Glad I read through your comments. I am in the process o getting a 2020 Frostbite redeye and saw you put that they already have the white built in. Now i can purchase the boards from Fasty's and not the whole kit. One thing I recommend is changing the discount from 10% to $10 since that is all it takes off now. Thanks for the tips and this will be a welcome upgrade when I get my car.

I don't plan on putting these on but I love how informative the video is. What made me watch it was that I just bought my first Challenger SXT and I found out I could remove the caps and it is cool to have the headlight intakes open but then I got freaked out about the thought of dirt and leaves and rain getting inside the engine bay. Are these really safe to keep open?
🙏 thank you. I had no issues with them open other than some additional cleaning of the wiper reservoir whenever it rained bad. But I wiped down the engine bay every wash so it was no big deal.
Even if you don’t wipe it down it’s ok.

For sure. I had added the d.i.p.s screen with l.e.d strips to the back lip. Looks good but not like these. So I'm changing them

I'm assuming they will work off a switched power source too? That's for those that just want to drive with them, set it and forget it and not have to fuss with the app.
Also, you can easily cap the passenger side intake tube from the back. I did it on my old '18 SXT with a cut-down plastic fountain drink cup painted black and a black 3" band clamp. With the Fasty's, just notch the DIY cap a little bit to allow the wiring to pass through.
My '18 T/A came with a cap on the back of the passenger side, post-15 (or 16?) Hellcat models have the same, and it's capped inside on BOTH sides with the '19 Scats (including the Widebody!), Shakers, GTs and R/Ts now that they all have the lit Rhombus Air Catchers as standard, only the Hellcats and T/A's actually have functional inlets on the driver's side from the factory.
From what I see they go off and back on at the last setting when power is pulled and reapplied. I just need to see how they behave if I use a relay to power them up with the DRLs and if the controller holds the settings over a day, days, weeks, etc.
My goal is to set them to white and have them work just like the OEM.
@@WorkPlayDrive First. Love all your vids. I know you're working with your Kitty now but I too would like to just have them turn on when the car starts and turn off when car turns off. Any ideas how I would go about doing that? I asked this very question to Fred at Fasty's. Hopefully he has an idea.
I was speaking about this with Fred when I ran into him at Spring Fest. I think he was going to work on something for this.
You can also tap the side marker with a relay as the power source. This will give you on/off with the lights. But if you want to run them with the car off then it gets a little more complex.
I have been trying to get the cap off on the driver said I used the clips but it’s not budging is there an adhesive or something I have 2019 challenger

My Mopar Shaker Airbox tube fits over it, I just needed to cut a small opening to allow the wiring to come though. The Hellcat Airbox tube should fit over this as well.

Can these be wired directly into both inlet light wires themselves, instead of the headlight harness? My 2021 Challenger Scat Pack shaker has these wired and illuminated already? Thanks!

Yes you can run a relay in to switch the power on and off with the headlights. You can tap into the side marker positive.

Ahhh. That’s “shocka on the beats” shocka252 is the creator of the music, he’s a nice dude and fellow Mopar owner and allows us to use his music on our channels. That’s why he’s popping up a lot. I met him through RTlife at one of his meets.

Doesn't say anything on the data sheet about temps, when I first started using it, I would experiment on something I could toss out. It's not like you can't take the VHB off, it just requires about 10x more the effort.@@WorkPlayDrive
Can these work with the halo ring RGBW lights ?
well, it looks i lucked out and got the caps with the screws! (no 3 tabs) anyone know how to get the 2 little screws out so the caps can come off? it seems i have no tools that will fit them, not even those mini screwdrivers will work, like you use with computers, etc. they just have little round dimples on the end. any help really be appreciated! thanks
So do you have to manually turn them on and off when you want to use them? Or can you set it up to just start up when you start your car? Basically how the drls work?
Out of the box they are a manual on/off because most of the time you will be using the. With the car off and parked. But with a series of relays you can wire them to on/off with the car.

Yes, the tubes re-light with the color selected.
Can I connect the lit inlet tube lights to my diode dynamic controller?
I can’t say for sure you will want to reach out to fastys garage on that I do know he is able to sync the halos to the inlets.

It’s in now it covers up 1/2 the tube but doesn’t touch it. I just pull it out when I want to show off the lights.

I bought these tubes and use the exact app to control the lights you used in your video. I can't for the life of me obtain that Super White light you did. I managed to get the real nice Orange but not the ultra white. I tried using the Warm / Dark but still get slightly blue hue or yellow hue. Any feedback appreciated.

I wired them so they can stay on when the car is off. I turn them on and off with the Bluetooth app. You can do the same or wire it to go on with the car.
Did you do the IP65 controller? And if so what exactly is the difference?
Yes The IP65 controller is epoxy sealed and waterproof the other one is if you plan on installing it inside the car. The upgrade is totally worth it

Quick question I connected the Negative wire to my ground connection. Now my Positive wire goes to my positive connection knot or into my headlight connection were I use those connectors to crimp?

