review this bike over on 44teeth. He was on the same page as you. He was in Spain or something and would of been happy to ride it back to the UK, such were the comfort levels. A bike that isn't outstanding but can do everything well enough is what I'm getting. Thanks Chops I enjoyed that vid mate.
Let's just say I absolutely love this bike. I bought one not so long ago and have already put over 700 miles on the clock. If you ride it out to the limiter in the first few gears it really can get up to rather stupid speeds rather quickly eg. 80+mph in 1st gear isn't exactly terrible. It makes its power at 8000rpm, with a bit of smaller kick at 6000rpm. To get the most of it, you do have to rev it, but it's a very comfortable and enjoyable bike to ride. It doesn't exactly scare you shitless, but it can definitely put a smile on your face. For the price to me it's almost a perfect bike, the only things it was missing for me was a set of panniers and a double bubble screen to put the wind a little higher. Either way I don't see myself ever really needing to upgrade, plenty enough for the road that's for sure... Anyways great video chops. Keep up the good work
I agree. That front cowl looks nicer than the current Fireblade. Sounds like a new version of my old CBR600F from a few years back. Comfy but mildly sporty. Like a nice Korma. The ZX6-R is more of a Rogan Josh - a bit more spicy! The H2 is obviously a vindaloo - colon-tightening, fire breather!
you cant really compare this to a zx6 tbh, this is meant to be replacing the 650f so its not an out and out cbr, think it got the R on it just from the looks. i would say this is a sporty sport tourer not a mid weight super sport. great bike though for the price and the level of quality you get. have been very very impressed with it.
Pro Tip: Remove the seat. Now thread the screws that hold the seat on, all the way in and tighten. Now put the seat sections back in place. You now have tool free seat removal.
BGS Member but I’m the UK or Europe in general it’s great value for money. And if I was to get a r6 my insurance would be 5 grand on this it’s less than my R125 which is 1400. The CB will cost me 1000 so there’s a market for it here
I think this is a real mix up of bikes, full on sport at the front, streetfighter at the rear, 650 engine but inline four instead of the inline twin, with a bit more power. The seating is probably like the sport tourer 650's (like mine stock) but with slight more of a lean maybe?
Its a very enjoyable motorcycle to be honest. I tried one out for a half day and it was very comfortable (not like a sports bike) but there is a very noticeable gap in the mid and low range. Problem is Honda tuned this engine to be 95 hp so that you could have it on an A2 licence. Im sure, as Mr Chops says, that it could produce way more power and torque. But as it is it is very much lacking in power. As you say this bike is too much of a mix up, a compromise to be any good in any specific category: There are better options if you want an actual sports bike There are better options if you want a daily bike Sheep in wolf's clothing is the perfect comparison.
@@Stratocasterhead51 Nobody should really be thinking of this bike as a super sport, but it is between the 600 supers and the 650 sport tourers like my Kawasaki ER6f, and a great alternative to both. They have great power and more importantly torque for what they are. They look more like a sport bike and go like a 650 twin but with a 4 cylinder sound and a better top end. I know a young lady who has one and it a great all rounder in a catagory rigjt between the usual favourites. You and Mr Chops are right about the A2 licence being in mind when tuned, but I don't think that's a bad thing really, although not needed imo, it can easily be boosted with mods and a tune.
@@HalfdeadRider Oh i agree, it is in a different class to a supersports, more a cross between a sports tourer and a sports bike. Had i not tested the zx6r 3 weeks prior to the honda, i may have probably bought it, but the one that i kept thinking of was the 636 and its crazy engine. cbr is a sensible choice but the 636 is a REAL sports bike.
@@Stratocasterhead51 Oh yes, for sure the current 636 seems (I've not ridden it) to be a great bike, 636's are anyway of course, but with the gearing change alone it makes it even better I would imagine, I really must get a test ride on some bikes if I can without risking losing £1k that I literally do not have.
I personally own while daily riding this exact bike . I have ditched a car for a bike going on 4 years and from the ninja to the cbr , I personally just like riding this more . I purely love that Honda made a nsx street bike . Thats how I feel it is
Excellent review, nice bike, typically honda, had a big scare when the scooter turned up just before you passed, had me pulling the brake behind my computerscreen...
