Hey, you made it this far! Thank you for watching, make sure to come back & say hi before you leave... its not safe to go alone...
Kotor will be forever my favorite Star Wars games. I'd actually be afraid if EA had a go at Kotor 3.
Wouldn't be the same
I would be down for it to be honest. Fallen Order is amazing and how they turned Battlefront 2 around is nothing short of a miracle. I hate EA as much as the next gamer, but some KoTOR vs no KoTOR for me is a no brainer. There are still competent, good people under EA in places.
Hah! EA would completely ruin it. I have no confidence in them at all. All they care about is making money by exploiting player bases. Making a quality game is secondary to that. That's why we have the MMO instead, its way more profitable. The only way to make as much money with a single player game is to actually make it good, which takes a lot of work. I hate EA with every fiber in my body and I will never buy an EA game.
Give it to Respawn if so they did good on Fallen Order
@@Pixx2266 SWTOR already exists
I'd rather have KOTOR 3 than a new trilogy.
@Scott Moore If they totally remade Kotor 1 and 2 it would literally be a top rated game of the year. Honestly they would gain so much positive reputation as a company.
Same here
Even if it was made by EA?
Personally, I dont trust 'em

I'd rather have nothing than the new trilogy
The fact that JA only had one year of development, and its still has the best lightsaber gameplay after all these years amazes me.
Agree. Mike Gummelt designed it. Such a pro

[JAS]GrymOne
To be fair, it was using the Jedi Outcast engine, so it wasn't like they jumped from Dark Forces 2 to Academy. If they did THAT within a year, it would've been impressive. There's four years between Mysteries of the Sith (1998) and Outcast (2002).
But I still love Outcast and Academy regardless.
@@GrymsArchive it's still alive as long as players want to keep playing... Also MBII mod
Actually, it was running on the Jedi outcast e ngine. Which held the basis for all the lightsaber combat. I you haven't played it before, you should at least watch some videos of it. All four of the single saber styles came from Jedi outcast, they just added katas, and the rolling stab. the story of academy really shows the fact that they had a short time to make it, the player receives almost no training, you just go out on missions and kill all sorts of guys to reach the end of the level. And Rosh, Jadens "friend", had no story buildup to be his friend. They talked like twice and then Rosh turned to the darkside. Not to mention Kyle, Jadens master, always went off to do his own thing on missions, while jaden ran around slashing and shooting people. They had a golden chance to make the best game we've seen of star wars, excellent saber combat, custom characters, but the short development time wrecked the story completely. (Not to mention the gunplay was awful, but that's a whole different tirade there.)
Games are no longer made for FANS, they are made for SHAREHOLDERS
Agree 😑
With big AAA publishers yes. But check out smaller studios out there. That's where you find some fantastic titles. Once Lost Games is a newer studio with a ton of potential. With the father of the Elder Scrolls series himself Julian Lefay at the helm of development. Mind you the last Elder Scrolls game he worked on is Oblivion.
Yes and no. Shareholders aren't going to be happy if fans don't buy the games.
What I think you are more referring to is games really aren't made for "niche" audiences much anymore by major developers, they are made for broad appeal. However, "pressure" from shareholders doesn't really help either. Triple A titles are almost always getting released full of bugs, which is a combination of pressure to release and get that money, and convenience of technology in that you can always patch the problems after you get your money. This isn't the old console days where it better work because you cant just push a patch to a cartridge/physical disk.
@Krystal Giove Yes but it also has to go through Disney approval...
@Prithu hahah found the shareholder
Man KOTOR kinda raised me. I was very lonely kind of neglected kid and games/books raised me. Fucking Revan will always be canon in my heart. I hope oneday the dark times end and we can see Kotor reimagined in our generation. I hope that perhaps my children will have some form of interactive art that is as powerful as KOTOR was for me. It's funny even with all the glaring issues with KOTOR2 it was the first of the two games I played as a kid and thus my favourite of the pair. But man I have to say I'm really not even the most die-hard star wars fan. But KOTOR1/2 will remain my favourite games of all time and it's a shame that there isn't more attention surrounding KOTOR as far as the new disney star wars goes. I mean I don't think I wanna see Disney do Revan, because I don't see a Rise of the Skywalker level incident with my most treasured portion of the franchise. but I don't own it and I'd accept whatever story they choose. But if disney does not cash in on a Old Republic Era live action series I will.
