I installed mine this way, but my ground went to the body ground not the one on the battery. And I noticed at night the back light of the radio would slightly flicker when it was all on and running. When I pulled out the fuse tap and put it back together stock, the radio flicker stopped. Was that because the body ground was not good enough? Would putting the ground on the battery terminal screw be a better more solid ground than the one that goes behind it to the body? I had to leave it all unplugged. The backlight flickering on the radio was distracting and I didnt want to damage the radio screen.
Glad to see you guys have grown. I was one of the first people to buy when you guys first came out with the Tranzformer for my 06 RT on the Charger forums.
@zautomotive so you don’t need the $62.77 “The Security Gateway Bypass Module” if you purchase this “Double-Bypass is a security gateway bypass” for $50.03? Correct?
That depends on the vehicle. The security gateway bypass is for Durango and Grand Cherokee. While the Double Bypass (which was the install in this vehicle) is for the the Charger, Challenger, and Chrysler 300 See the page for details: www.zautomotive.com/product/z_tzr/#security-bypass-modules
Can the security pin be disabled for dealer service? If a theif was to locate the Tazer and remove it, is the car now vulnerable to theft? With the Tazer installed and a pin code set can the car with an automatic transmission be stolen by releasing the hidden neutral/park release?...Great video.
I have a tazer for my 2018 r/t I’m basically looking to get the super track pack options the question i have is am I able to get those specific things without the airbag light going off ?
If you set the SRT mode on 2015 to present Charger 3.6 or 5.7 models the vehicle will throw an airbag light. It is a vehicle configuration mismatch and not something the TaZer can change
Quick question you said you wouldn’t recommend putting Hellcat splash screen on sxt challenger ? If I did would cause issues to my car or ecm or engine .
Could any of this process cause battery drain? I'm trying to diagnose everything I can. If I don't drive my car for about a week, even in ship mode, will cause the battery to be dead.
Can this double bypass cause battery draining issues? I installed mine about two weeks ago and I'm suddenly having problems with battery drainage... My battery tested good. Replacing the battery just in case..
I believe I didn’t properly do the two sleep cycles after configuring vehicle settings.. I unmarried the tazer, and did a full reboot followed by two sleep cycles then unplugged the tazer..Haven’t had any problems since. I’m going to wait afew more days to make sure I’ve properly diagnosed the problem, then I’ll get the tazer going again! Thank you!
Best instructional video EVERRRR thank you!!
What a nice comment. We work very hard to bring the best installation videos that we can make for our products, so your comment is greatly appreciated
Swear. I'm watching at my desk and can't wait to get home and install it.
Happy to be of service@@brandonmurray4895
Nice to see an official video! I had to use a few 3rd party ones last week, this is much clearer.
Thanks for the comment. We’re happy with how it came out

Can I double bypass my 2014 charger rt ?
Yes, see the description: 2011-2017, the double bypass can be used as a secondary OBD2 or a way to hide the TaZer

@@zautomotive understandable appreciate the feedback.
If I buy a new pcm for tuning purposes, do I have to unmarry the tazer before installing the unlocked pcm?
Yes: www.zautomotive.com/FAQ/
Quick question you said you wouldn’t recommend putting Hellcat splash screen on sxt challenger ? If I did would cause issues to my car or ecm or engine .
No, you’d just get an airbag light

It shouldn’t, but if a reboot and two sleep cycles wasn’t performed correctly it’s possible. Please email support@zautotech.com

I just installed mine on a 2018 AWD pursuit, did the option to keep it in rwd get removed? I was looking forward to that

Can you make a video on how to make the DLR brighter while you're headlight or turn on at night. Or just with fog lights on.
Our product doesn't affect luminance
Just purchased & installed tazer on my 2019 charger I don’t see PIN code setting

Can I connect the CARLOCK security product to the OBD port under the steering wheel while connecting taper to the obd in the trunk?
Sure
The good ol 10mm socket
Do u have to leave it plugged in or can u unplug it
For all live features it needs to be plugged in
Do you need the double bypass cause mine only has two wires
I’m not totally sure what you’re asking… you need the double bypass if you have a 2018+ model
I have one but the the lights won’t come on all wires all in the proper spot not sure what’s the issue

How would I do this for a 2019 Jeep Cherokee KL?
Currently, the Double Bypass is not suitable to be used on the Jeep Cherokee
Tazer dt everytime I automatic start my ram trx 2021 it unlocks the driver door
Why?
What’s that have to do with the TaZer?
So what does this thing do???
Please read the description
Any idea on why it keeps resetting my radio?

any plans to add taZer support for pre-2015 challenger?
Unlikely, but you can request it here: www.zautomotive.com/suggestions/
@@zautomotive thanks will do. I was hoping for at least the pin locking feature would be great for us folks who own older challengers.
Fake stock cars don’t do it
Ummm what???