I upgraded to one of these from MT125 after passing my license. The screen is not the same as the cb1000r(unfortunately). I believe it’s limited to 95hp for the eastern market and it cannot be converted to A2 friendly if it made more than 95 Hp in standard format. It definitely needs more midrange grunt. Hoping a filter, flash tune and Akro will help there once it’s available, or I could replace it with something else but have no idea what. To my knowledge there are no similar bikes out there with 120 ish horsepower. Please tell me if there is. I’ve spent 6 hours on the bike in one day and I’m a middle aged fat rider so yes it is comfortable in the twisties but not so much on the motorway. Power socket: I’ve added it to my bike and to my disgust found out it’s under the rear seat so about as useful as tits on a fish. I’ve also added the comfort pack which has heated grips and a double bubble screen. The way that the dealer fitted this with black electrical tape is utterly disgusting. I would not bother. Buy an aftermarket unit and fit it yourself. Overall a great bike. Probably one of your best reviews Chops. Love the way you give it some!
I have yet to test ride either, but riding position and style-wise the CBR650R seems to have a lot of similarities with the Ducati SuperSport. The major difference being that L-twin engine. However it does have that 113hp and a lot more torque (+24 ft-lb). Selling my Speed Triple soon and I plan on test riding both of these but the Duc would have to be pretty special to be worth the much higher price and maintenance costs over the Honda!
Cylinder configuration and capacity isn't what makes an engine, there are many different inline-4 600cc engines. ZX-6R is a real "sports" bike, a "race replica", made for track (and road). This is a sportified CB650, naked, a street bike. It's great for what it is but it isn't fair to call it disappointing because it's not in the same class.
@@Braselton21 given the legal speed limits on most national roads i agree with you , depending on the RPM at 120km' p/h but I can easily live with an R3 or even a CBR 300 , 1 st price for me would be the 400 kawasaki
Can't fault the guys at 'Wheels'. Just been to their Leicester dealership and got some stonking deals on their clothing as having an open day today Saturday 20th July....
That bike looks killer for what it is im very impressed with its looks for sure! Now the performance i cant say but it seemed fast when you open it up! Honda you cant go wrong they know how to build a proper motorcycle or anything really!
I remember some of those roads when you did the MV F4 review , probably one of my fav bike videos of all time. Clearly they’ve coined back in places like the display and shocks but it looks nice and like a blade.
Hi Lamb Chop, another great review of the CBR so much so I am exchanging my 17 VFR800 tomorrow for one. Now being in my tender years (69) I hope it does the job. Keep up with the great videos, take care.
@@V.D.22 Hi,totally different bike, small, compact and lighter. So far I think it's great.Done 800 miles had first service and getting around 65 mpg. Thanks for your interest.
The CB650R is not a "supersport" like the Ninja 636, it's more of a street bike and it's better in its naked form - CB650F. The R version with the fairings looks sporty but it's still the same street bike underneath... meaning that it is set up to be fun to ride on public streets not so much the race track. The particular engine is specifically built for this bike, the 650, and it has a very healthy mid-range. I don't know how anyone would come from a 600 super sport and say that the 650 lacks in "punch" compared to any of the super sports that really don't wake up until you're revving above 7K RPM. I cruise around just fine at 4-5K RPM and it never feels sluggish to me...and when I open it up it flies at speeds more than fast enough for riding upon public roads. The problem I have with reviews like this is that it's trying claim the bike is something that it's not (a supersport) and then complain that it's not as good as actual super sports for whatever. The 650R / 650F are excellent bikes when you want great usable performance on the street, comfort so your spine isn't jack-hammerer by every bump in the road, and a riding position that doesn't induce fatigue. This bike is definitely worth its slight price premium over other bikes that are in its actual class.
The plug is for trickle charger. Love the reviews from lamb chop, can’t say I recommend wheels though...try to buy a bike there, had to chase them up twice then they never even got back to me! I certainly don’t recommend them
I don't know about everyone else but I got an insurance quote and they listed it the same as a 600 super sport and I don't know why i'm honestly pretty disappointed because that is the main reason why this won't be my next bike.