Man, i really want movies of Kotor but with the same direction that the Mandalorian, and if someone have to be Revan, that is Keanu Reeves, he is perfect for the rol
@@mateoreyes6921 actually bro i would be the best Revan. I know more about Revan than anyone could. Sure Keanu could deep dive the lore, play the games dozens of times. But I was doing that as a child. I’m not even interested in becoming an actor. But if disney did decide to do a series like that it would become my ultimate goal to be cast as Revan. I accept that it would likely never happen. Even if I did drop everything and put all of my effort into acting I would probably end up cast as an extra which just being a part of star wars in any way would be cool. But in my heart I know I’m only person on Earth literally born to play Revan in a live action multi part drama series on a premium streaming platform. With hollywood and disney’s love for diversifying roles with actors of different ethnicities I could totally see them casting me (a half black and half irish person) for the role. I know this probably sounds narcissistic but it’a just something I’m really passionate about and even though Keanu would make an excellent fit part of me would be jealous and hurt cause I know I can do that character better than anyone.
Same here a neglected generation raised by video game and book heroes of old

I fell in love with kotor because of the D&D leveling mechanics, the D20 system, and the epic story that can be played many times without ever tiring of it.
Sadly i dont think EA would make a good kotor 3... somehow or other, the whole game would be turned into politics and monetization...
I hear ya
I don't remember seeing political stuff in Jedi Fallen Order. Cere doesn't count because she is essential to the story.
Frankly, not a big fan of D20 system, because it can things make more confusing than necessary with all new abilities that you don't really need.
Also I hate RNG deciding you do minimal damage or you cannot hit a massive and slow target.
@@vulthurmir2478 i respect your opinion on that totally. There are many game systems out there and most include RNG to a greater or lesser extent. I feel the d20 system is a good balance between a simple system I can understand, yet it can be a system that takes me a while to master (which gives me the feeling of always learning something new about the game). Appreciate your input, I can see where your coming from there:)
@@briana208 yup, especially when a blaster bolt should kill in 5 shots at most (exclude creatures who put all but one intelligence, charisma and wisdom points into constitution/strength) likewise with lightsaber slashes, excluding misses or damn good armour, but latter doesn't apply to lightsabers unless it disables them on contact or the like.

Even though I liked M-ass Effect, would have loved a Kotor 3 more
That's like choosing who your favourite child is, I could, but I'd rather not
KOTOR 2 is definitely my favorite of the two; much more ambitious gameplay and narrative more to my taste.
I understand people who prefer the first game because it feels more "complete" and the storyline is less esoteric but given the choice, I would always rather play 2. (love them both though)
And I've never played the fan mods that patched up the game yet, just on Xbox.
Agree. Never ever play the Droid planet, though.
Kotor>Kotor 2 for me
You can try out the restoration mod, it is great. However, I do not recommend the mod that restores the M4-78 droid planet. It makes feel the game completely dead (which in fact the tone of the game to begin with) and even more unfinished that it is.
Kotor 2 has a lot of potential, but I think the reason why people choose the first one over this simply because Kotor 1 feels much like Star Wars, while Kotor 2 tries to be something more than Star Wars. It provides depth and complexity to the universe that could be hard to swallow on your first playthrough. However, I personally enjoy this complexity and prefer this depth over everything we got in the sequel trilogy.
Agreed I prefer KOTOR 2 w restored content mod to the original but to each their own
@@aamirrazak3467 After completing KotOR II with the restored content mod, I can agree with you and say that I prefer playing KotOR II that way. I installed it manually on my Windows XP desktop.

