The Orlando furioso thing is Roland. Him, his arc and all of the characters part of his backstory are based on it. Including his main card, Furioso and his wrapon Durandel. The characters being the obvious Angelica, and Astolfo and Olivier the latter two being two other knights of Charlemagne.

The original LoR ending was cut due to Korean's player backslash feeling like the ending was a bait for another game. Which is fucking stupid considering we did end up getting another game and a planned direct sequel. I have conflicted feelings on this because on one hand, the backslash was just unwarranted and dumb and on the other Poems on the Machine is beautiful.
Which is so weird to me because lobotomy corporation LITERALLY did that for Ruina, ig maybe because it was a smaller niche game people didnt care at the time? Regardless thats such a weird sentiment to have, like of course they’re gonna make another game
To point a small thing out about Parker: In the original cover for the first chapter, Catt isn't present, with Parker taking their place. Then from the second cover onwards, Catt now takes the place of Parker in the cover because Parker gets killed.
As a note to the legacy abnormalities, there’s one I never get heard about a lot: hammer of light, I don’t know a whole lot about hammer of light, but what I do know is that it can’t be accessed unless a breach happens, in that case the employee sent to it can use it to gain massive buffs to kill the abnormality, and they die when the breach is over
The virtues as unused ego pages for Library of Ruina were probably planned when making the concept of a veteran librarian version of the assistant librarian page that probably would have been used as a upgrade after you get the max level of a floor realization. Think about it: the assistants start out weak and even have lines for stating such a thing, assistant pages are the weakest but less so to rats, and the art book depicts what looks to be extra cutscenes for angela reminiscing on the friends she's going to miss before going into the light and the floor of language cutscene shows what looks to be a more battle-hardened librarian armed with a riot shield showing that it was probably considered before getting scrapped. If project moon does make it in creating that open world game in the future, I really hope they go back into their old roots and consider bringing back the things they had to scrap in their other games and world building concepts.
really awesome video! it definitely shows how much work you put into it, everything is really well-researched (weirdness of the iceberg itself aside LOL with its interesting choices of placement) speaking of which, i love how nobody can agree on roland's black silence status LOL. i also disagree with the 'angelica /also/ was the black silence' on the iceberg, because angelica was the only black silence- roland was just grade 1, he had a perception blocking mask which made nobody able to recognize him and just chalked him up to "oh it's the black silence" because they fought similarly, since the musicians of bremen refer to the black silence coming in and killing the pianist, meaning there wasn't a change in title (aka roland officially becoming the black silence). great job with the video!
As someone who has a bunch of holes in their knowledge about lovotomy corp and ruina, this was a really good video! Also, the bit with the George of the Jungle animated series was really funny
Okay my guess for the Pixiv Tag entry is that Project Moon, Library of Ruina and Limbus Company are all english tags and due to the weirdness of pixiv and tag making, each of these games have different iterations to how you spelled and some PJM fan art is not present in these similar tags, roughly having 2 different spells each. You might not get art that's in the ProjectMoon tag but is in the Project_Moon tag. There's also a lack of character name tags. Its, no joke, kind of a mess to go through pixiv because the tagging of PJM is so bad.
most of the front page of pixiv is just scantily-clad young anime girls in suggestive poses, and im assuming that this is reflected (not including the children) in the pm fanart. that and the tagging system as well.

Wow, I honestly could not tell at all the Keter realization was rushed. That was such an amazing and immersive experience that felt so natural, I thought I was such a brilliant conclusion. Turns out, they're just like any other person- writes the most beautiful poetic shit when the deadline for your paper is due at 8am which is 3 hours from now and you pulled an all-nighter.
About all of the unused abnormality pages in Ruina In the really early access version, each floor of the library had 10 upgrades. You would spend key pages to unlock upgrades (key pages were infinite at this time) and every 2 upgrades would unlock multiple abnormality pages at once, with each abnormality only having 1-2 pages, but you unlocked 6 pages at a time. Many of the effects from these pages were turned into the 3rd pages of the various abnormalities once the abnormality fight update happened. Funnily enough, silent girl was in the early access version and then removed in the abnormality fight update, many thought she had been scrapped for 2 games in a row until they added her in the Keter realization update as the last abnormality in the game.
25:20 - this entry references the fact that Nothing There is probably the first man-made abno from L-corp. There are 2 types of abnos - the ones that formed and existed naturally way before the events of the game, and all the others, that were made by L-corp Singularity. And yes, there are some abnormalities that existed by themselves from the long time ago. For example, all of the three birds, Nosferatu and, if i remember correctly, Plague Doctor. Anyway, i digress. When Cogito experiments began, one of the first abnormality made from human was Nothing There. The story of its creation was shown in Geburas story in Lob Corp. And judging by some other cut-scenes, it was also the first abno that Carmen extracted E.G.O. equipment, that was later gifted to Gebura. There are some counter arguments against this theory, like "how could they contain such a dangerous abno from the start", but it could be because of already existing abnos Ayin and Carmen collected before starting the human experementation. So the theory is somewhat sound. 38:00 - it's basically a theory that says Carmen is not in the right state of mind after the events of LC, so her actions and desires while coming from the pure heart, are still distorted and misguided. Simply put, Carmen, or the Floor of Da'at, is the only person/floor that technically existed in the main facility, but never had a meltdownt and an epiphany in LC and also never had a Realization in LoR, meaning that Carmen may still be in her "Qliphot", or "reversed" state. Some even theorizes that Limbus is going to be about finally stopping Carmen(because first game was about Ayin's salvation, second one - about Angela's, and Carmen is the only one remained from the "main cast" who never faced her troubles)
It is so incredibly strange to me that the person who made this iceberg put Artbooks in the third tier, and yet for some reason put Clown Smiling at Me, Beanstalk without Jack, Book without Picture or Dialog, Cinderella's Pumpkin Carriage, Pale Horse, Someone's Portrait, Etc. in the fifth tier, despite every one of those cut abnormalities being /in/ the Lob Corp art book. My guess of the Pixiv entry is based on word of mouth from friends who claimed to know about it, but the claim is Pixiv had tons of borderline or straight up CP art of Tiphereth/Lisa and tons of art that glorified or fetishized gore and blood relating to certain abnormalities and Love Town. This is because Pixiv is known for allowing hardcore and sometimes borderline illegal pornographic material on their website.