Good review Chop's - yes typical Honda,it does everything you want and a bit more but 'Safe' is probably a good description lol.Now if Honda were to cut loose a bit,dig out their old VF500 Engine, take it to 600cc and build a middleweight to VFR standards id be down to my local Dealers tomorrow with cash in my hand !.
I think it might be good to study up on engine displacement and performance before doing these reviews. Thinking this bike is a disappointment when totally neglecting which segment it actually competes in, is quite an oversight. 600 class bikes do not get their power from displacement, but rather because the 600cc class is a racing class, so the homologation street bikes are pushed to their limit. A 650cc is not a race league, so nobody are pushing them to their limits, since the road bikes in this category aren't used for track homologation. The 650R line sits right above the average 650 class, being helped by its i4 engine layout which markets it slightly more upscale compared to the typical twins found in this segment - and it warrants the slight bump in price compared to other 650 bikes. That's the marketing choice Honda has gone for, since the regular 650 twin cyl segment is already quite crowded. This 650R lineup allows them to reach the higher point of the 650 segment and kinda stay a bit on top of the competition and not having to fight so much on sheer specs and bike/money factor. They could easily tune the bike to perform better than a ZX6R if they pushed the engine, but since its not used for race homologation there isn't really a need for it - and a much better way to get reliable bump up in power would just to go for the 750cc supersport segment instead like Suzuki is doing with their GSXR 750. The 650R sits perfectly as an upscale 650 sports tourer, and is not a supersport intended for track-like riding. It's a blend of the two worlds, the commuter's sports bike you can say. This is the comparison and expectation you need to consider, not a comparison with homologation race bikes.
Welcome to super taxed countries, same story in Denmark. Still worth every cent tho, much much better bikes than the MT-07-SV650, and price wise not super different.
It's like Honda were really enthusiastic when designing the front end, but by the time they got to the back end they were bored shitless. Despite that I am going to have a look, and maybe even have a little test ride. Nice face, shame about the arse.
Consider the CB650F, the naked version of the same bike. I have one and recommend one. Probably the best bike of it's type on the market and well worth a slightly higher price.
@@tommyattack590 I would say more that he should be comparing it to the Ninja 650, the CBR600RR went out of production over a year ago so there's no point trying to compare that to anything.
@@tommyattack590 I think their thinking was a sport tourer type like my ER6f, but slightly more performance and sound towards the super sport 600's, hence the inline four with about 90 bhp and the usual 64 Nm of torque, probably delivered lower to mid range as the Twin 650's. It will also have a slightly higher top speed than mine, how much depending on how aggressive they went with the gearing. You'll actually find these under their super sport selection though, but that's not quite full on SS due to slightly less power and different seating position, done otherwise it's just re-doing the CBR600rr.
iamtherealzombie haha yeah I was going to add the ninja 650, mt 07 , z800 ect , and yeah I know was mainly pointing out they are in a different league 👌🏻. Still love his videos 😍
The "accessory" under the seat is to plug into a battery charger. Oxford if I'm not mistaken, the "Oximiser" so that's probably dealer fitted so the battery doesn't go flat between run outs. I'd get the Ninja 650 instead, better value no major differences.
That bike isnt the new 600rr, it replace the 650f so you should not compare that to a ZX6R. Its a bit sportier that the older version with some improvement. CBR650/CB650 are comparable to SV650, MT07, Ninja 650/Z650. Honda is the most expensive in the list but it does have a little bit more hp with the 4 cylinder, new traction control, assisted clutch and i find the built quality looks better. Here in Quebec/Canada, supersport bike sales are dying due to high insurrance cost but this bike doesnt cost too much, they will sell alot better than 600rr.
How does the ergos on this compare to the SV650X? Because when you explain the ergos on this I'm thinking, yes, yes, YES, that's my cup of tea. Not too upright, slightly tilt, but still in the comfy zone.