I honestly don't know if that would be good. Times have changed so much I rarely see a game with really good plot these days and Kotor 1 and especially Kotor 2 had such a great, mature plot that I can't imagine any todays developer being able to come close to the quality of past releases. Just look what happened with Mass Effect: Andromeda. Maybe if Casey Hudson was involved in the project they could pull off something fairly good, I don't know.
maybe a reboot for canon, and i’d love to see the first game on a new game engine
Disney would never allow us to have that

I mean, if Mass Effect gets a face lift, anything is possible!
@@DarkLOREDash I think that is more of a marketing effort for the new Mass Effect game they are working on. I mean I was surprised. After the Andromeda situation it seemed like EA was just going to cancel the ME Universe.
I assume the KOTOR remake will be a pile of hot political garbage.
@@steelmongoose4956 I fear you are probably correct which is why I said hoped instead of hoping. I fully expect if they were to make KOTOR 3 any time soon it will have a simple story, mostly linear play, and a woke agenda. I'm sure they will attempt to make up for it with pretty cut scenes and character cameos. After all that seems to be the go to these days; have a crappy game? Just pack it full of easter eggs and fancy cut scenes.
This is our imperial era people. One day a new hope will rise and save our kotor dreams
You can tell SWTOR kind of just destroys the legacy of KOTOR to pave way for itself. They aren't the same, really.
KOTOR 1 & 2 were building up to The Exile and Revan coming together and forming an alliance of sorts with all the people you met and went through journeys with in the first two games to fight the monster-like True Sith. Obsidian even says the True Sith were meant to be these monsters with character depth and unique abilities, instead we got a carbon copy OT Empire.
In Revan's own novel, we get contradictions to his masterful planning and genius. The novel and game turns him into some kind of puppet for Vitiate who was doing his bidding fighting the Republic/Jedi, instead of trying to convert them into his own Sith to stand a fighting chance.
Instead of a climactic showdown between the forces under Revan and the Exile against the True Sith, we get an unceremonious ending where Revan easily loses, and The Exile is just instantly killed by betrayal from Scourge because he had a vision about how much money SWTOR is gonna make.
Hell, at least The Exile didn't get turned into a maniac just there for that fan-service and an expansion pack. RIP Revan.
"Aye, I wish to know more about these 20 unreleased games and the power of the Unseeing Eye. Show me!"
It's the year remasters and remakes I dont seem to know why arent they remaking or remastering KOTOR.

Thanks mate, my pleasure! The 20 + cancelled titles kill me though
@@DarkLOREDash Very understandable. I've been a Star Wars fan ever since I was little. I remember reading all these headline you reviewed here and thinking much the same thing as you mentioned. How on earth would it be bad for LucasArts to spread the IP around to a bunch of different publishers, letting them pay you for the naming rights and shifting the risk of development around to other studios? I remember being really disappointed to see them silo the IP into one place...especially when it was EA, but then get really excited to see an old republic era MMO that was being developed by Bioware! I still love SWTOR and keep coming back to it every year or so as it's just plain fun to play through the core story, but man...the amount of other great titles we could have had hurts to think about. I'd gladly take 10 disappointing cash grab turds for every 1 great Star Wars game.
I’ve been working as a 3D modeler and a Generalist for about 5 years now. This video has the evidence and the talking points but the main answer should have been clear. BioWare had a overestimated development cycle for the size of their company at that time. They wanted to focus on other titles and not just stick to one to hope to replicate what they did with Kotor. All gaming companies that have had at least one successful title must be willing to venture other paths to expand and BioWare had two in mind between the end of 2004 to 2007 which was Jade Empire in 2005 and Mass Effect in 2007. One title was never heard from again and the other...it put BioWare basically at the forefront of gaming so you win some and you lose some....it happens. As for the EA debacle that happened shortly before Mass Effect launched, at the time it looked and still does look like a good idea for BioWare to be bought by EA since they know their stock will go up cause Mass Effect success, it’s all about money. A company that holds most of your shares decides what you’ll be releasing and if Kotor 3 isn’t pitched as being a huge success...they won’t make it.
