Woot!! 🎉Woot!!🎉 Grade A quality review gentlemen!! Thank you Drew and Mason for serving us up a yummy visual delicacy of Passport Elite 3.5L V6 naturally aspirated raw reliable Honda engine power backed by the silky smooth 9 speed transmission wrapped up in a sporty chic exterior and filled with delicious intuitive electronic class and essential daily driver features for the SUV fan boys and gals out there that like outdoor fun mixed with city comforts!! Love me some good reliable V6 fun without turbo lag and real transmission without CVT simulation shifts!! Elite would look even better pulling a waverunner/jet ski behind it on way to lake 😎😁 (it is still 96°F here in south central Texas 🌞). Thank you Honda North America for going above and beyond allowing Mason to flex his automotive review skills from the driver's seat for first time while attending their first ever press event! Congrats Mason! Great first impressions from behind the wheel.😎 Ya'll are almost to 100K! 😄😀 the 100K celebration will be here before you know it!
Have this vehicle, dark blue with grey leather interior. LOVE IT. Nothing bad to say, fun to drive, nice ride, relatively quiet, refined. Don’t see many on the road, but don’t care. This is perfect for me. Powerful enough, good MPG, perfect drive. Wifey has the PILOT for extra seating with our Grandsons, LOVE both. We’ve owned Hondas since the 80s, best vehicle on the road, in my opinion.
I have had this car for 3 weeks. I previously had 2 F150 trucks. It is a little on the hard ride but the Tec stuff is excellent. I needed lots of cargo space as I drive to Florida for 5 months. This SUV delivers, even my cats like it!
Congrats guys! This is quite a milestone, being invited to your first press event, and in such a beautiful environment. It is nice to see your diligent efforts being recognized at a more professional level, and hopefully we'll see you at more of these events in the future.
Own a 2004 PIlot EX-L. 166,000 city/country miles and the only repairs to date were the two passenger side window motors and of course brake pads. Still going strong. You can't go wrong with the Pilot or the Passport.
leyenda61 the gearshift buttons don’t bother me, did take a week to get use to it. I had a 2016 accord touring and can’t remember having 360 parking camera don’t think and Honda car have them. Or at least can’t remember if they do.
I wish Honda offered a steel rim option for their “off road” vehicle. I know you’re not going to race Baja in one of these, but it’d be nice for fire roads and shallow stream crossings for camping trips.
Great Review congratulations love the Passport what’s so crazy is that I saw And Honda Passport Sport today it was black it’s very nice. And cool Honda let Mason drive.
Great vid!! I really like how u guys break everything down!! This might be the new SUV I buy my wife since it looks real rugged and we plan on taking the family on canyon trips. THX, MASON AND DREW.
Excellent review. I own Honda Passport ExL Awd n I love it. it's a complete 2 Row SUV with a huge space and fun travel for families. cons: interior is boring
I tried both the new Honda CR-V Hybrid vs the new Toyota Corolla Touring 2L Hybrid, the Corolla being the better driving, bigger boot, much cheaper car to buy and to drive, my opinion, being 6'4" and shoesize 15😎. Never thought I would prefer the stationcar over a SUV
My best friend was one of the first in the country to get one on Jan 31. She got a touring. I love her truck. Wish there were a few minor changes but overall it’s a nice suv.
I am seriously considering buying a Passport in the hopefully not too distant future. I just want something that has the sure footedness of a mountain goat in wet weather with the right tires.
I like the passport look more. It looks more sport type and aggressive. Also in my opinion if the took so ideas of the interior layout from the new accord like the display and steering wheel than it would look amazing. Who else agrees?
It would be nice if they offered a wood trim instead of the high gloss piano black. Two knobs on the center display like the Accord would be nice too. Plus a darker grey leather would look better than the light grey they are using.
@@1MarkKeller i am always looking out for them & i do double-takes to confirm whether it is a Pilot or Passport that I see. I imagine most ppl wouldn't do that, though
Great review in one of my favorite places on earth. I think this is the one I am getting. BTW, from a mom with two sons, you 2 are so cute working together!
Congrats on 100k! I’m happy for y’all!! The Honda Passport is ok, my momma has a 2011 Honda Pilot now, she wants a 2020 Hyundai palisades now!!! It’s awesome that mason Finally got to drive lol!
Whaaaaaaaaaa Mason is driving, this is truly an epic review hands down. First ever press event and Mason driving during an in depth review. Would I be able to change the date I chose for when you both will reach 100k subscribers? 😁
I just love your cars review, the way you guys demonstrate every vehicle and the pause you take in every line just make the review “THE BEST” . Best wishes and congratulations in advance for the 100k subscribers. Nepal🇳🇵🇳🇵 #visitNepal2020
It would be nice if Honda make a cockpit look, on all the vehicles. With real round neddel gauge's instead. Just like they did with the 2004 Honda Civic. And build them tougher off the ground. Like Toyota. They would make a killing in sales.
I have been looking at a new Passport. My preference is for a white exterior and a tan (ish) interior. The dealer says at the Touring level, I have a interior choice of black or :ivory", and for my exterior color of white, black only. That seems incredibly stupid. In this video, he says choice of tan as well as others. So, is the video wrong? Is the dealer pushing 2019 model with limited color choice versus 2020? Does anyone know for sure? At this point I'm holding on buying the car, as I dislike paying nearly $40k for a car and have to take a color combo which is undesirable. (Black is too hot; white gets dirty. What were they thinking, if at all?)
Never heard of that...you should have access to every exterior color combo at Touring level. Sometimes a certain exterior will lock you into a certain interior color but that's all that could happen. Hope this helps!
2020 seat color choices are black and light grey. The rest of the interior color is black - everywhere no matter what color seats are. I don't like that at all but I did buy an Elite.

How does this car behave on a dirt road? I know it is not a Jeep Wrangler, but one should be able to go to Death Valley and drive over some dirt road? Is it not good for that?
I just subscribed. #144001. I'm considering purchasing this vehicle. How reliable are they? How do they compare in reliability with the Toyota rav 4, 4 runner, etc.?
Nice, welcome to the Car Confections 'family'! The Passport hasn't been out long so there are not really any reliability information out right now, but the very similar Pilot is rated as above average in reliability
A mini Pilot looks better Needs a new engine a more powerful engine for outdoors fun very spacious in the back seat Almost 100 K subscribers :-) :-)Nice Mason driving looks good
Don’t waste your money I own the 2019 passport and it’s the cheapest made vehicle I have ever owned! Has 2800 miles on it and sounds like 12 cats fighting in the oil pan! So dissatisfied! Payed $43,000 offered me $28,000 to trade it in one month after I purchased it with 600 miles on it, had 4 miles when I bought it! Everything you touch feels like cheap plastic on this vehicle!

Did he mention 2 front lumbars? If not add additional $500 after market specialist installation.

If this review is for the 2020 Passport. What is the difference between the 2019 and the 2020?
No difference.
J J When is the 2020 coming out?
retractable mirrors? mpg? 360 camera? led? suspension? noise? automatic telescope?
What video camera did you use ?
Did he slam on the brakes? Stopping might be important.
I love this car
Just give me an ELEMENT!
45k for 2021 elite, still a little steep. I would take the 4runner for that much🤔

Such a shame that this Passport has a timing belt and not a timing chain! It means every 60k miles you have to spend 1500$ to replace it.