Great video as usual LC. I really like the look of the bike, did you notice if it was fitted with LED indicators? because as you say £7700 is a really good price. I've recently bought a new GSX-S1000 and blow me does it go. I watched your review on the gsx and I must admit it inspired me to have a test ride and then buy one.
Just passed my full licence and i am really stuck for choice on what to go for. Terrible at deciding haha. Always wanted a CBR600rr growing up but the naked’s are very tempting like the GSR750 or the street triple but then I’m thinking i want something a bit more hooligany like the 701 🤔. Your vids are ace though and are probably making me more stuck for choice to be honest haha. Keep up the great work chops 👍🏼 love the content!
I’ve had 3 R6’s, a CBR600RR, CBR600F, ZX6R and a Triumph Street Triple R. The Triumph is the most fun bike I’ve ever had. But, ultimately you’ll find enjoyment in any of the bikes you mentioned, just be honest with yourself about what you’ll actually use it for. Enjoy!
Michael Hodgkinson Cheers mate, i do really like the street triple r but i must say I’m not too fond of the front end personally. Not enough to turn me off one though i don’t think. I have inherited my dads old CBR1000f which i’ll always keep but its a bit of a barge to be jumping on straight from a 125. The Ducati Hypermotards are i think at the top of my list but a tad pricey too. I think I’m in need of a few test rides to help sway me 🤔
I think the way the wheel sticks out so far since there's no cowling, that if you put a tail tidy on (shorter than the original) your going to get you're back plastered with crap when you drive it in the rain.
Thanks for the great honest review. I have a MT125 and am learning rn, this is what i am thinking if buying next. I, like you, don’t like the rear also. I wish it had another 20bhp, other than that i think its going to be my next purchase after getting my full bike license. 👍🏽
Heard you make reference to the brake horse power comparing it to the kwak zx6r but didn’t hear you say the actual bhp on the Honda so had to look it up , 93.9 ,, one bhp down on my 21 yr old fazer 600 amazing , but no doubt a well built bike for those that want one , cheers Shane uk
Do they still sell the CBR600RR in the UK? The CBR650R is $5K cheaper than the CBR600RR here in Oz, and I have to say you wouldn't know it to look at them side by side. The real competitor though is the Ninja 650L(a bit more than a grand cheaper). Both bikes are tuned for our LAMS licencing (660cc max and 150KW per tonne power to weight ratio allowing for a 90kg rider, so it's down to @35KW/47hp), making it questionable whether the extra 2 cylinders are worth it.
Yes as D C said the CBR600RR has been deleted for a couple of years now in the UK but the rumour mill is alive and well - Honda is supposed to be working on a new one - i'll believe it when I see it !.

also the cbr 650 r really was meant to be the mid-line between supersport and sportstourer.
comfortable enough for daily commuting and touring but still giving you a bit of 'sportiness' for the fun weekends while also not going crazy on your wallet either
@@LambChopRides Yep fingers crossed! By the way I spoke to Wheels & they said if we mention your name they add money on. ; )
Haha 😆😆😆
Still the best bike I’ve ever had for handling and fun was my CBR 600F on an 07 plate. Wow what a fantastic bike. I still miss her.
what a quality review, the effort your putting into these uploads is fantastic. Thanks Mr Chops 👍
Haha your right there, love the analogy Mac 😁
you cant really compare this to a zx6 tbh, this is meant to be replacing the 650f so its not an out and out cbr, think it got the R on it just from the looks. i would say this is a sporty sport tourer not a mid weight super sport. great bike though for the price and the level of quality you get. have been very very impressed with it.
Thanks
Nice review! A Brit that finally revs the engine!
Pro Tip: Remove the seat. Now thread the screws that hold the seat on, all the way in and tighten. Now put the seat sections back in place. You now have tool free seat removal.
The usual middle of the road Honda motorcycle, it really is the Vauxhall Astra of motorcycles.
Reliable / no oil leaks / bulletproof / value for money , I really can't understand why people buy them ..................
BGS Member but I’m the UK or Europe in general it’s great value for money. And if I was to get a r6 my insurance would be 5 grand on this it’s less than my R125 which is 1400. The CB will cost me 1000 so there’s a market for it here
From 4:30 onwards You sold me my first bike chops. Had a couple of test rides to make up my mind though.