I'm not saying your wrong... Im just saying I don't like it. Lol well put though.
I still remember the first time I played Kotor. I was blown away by everything. Hell. I was on Taris for probably 20 hours discovering every little detail and lore. And I was honestly shocked that my character was revan the first time I played it. I mean I know I should have put 2 and 2 together but I was also 8 years old at the time so I really wasn’t able to do comprehensive problem solving like that lol. So yeah the first installment was an absolute memory. And then my all time favorite moment was when you crash on rakata. The lore was so immense on that planet. And that’s where the major plot twist happened.
I hope we never get another KOTOR game, I'd like the series to end good and not get tainted by EA.
Because Disney wanted *a clean slate* without anything prior to the Prequel trilogy to anchor them to the Pre-Disney established SW source material. Plus Disney also doesn't believe in encouraging of the creation of *non-cannon* SW source material we'll *NEVER EVER* get anything remotely related to SW KOTOR ever again because *EVERY SINGLE THING THAT HAPPENS IN SW ABSOLUTLY HAS TO BE CANNON & THE VERY NOTION OR IDEA OF A SW GAME WITH "ANY KIND OF MULTIBLE CHOICE" IMMEDIATLY BREAKS THAT CANNON CONTINUITY LIKE A LARGE SACK OF HEAVY BRICKS BEING SMASHED THROUGH A VERY PAPER THIN GLASS WINDOW!..* & it really pisses me off that Disney doesn't have *THE BALLS* to just make any non cannon SW source material that's *ACTUALLY MOTHERFUCKING ENTERTAINING WITHOUT EVERY SINGLE NEW CHARACTER HAVING TO SPONTANEOSLY DROP DEAD, EVERY SINGLE NEW PLANET INTRODUCED IN SAID GAMES SPONTANEOSLY COMBUSTS & THE MINDS OF EVERY SINGLE LIVING BEING IN THE ENTIRE GALAXY BEING ERASED "MIB STYLE" JUST BECAUSE THE MOVIES NEEDED TO HAPPEN* but *NOOO..* if it ain't *CANNON* than it doesn't ever exist in any way shape or form "outside of your very own *ISOLATED* imaginations!.." 🤨
That list of 20 cancelled games peaked my interest

What not many people realize is that LucasArts was basically the EA of the 2000s. Nearly every game they published, especially of the Star Wars franchise was greedily rushed out before they were ready. Games like Republic Commando (also a beloved Star Wars game with a missing sequel) had an entire fourth of the game that was cut for time, and so did KotOR 2.

I really loved the first one, shame the third one never came.
I'm intrigued by the other 20 games. Please do post about them!
Regarding KOTOR, I suspect that if any of the upcoming movies is set during the High Republic or even the Old Republic (possibly much later in the future) and is well received, EA will be prompted to develop a game that takes place during those eras.
I was wondering why Kotor 2 pretty much made two smaller seemingly cheaper versions of previously used Planets. So hearing they only had a year to develop it really makes sense. And it puts the rest of the game even higher in my opinion since they had so little time to do it, refine the combat system, make new items, birth the influence system, and record three days worth of Kreia speeches and rants.
Kotor! Darth revan!
Edit: 4:54 I see what you did there.
Edit2: I'd like to think that kotor 3 never happened because the technology wasn't there. It was obvious they had grand plans, which the technology wasn't there to do it.
"Greatest plot-twists of all time"
AKA: The same plot-twist in BG1, BG2, and Jade Empire. BioWare can only do two endings:
1) You were secretly the bad guy/child of the bad guy the whole time.
2) You have to die to defeat the bad guy.
For the RPG newbies out there, Obsidian regularly has better writing than BioWare, but their games are released too early and with hundreds of bugs, so nobody plays them.