@@WorkPlayDrive It's nothing fancy. Just mounted a tube, similar to what your Cervinis uses; but it's attached to the back of the headlight. I don't have an air cleaner "box" anymore with the Blackhawk intake that I have.

Ahhh I see you got that thing silicone sealed on there I would say it's still possible, someone I follow made me a 3d printed adapter. to go over the fasty's inlet tube, allow the wire to come through then reconnect to the inlet tube I installed on the other side of the engine bay. I should have some pics of this coming soon on my Instagram.
@@WorkPlayDrive Actually, it's JB Welded to the inside of the headlight tube. That thing isn't coming off unless I replace the whole headlight assembly.

Do you think there is any way these might work with DIPS? I know it will cover them up somewhat but I still like having them there since I have the tube right to the airbox.
Sadly the dips would cover these up. You would still get the glow through. How bad is your area? I’ve got over 20000 miles with no screen and never had something big in the airbox.

Is there a way to wire them to be on whenever the car is on, headlights or daytime running lights, and still turns off when the car is off?
Yes you just need to add a relay that triggers the power to the lights when the side markers go on.
In this setup you lose the ability to turn on the lights to show when the car is off.

Nope, these are designed for the challenger but lightingtrendz.com/ makes some awesome kits for the Durango.

Yep Fasty’s garage has replacement LED packs to install in the factory inlet tubes.

I have a 2019 Hellcat Redeye that use the air tubes actively. Do these light tubes restrict any appreciable airflow?
you don't need these for the redeye they are all ready installed in white. I believe Fastys has or is making the color boards for them now if you want them colored. .
Kinda pissed as Fred from Fasty’s knows that I have a Redeye, but never even alluded to that...he just let me order the tubes and told me to remove the OEM’s. Kinda shady.
It is possible he didn’t make the color boards I remember talking to him a while back about it. It may just he easier for the end user to install his sealed units rather than open the factory tubes and modify.
From my experience with him over the last few years. He’s not the type of guy to deceive and sell you something you don’t need. Just ask him about it.
Work Play Drive Thank you for taking the time to respond. No, he doesn’t seem like that, and you’re probably right. My concern is how difficult it would be to remove the old tubes...do they have the butyl tape? I know the cover has star key set screws, but don’t know about the tube itself. If it has butyl tape, how would I go about removing it?
I believe the back of the housing has 3 or 4 screws holding the inlet tubes in place.
great video! hi i have a question, what's the difference between the RGBW bluetooth upgrade IP65 to the standard controller. i've ordered mines already but did not upgrade, wondering if i made a mistake...
Thank you 🙏 The ip68 is waterproof where the original controller is not. You will need to mount the standard controller somewhere it will not be exposed to dirt and water.

Hello I received the lights customized to an aftermarket headlight for 2014 challenger , my question is related to wiring , since I’m not going to use my fog lights anymore ( upgraded the bumper ) , can I connect this to car fog light wires without all of this wiring complications and touching the fuse box ? I don’t need it to blink with the right or left signal I just want to use the oem fog light switch to turn them on and off - appreciate your reply
I’m not sure if it’s gonna work 100% because the fogs are controlled by the bus so you may have some issues with flickering when you use it for anything but an incandescent bulb

2015 headlights will not fit in the 2014
Light will fit as I changed the front end , my question about the diameter of the led , is 2015 the same as the vland that I have

I’ve seen some hand held remote controllers for similar lights but you need to contact Fasty’s to see what works with his systems.

what’s behind the driver side tube? is it directly to the airbox, is their a catch net? what’s keeping all the debris rain out of the manifold?
I've had it piped into the airbox, at first it was the hellcat airbox and ducts, then with the shaker I installed the Mopar shaker tube. Both have a bend in them deflecting the water and debris. just about 4 years with it open and no issues. I also don't live in Love Bug country, I'm guessing those guys need something like this bit.ly/2PG3Ops
so the led inlet will work with those screens you linked?
Yes, but the screens will of course take away from the view as they are sitting in view between your eyes and the lit tubes.

The price tag is not for everyone but far cheaper than buying the OEM light.
Just buy any 2019 R/T or GT and get the lit Rhombus version from FCA for free. :)

Yes but way cheaper than replacing with the OEM part with kit inlets.
You WILL NOT GET ARRESTED🤦♂️ you may get ticketed For driving with colored lights but that is the case with the hundreds of thousands of cars on the road that I have colored lighting. We all know Colored lights are for off the road use only.
As long as you're not moving with the colored lights on, it's fine. These are mainly for show when at a stop (car meets, etc.).

Do these fit with the Merrick air intake rings?
Yes but the current Merrick rings cover some of the tube. They are making a set for these very soon though.
The Merrick rings come out easily without touching the lit inlet rings at all. So I pop them in and out for now.
Another option is the Scalia-Motorsports Diablo rings they fit without covering.