Getting the black version 👍
How is the bike?? Have u brought it?
The optional seat cowl is £220, in the lovely Grand Prix red, looks sharp.
I think this is a real mix up of bikes, full on sport at the front, streetfighter at the rear, 650 engine but inline four instead of the inline twin, with a bit more power. The seating is probably like the sport tourer 650's (like mine stock) but with slight more of a lean maybe?
I will have to visit wheels at some point when I have the fuel on a nice day, as they are not far from me, 70 miles down the road 👍
As you say this bike is too much of a mix up, a compromise to be any good in any specific category:
There are better options if you want an actual sports bike
There are better options if you want a daily bike
Sheep in wolf's clothing is the perfect comparison.
Thats how I feel it is
Excellent review, nice bike, typically honda, had a big scare when the scooter turned up just before you passed, had me pulling the brake behind my computerscreen...
you had me at: "Give em the full beans"
It's a damn streetbike, it's detuned for a reliability.
The rs660 might also be a good choice for you
I have been riding since 74 without a wreck: 175 Enduro, 400 Enduro, SR650, 900 Custom, 125 Enduro, 1000, 1200, CBR 650R.
It’s a shame they didn’t give it a bit more performance mixed with the comfort. Still looks like a vast improvement on the last model.
Lamb Chop, excellent video! I own this bike. The key to riding this machine is 4th gear! Zooming around town, I keep it in gear #4. That's the secret.
EBC HH sintered pads fitted. Can say it makes a big difference. Only need two fingers to do most of my hard braking now.
Did you notice the hazard lights coming on when you hit the brakes. Good review. Nice bike.
ABS intervention alert(s)
Cylinder configuration and capacity isn't what makes an engine, there are many different inline-4 600cc engines. ZX-6R is a real "sports" bike, a "race replica", made for track (and road). This is a sportified CB650, naked, a street bike. It's great for what it is but it isn't fair to call it disappointing because it's not in the same class.
I love the Honda 650 , nice test , regards from RSA " bikes performance is more than adequate given the legal speed limits in most countries.
A Yamaha R3 is enough for the roads :D
@@Braselton21 given the legal speed limits on most national roads i agree with you , depending on the RPM at 120km' p/h but I can easily live with an R3 or even a CBR 300 , 1 st price for me would be the 400 kawasaki
WOnder why Honda shys away from building triples?? This model could no be better as a triple IMHO...lighter with no doubt better power character
In the States, the base ZX-6R is only $600 more than the CBR650R. ZX-6R $9,999. CBR650R $9,399.
John P. Very lucky. My country zx6r is $18000 and
Cbr650r is $10,700.
BTW you can reverse engineer the rear tail to do a delete and flush the tag. I self engineered that .
I’d be interested to see how this compares to its naked partner the CB650R for you. I’m torn between the 2 and similar size and build.
12:15 is the money shot. Nice review Mr Chop .... thanks 👍🏻
Think it is a great first big bike although I think I prefer the look of the naked CB650.
Yes it's a good stepping stone indeed 👍
Indonesia 250cc is the largest bike we have that don't require special license but if you want more power Honda 650r Is all you need.
As a 59 year old fart liking sports bikes, the CBR650R is just the ticket. Great Review.
I remember some of those roads when you did the MV F4 review , probably one of my fav bike videos of all time. Clearly they’ve coined back in places like the display and shocks but it looks nice and like a blade.
Quick shifter is a additional extra you could be lucky to get one with the bike if you pick up a demo.👍
I’ve got my a2. Thinking of getting this and then when I’ve got my full licence take the restrictor off. First big bike. Hope it’s ok on A2
Hi Lamb Chop, another great review of the CBR so much so I am exchanging my 17 VFR800 tomorrow for one. Now being in my tender years (69) I hope it does the job. Keep up with the great videos, take care.
hi! How do you like the CBR650 comparing to VFR800?
@@V.D.22 Hi,totally different bike, small, compact and lighter. So far I think it's great.Done 800 miles had first service and getting around 65 mpg. Thanks for your interest.