Of course, it doesn't matter, since BioWare fans seem to forget what happened in each game. That or they don't actually play RPGs for the story, which would also make sense.
@@ixis What about new vegas?
For me, I never got to finish the first kotor but was able to finish kotor 2, despite of its bugs and cut content, I absolutely loved it especially when the modding Community made the restored content mod making it far more fleshed out, a lot more opportunities to develop your character of choice and to get more involved in the story, I have and still love it even to this day.

A third installment would be amazing! There is a story they can take of trying to find Revan but i do not think Lucasfilm and EA will because they are very eager to build their own IP with Fallen Order and now Squadrons. I do think Squadrons is the best Star Wars game ever made but it is easy to believe that KOTOR III would take its place as the most amazing star wars game ever!
Squadrons really? That flaming pice of shite in a bag that they dropped on us? Never did I ever seen a bigger crap, and I watched first 30 min of the last jedi. Btw.ea i want a refund for that trash
I both loved and hated Jedi Fallen Order when I played it. The combat was super fun and exciting, the visuals were nothing less then stunning, but the story just left me wanting for something more substantial. I kept thinking about how if I could make a Star Wars game I would have taken the teams from KOTOR, and JFO, and put them to work on their respective strengths.
Swtor is kotor 3, 4, 5 and so on. ;)
SWTOR's f2p system is really good and fair.
Im glad you like it, just not a true KOTOR game
No it isn't, their f2p sucks.
SWTOR will never be KOTOR 3.
Are you kidding? SWTOR shits on the legacy of KOTOR, SWTOR should have been it's own thing. Revan becomes a deranged toy for fan service and DLC, and the Exile just unceremoniously dies. The Sith conceptualized in KOTOR3 sound way more intimidating than the boring, Original Trilogy carbon copy Empire in the MMO.
Also, such a game entirely carried by the story shouldn't be transformed into an MMO.
SWTOR is more akin to a spin-off really, and a great one at that.
Noticed you used abit of my Revan video at the start there haha that took me by surprise.
Disney is a dumpster fire...
Yeah I want KOTR 3 now, but please make the party size bigger than 3. That's why I liked dragon age gamed for the 4 member party system
I just wish KOTOR 2 was on the Google play store like KOTOR 1 is for Android
It might have been to buggy to easily port I hope they do too though
I can see obsidian getting another crack at developing their version for kotor 3, especially now that they are partnered with microsoft and them looking to gain more foothold into the singleplayer/rpg battle against sony.
I dunno if Obsidian is the same company as 15 years ago...
There is no hidden reason as to why it was canceled. EA couldn't monetize the shit out of it that's why it was cancelled!
That’s not true at all lol. Kotor 3 would have come out well before ea bought BioWare in 2008
@@Bhutchin09 that may well be, but as far as I'm concerned every developer that sells out to one of these men corporations who care nothing nothing more than to squeeze every last dime out of the audience oh, they deserve every bit of backlash harsh reputation and misinformation that comes their way! So yes as far as I'm concerned it is because of EA! And as I'm on a permanent boycott for life for anything EA publishes oh, it doesn't worry me that 3 was never made! He destroy one franchise I loved in favor of more Sims server space, you steal from me, when I buy a collector's edition and the key doesn't work and you tell me all your able to give me is a regular key it doesn't have all the collector stuff I paid for, you lose me there too. And finally when you allow my account to be hacked and fight me all the way to damn near Court when somebody else use that account to buy a shit ton of games that I never did, you earn my complete and total Wrath! So yes EA can suck it, and every single developer that signs on with them can suck it too!
@@HighmageDerin yeah, not arguing with you there. I don’t see the need to type out all of that when it doesn’t have anything to do with what we were talking about or what actually happened. I will happily shit on ea any day but I’m not going to just blame shit on them that they didn’t do lol. As far as you’re concerned it was because of ea? That means nothing. Try being objective and living in reality.