LC Backer Agent Names: When placing in Names of certain Backers for LC, a custom Agent will appear. "Dream of a Black Swan" is likely a result of the Smoke War: It's known that part of why Old L-Corp was so disliked was as a result of the mental/physical afflictions their energy production byproducts created. The Story of this Abnormality seems to mention this as a cause of its creation. "Open can of Wellcheers" is also a reference to a Urban Korean urban myth about not drinking open cans of soda because there might be drugs, and you'll get kidnapped and forced into manual labor... like some kinda dumbass. Speaking of, The vending machine "Suck my Energy!" in Wonderlab, may be Open Can of Wellcheers' Aberration form. Also! Project moon has, at some point, referred to a notorious glitch as an Abnormality, though I cannot for the life of me remember what name they called it!
for the dream of a black swan thing in library of ruina when youre doing the fight against black swan the background is the one used during the sections in the story where they talk about the smoke war, so yeah im pretty sure that the abnormality is a result of the smoke war also another interesting thing, the story of the abno makes reference to a girl named elijah, who surprisingly isnt malkuth, it just seems to have been an odd coincidence also yeah the warden and the gods of the season look insanely cool, and maybe if they were in lob corp pm could have used them to somehow parallel/reference the gods of the city (another thing not on the list) or something just like they did with the birds, but they seem to intentionally be keeping that part of the lore hidden, which makes me think theyre gonna be really important soon
As a quick addition on the Apocalypse Bird entry on Tier 1: The Black Forest that the birds originate from is theorized to be somewhere in either the City itself, or somewhere in the outskirts! Edit: the Bookhunters. The Bookhunters were a group of wildly disorganized Fixers who took it upon themselves to Brave the Ordeals of the empowered Library in order to recover books from within - and eventually, one of them managed to face down and kill Angela, putting an end to the 13 year chokehold this impuritas civitas had on the city
Downgraded to Star of the City because Angela becomes human- they want her there in that case. Impurities get warped out to the Outskirts if they can't steam roller them.

I would love to watch this entire video without getting spoiled but I never get around completing LC because of the Sephirah suppressions being hard asf and I don't want to play LoR before finishing LC :(
If you're afraid of not understanding the whole picture, then LoR does a great job at explaining what happened with each Sephirah in LC. I've heard a great analogy about this: If you play LoR after LC, you play from the PoV of a certain someone (it's not really a spoiler but I don't know how much you know) who is closely tied with LC, and it's a continuation of LC story. If you play LoR before LC, you play from the PoV of Roland. You're just a guy who somehow got into the library and now has a whole story to uncover. Also you have an ongoing story with library. Personally I spoiled everything in LC and then completed Asiyah and Briah meltdowns after LoR came out. If you just wanna experience story chronologically then gl with suppresions I guess.

for the dream of a black swan thing in library of ruina when youre doing the fight against black swan the background is the one used during the sections in the story where they talk about the smoke war, so yeah im pretty sure that the abnormality is a result of the smoke war
also another interesting thing, the story of the abno makes reference to a girl named elijah, who surprisingly isnt malkuth, it just seems to have been an odd coincidence
also yeah the warden and the gods of the season look insanely cool, and maybe if they were in lob corp pm could have used them to somehow parallel/reference the gods of the city (another thing not on the list) or something just like they did with the birds, but they seem to intentionally be keeping that part of the lore hidden, which makes me think theyre gonna be really important soon

Well some things don’t line up but im assuming maybe Ruina referenced it or Roland’s character was referenced or inspired off the poem because of how project moon likes to make literary references in their games (specifically limbus company)

If you're afraid of not understanding the whole picture, then LoR does a great job at explaining what happened with each Sephirah in LC. I've heard a great analogy about this:
If you play LoR after LC, you play from the PoV of a certain someone (it's not really a spoiler but I don't know how much you know) who is closely tied with LC, and it's a continuation of LC story.
If you play LoR before LC, you play from the PoV of Roland. You're just a guy who somehow got into the library and now has a whole story to uncover. Also you have an ongoing story with library.
Personally I spoiled everything in LC and then completed Asiyah and Briah meltdowns after LoR came out.
If you just wanna experience story chronologically then gl with suppresions I guess.