@@johnwood7306 nice! But don't you consider the 2017 VFR800 a better bike?
Chops , please dump that awful music. Nice bike by the way. Honda need to do the same with the CB1000R naked.
03:30 Just for reference, it costs 12,000+ pounds in Norway (plus registration which is about 330 pounds)
Nice face, shame about the arse.
its the other way round with my misses
@@monkeydust100 LMAO

Consider the CB650F, the naked version of the same bike. I have one and recommend one. Probably the best bike of it's type on the market and well worth a slightly higher price.
@@alphaforce6998 The cb650r is the naked version?
Your comparing it to a different class of bike 😕
Should be comparing the cbr600rr to the zx6r not the 650
@@tommyattack590 I would say more that he should be comparing it to the Ninja 650, the CBR600RR went out of production over a year ago so there's no point trying to compare that to anything.
Halfdead Rider You can still compare the 600RR to the YX-6R since it’s only out of production in Europe
The "accessory" under the seat is to plug into a battery charger. Oxford if I'm not mistaken, the "Oximiser" so that's probably dealer fitted so the battery doesn't go flat between run outs. I'd get the Ninja 650 instead, better value no major differences.
I'd love a bike that has 636 power with clip ons like the Honda for my old back.
Mt10 or tuono both have more comfortable seating a bars and more power than the 636. Mt10 can be had for 10-11k
Nice review of the ZX6R.... Lol.
Thanks very much matey, it's tough isn't it so many good bikes out there!
Too true mate aha i’ll get there in the end I’m sure 🙄😂
I think I’m in need of a few test rides to help sway me 🤔
Congrats. I just passed my DAS yesterday and am in the market for this and quite a few other bikes. But what a nice dilema to be in, eh? 😀👍
I think the way the wheel sticks out so far since there's no cowling, that if you put a tail tidy on (shorter than the original) your going to get you're back plastered with crap when you drive it in the rain.
Yup. That's how my 2014 650f is set up. Gotta avoid puddles lmao
That plug under the seat might be for the pc input for service records etc
Thank you for an detailed review. It is one of the bikesI am interested owning.
Thanks for the great honest review. I have a MT125 and am learning rn, this is what i am thinking if buying next. I, like you, don’t like the rear also. I wish it had another 20bhp, other than that i think its going to be my next purchase after getting my full bike license. 👍🏽

Yeah sorry Shane forgot to mention it didn't I! 👍
600rr discontinued in UK sales were in the toilet at the end anyway.
Yes as D C said the CBR600RR has been deleted for a couple of years now in the UK but the rumour mill is alive and well - Honda is supposed to be working on a new one - i'll believe it when I see it !.

I think the plug under the seat is the OBD port
That looks alreet that! Sadly the supersport class is dead now so I guess Honda have reinvented the wheel and turned the CBR into a great first big boy pants bike.
Yeah in the real world where people just put around with a spirited twist of the wrist here and there.. no track days.. no street Rossi's. But any bike can get you killed, if you're heavy on the throttle.

Was thinking exactly the same thing when LC was comparing it to the ZX-6R.
Would love to see you review the Ninja 650. Be nice to hear your thoughts on it.
I had the The 2011fabs and it had a lovely sound with an ixil exhaust can on it, but I found the back would squat on tight corners and my back would hurt after 60miles. Lovely bikes but i think you need to be small
To qualify as an A2 bike the original bikes power can’t exceed twice the 47bhp in restricted form.
Will spank a stock sv650
I don't understand how you call this bike small slow like its a 125. this bike is faster than 95% of cars and also a fast bike for sure
Yeah, it's a good-looking bike. I like to see some engine, not all fairing; the cutaway for the exhaust is a nice touch. Decent.
lovely brother...honda cbr650r or suzuki gsx s750??? which one will you choose??
Thanks for the video, chops!
I have a tail tidy and speaking of the soft ride, the first big bump bent my license plate in half.
Why he keep comparing it to a Z06? There's a very good reason Honda didnt make it a Z06 competitor: They already make the CBR600R
Yes it lools better in front than 1000
Love this beast but would have been much better if the tail was little sharp