@@Bhutchin09 EA did wind up being part of the problem, but only because of LucasArts years earlier. KOTORIII could have happened instead of SWTOR if EA were interested in it. But most of the blame definitely falls on LucasArts.
Hoping Sony makes a deal with EA to have KOTOR Remake series possible. Can't wait to play this series on the PS5.
This video makes me irrationally angry in regards to how my favourite games of all time were not continued due to one mans ineptitude as business
I initially was a fan of Star Wars Galaxy. I had started a Wookie brawler and I had him outfitted pretty well, then along came an update which NERFED my character and made the weapons that I was using obsolete. Thanks a lot Lucas Arts for screwing up what was supposed to be a great game. Now I play SWKOTOR online, which is still really good, but I miss playing a Wookie. I really think that the devs should make the Wookie race a playable race, if not them then I would like to see the Devaronians, I think that they would make AWESOME Sith!
Yes lets talk about the other games i saw a Vader one!!
I would love HK-47 to be added to newer games. I evem considered playing dungeong in SW: TOR to get him as a companion (even though I levelled to max level (before the expansions) w/o playing with others. I just love his personality in the KOTOR games 😁
gamers get together and just make the damn game themselves
Agree. Til Disney put out the cease & desist
@@DarkLOREDash who cares, finish it, put it on torrent lmao
@@DarkLOREDash Disney already sent out the cease and desist on a MOD that was essential porting KOTOR 1 to the Unreal Engine 4. I mean, it was still going to require the original game to be installed. So it was simply a mod in the purest sense, despite being a rather ambitious one. www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-10-12-oh-no-lucasfilm-has-shut-the-star-wars-knights-of-the-old-republic-unreal-engine-4-remake-down
I can't imagine they would let a stand alone fan made stars wars game fly.
The big take away here appears to be that Bioware were too busy and LucasArts wanted to do inhouse but the investors turned away from story driven games. As much as I love the Jedi Knight Academy game, the short development time shows. Funny how big game companies even then were screwing us over.
I'm still extremely salty over the Kotor remake getting shutdown. As a mod, it would have required everyone who doesn't already have the game on PC to go out and buy it, so it would have only bolstered sales of a 15 year old game at no expense to EA, BioWare, or whomever was involved, while also scoring a lot of good will points with fans. It was literally a win-win for everyone. And with how close EA and Microsoft are, I doubt the original game having been published by Microsoft would have been a problem here.
As for a new Kotor game, I'd honestly rather wait until woke culture is complete gone. I can't stomach the awful, immature, tone-deaf and forced writing in games these days. BioWare are one of the biggest offenders of this.
It was Disney that killed the remake mod, and they did it in the most brutal way possible. Literally waiting until the last hour before dropping the hammer, forcing the developers to waste countless hours and money on their project.
They did it as a message to all modders, and it worked.
@@stryletz This always happens though. I don't know why modders just don't keep quiet until the project is finished and out in the wild.
@@headbangerdnb If they did that no would know. Marketing is important especially in these days where they is something new and shiny. People need to know so it stick in their brain.
@@undeadblizzard Not at all. It's a mod. Keep it under wraps until it's finished, then release it. There are enough youtube channels that jerk off Kotor constantly to get the word out.
@@headbangerdnb That could work.
Kotor 1 is my favorite Star wars story.
Kotor 2 is all about descontructing with love starwars mythos to make it your own.
I grew with those 2 game as a gamers and a person and don't care if that sounds cheesy.
i would take kotor 3 over swtor every day
Agree
I will forever love the Jedi Knight series and wonder what 'Jedi Knight III: Brink of Darkness' could have been like.
First!
Welcome!
@@DarkLOREDash yay
Been watching your stuff since Diablo lore :)
i still play kotor 1 and 2 still to this day! the mmo kotor was okay but never came close to living up to kotor 1 and 2. they seriously need to start working on a third! especially with the tech we have now it would look beautiful
Look what happened with swtor lol its just one big microtransaction mess.ea and bioware are just milking peoples love for star wars and its sad.
