Hi Kyle, Another great video! Speaking of driving you mentioned the Rivian. I wonder if you have driven your Rivian in All Purpose mode since the .34 software upgrade? I found it to be a smoother drive and wonder if you feel it as well or not?

@OutofSpecreviews, Can’t wait for your review on i5 M60. I am looking to either buy the new i5 or newly price dropped model S Plaid. Been a tesla owner for a while but I really miss the German quality every time i sit in one. Also, with Plaid’s rear inner tire wear I am bit confused to pay a bit more and go for the bimmer or take the bullet and put up with Tesla’s usual shortcomings with Plaid? Appreciate if you clarify this in your upcoming i5 video.

@@KDR816I really love my flat floors in my cars. Makes the rear middle seat usable for a passenger and I use the flat floor for cargo often.
@@carholic-sz3qv nothing "wrong" with it. It's just nicer to have more space for your feet! Especially if you ever want to use the middle seat!

The BMW EV with the "George Forman Grill"....Front Grill! LOL!
Interesting about the nausea factor in these isolated vehicles. Nothing similar but I once put on some noise cancelling headphones while coming into a city (stupid I know) and it was a very weird experience. Didn't last 5 minutes.
So glad someone else sees the Duracell battery in that paint scheme. Like old top gear used to say about the Porsche Panamera, it's a great car when you don't have to look at it.
This car is amazing!
Now, BMW just needs to start getting digital mirror cameras. Especially for that theater screen and rear shade. The driver can't see a thing. Also, with that "look at the side mirror and the car changes lanes automatically" thing is dumb. Since you can't see with the center mirror, you'll constantly be looking at the side mirrors.
Who was filming by the "coppertop" BMW. It was very elaborate.

Kyle, is it possible they left the transmission and drive shaft tunnel wasting considerable space. At the rear bumper, are we looking at holes for exhaust pipes. If yes, that’s horrible for $170K. I assume it has rear wheel steering. This EV has more luxury than my EQS 580. Handling is probably better in the M7, but I like interior & exterior of MB better.

I really enjoy all you guys channels. This is cool info. I do wish the word “modern” was used instead of “Tesla” when talking about technologies.
For those of us who don't need the M70/race car at the track but would appreciate the hands-down absolute BEST VALUE for everyday driving of the three i7 trims, WHEN IS SOMEBODY GOING TO REVIEW the 449HP i7 eDrive50?!? I'd love to hear how a professional compares it to the "mid-range" 536HP i7 xDrive60 experience. The only differences I'm aware of after my test drive (besides the unnecessary HP increase) are that the "x" is AWD (compared to the "e's" RWD -- which I don't need in CA anyway) and the LED roof is standard (compared to the "e's" glass roof which you can ADD the LED lights for an extra charge). Other than that, it's the EXACT same car in every way -- both even have the exact same 549 lb-ft. torque for the same acceleration from a standing stop or for entering freeways, etc., AND the eDrive50 has the LONGEST RANGE of all the i7s -- ALL for $20,000 less than the xDrive60 and $60,000 less than this M70, a STELLAR price!! Given this information, it seems this sleeper-of-a-deal vehicle SCREAMS for a review which I'm sure would be appreciated by many who -- based on all the voluminous UA-cams of the xD60 and M70 exclusively -- are probably largely unaware of it. BTW, putting my money where my mouth is, I DID factory order a loaded eDrive50 myself, for Dec/Jan delivery -- such a steal (even irrespective of my 7% off MSRP)!! Why in the world has a review of this amazingly-worthy eDrive50 escaped the attention of any competent reviewer? But hey, no problem, because I already got mine coming!! 🙂

I just can't get over the front end on that thing. Not attractive to me. I think The high point for the 7 series was the E38, even better an Alpina B12 6.0. But even the other new models are not great looking, and I'm no BMW hater, my last ice car was an E90 335d.

The auto doors is a nice feature but software, sensors and motors not in sync with real world usage.
Thus, the auto door motors will likely prematurely fail and/or overheating fire risk as the functionality is not dialed in yet as it resists real world usage, constantly resisting user input.
Hopefully they can be deactivated via the vehicles software settings until the technology improves to be congruent with real world usage.

These cars have no soul. If at least the electric motors screamed as you pushed the accelerator. But it's just nothing. No sound, no feedback. I want 90s cars back again.
I don't understand the comparison with the Tesla Plaid. BMW, Mercedes and Audi are on a completely different level than Tesla Price is not the trigger to buy the M70. Quality and appearance is. Tesla just doesn't deliver the build quality.

BMW murdered the 7 series back in 2003 and never looked back. This new design's exterior is so hideous, especially the front end. They had near perfection with the E38 7 series. Why BMW, why?

The whole front end isn't too great to me. WOuld love to see a simpler design rather than the weird grill not a grill.

Te engineering behind the current 7-Series is to say the least incredible but god damn it's easily one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen, and for sure one of the ugliest BMW have ever made, and I'm saying this when their X-models exist. This makes the Pontiac Aztek and the Chrysler PT Cruiser look normal.

That car looks so ugly, it really doesn't matter how fast it is, or how luxurious it is, or how nice the interior is. Just gross.
Small youtubers like this are often overly positive to all the vehicles they are testing. They are afraid of not being invited to future press drives from the manufacturers. So take what he says with a grain of salt. Go for a test drive yourself instead.