How is swtor a big microtransaction mess? I haven't had any microtransactions since I've resumed playing in April after 6 years and I don't remember microtransactions back then.
@@DanSlotea true I'm back into it after a 4 year hiatus and DAMN they changed it alot i want to get my hands on premium now. And I'm still with the Mando clan i joined 4 years ago the welcome back from them was welcoming being back on discord with them
Have you played swtor? You don't need to pay for anything. The only things you pay for is cosmetics, you can play the main game with no cost and to get all of the expansions you have be subscribed for a month.
Uhhhh no. If you want to look cool or are going for a specific look you pay microtransactions. Its F2P and offers free expansions just for subbing. It's actually cheaper than wow to play on the current xpac. The best gear in the game can only be purchased with tech fragments/credit cap for preferred players. You can also choose to spend the FREE premium currency they give you for completing achievements/using a security key/referring players/subbing to purchase all the premium play bundles to basically have all the sub benefits on a free account rewarding players who play for extended periods of time. Plus revan is in it. Not sure what you mean by littered with microtransactions.
@@logandotters6875 although I'm subbed (I play it most days, so kind of feel like I should support it) swtor is really easy to play completely for free, it just takes a bit of grinding and your limited a bit on cosmetics and have a million credits price cap but that's really it.
Your voice sounds like Carth
I don't want to talk about it
I remember a video from game Informer talking about a canceled Star Wars darth maul game and it showed gameplay footages. Please make the 20 canceled Star Wars games, i need a fresh reminder of the games that had such potential.
Yes, that was very fleshed out! I will but its gonna be rough 😒
@@DarkLOREDash take your time, get as much research done no matter how much it will take.
Don't know if you could see the Disney shut down of Apeiron as infamous. Honestly pretty much everyone knew that was going to be inevitable. Disney is not about to allow copyright infringements go unchecked. I still remember reading their site's FAQ, there was a point on whether it's legal or not and it amazed me at seemingly how little research was done
Crikey! I love you vids even though I have never played any of these games.....erm already too old
Back atcha
Thank you Dash for making this. KOTOR 3 will forever be the game I wish we had. Also meatbags are crazy love my boy HK
I'd say the mmo is kotor's 3rd installment akin to wow being the 4th installment in the warcraft games.
Just replaying Kotor 1 for like the 12th time! Its such a shame that a third kotor or remake isnt happening atm! Its only a matter of time and when it happens its gonna be worth the wait!!!!
Masterpiece!
I think the only reason we want kotor 3 is because we want it to play the exact or at least super similar to the first 2. we don't want a realitme rpg combat system I think, we like the whole sit there and pick your attacks style. And we like the whole stand still and talk through dialogue with no animation but lip sync and slight head nodding. we like these simple, old things. and it's too bad because if there ever actually comes to fruition an actual kotor 3, it probably will not play anything like the old games.
Witcher 3 is definitely number 1 in my opinion with the kotor games (especially kotor 2) at number 2.
Apeiron makes me cry
the line about not enough people wanting to play a single player game... much less a single player rpg... is so much utter bantha poodoo
Good video my lore Dash
Thank you marg 😍
I love how he chose the Manaan Aria as the background music
Kotor games and especially the KOTOR 2 is one of the best RPGs ever created. Thank God EA is not going to fuck it up. Kinda sad that we think EA as a monumental fuck up at this point.
Funny how good games comes from indie developers because no suprise they CARE about good games that would make the player happy not thinking how much we can milk the audience for all it's worth with budged compared like ants to AAA and AAA is considered with derision in this age. Funny times. I am so scared for DA 4.
I have a feeling that Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are going to keep making 'Legends' characters (and eventually storylines) canon through their work on Disney+.
I'm treating Legends the way courts treat suspects, 'Canon until proven otherwise.'
