- When unexpected events occur the first question is usually, "what are my options?" When it comes to an unplanned pregnancy, the answer can seem a bit more complicated. This week we learn from King David the hard truths of how to keep one mistake from leading to another. __

There is so much fear surrounding young women with unplanned pregnancies and there is just one thing missing in this wonderful sermon. Even the most worrying circumstances can bring you the most beautiful blessing.
My husband died a week before our son's first birthday and I was almost 4 months pregnant with our second one and very young. I had to be sedated and I remember the doctor saying I might lose the baby if I don't hold down water and food and I heard my mother's friend say "Maybe it would be just as well if that happens as she is very ill and might have a breakdown." The nurse that kept visiting me did say the option was still there to terminate for another month and I was really shocked because no one said that to me when my husband was alive. I was told it would be quite likely I would have problems bonding and that I'd have post natal depression. Being upset through the pregnancy, I was told would make the baby a cranky baby.
Do you know what I did every time I got scared or upset? I prayed with my hand on my tummy that it wouldn't affect the baby and I could feel the baby reach for my hand. They warned me when I had my scans that the baby was very tiny and may be taken into neo natal as soon as the birth happened. I kept praying with my hand on the baby "Please don't let my baby be too fragile or underweight. I'm scared. What if I don't bond well as I'm so depressed?"
Well, she was born on time, expected to be about 5lbs, but was 9lb 1oz and her head was so large she almost couldn't be plotted on the graph! All the newborn clothes people gave her had to be sent back as she was the size of a 3 month old! And as far as bonding went, when she cried I was so desperate to hold her, that when a nurse didn't come to pass her to me, I threw my legs over the bed to stand up and get her and I crashed onto the floor as I'd disobeyed what they'd told me about the epidural. She won "Smile of the Week" when she was a few months old and was always laughing.
Don't ever let anyone fill your mind with all the negative thoughts, but tell God everything because he cares for you and is with you in it.
that’s a blessing, thank you for sharing
@@peanutbutterknitting Thank you. Philippians 4:6-9 has always been my motto scripture that I used to keep stuck to my fridge. We are really well. My daughter is grown up now and is a very strong young woman, very beautiful and is a talented script writer now. I am so proud of her. She is a really kind and generous young woman.
Hey I’m here going on my fifth child and I’m just 30 honestly didn’t ready...and all these Negative thoughts 💭 are in my head 🥺 my family’s are going be upset with me and I’m not really Financially stable and the circumstances around me is not the rich and famous life style ...thought come in my head about abortion I’m feel confuse and lost 😞
@@Tfrancis1991 Praying for you and your family Tamara. I have been abandoned after my second marriage failed and I know it isn't easy. I had twins in my second marriage, making a total of 4 and no financial support. At present, I don't even get the same help from the state as other single mums as my ex is getting the money instead even though the kids are with me. But I will say that the Lord has always provided for me. My church has given us food when I never even asked and the Lord provided a job for me when I lost my job at the beginning of the pandemic. My teenage kids are really hardworking and appreciate things more because it has been a good discipline for them to see me do this. I was raised quite wealthy and had a lot materially growing up, so I know the difference in lifestyle, but I am so proud of the drive I see in my kids now. You will be strong and can go forward and not see this as a negative. Jesus did not come from a wealthy family, but from a hardworking one. The disciples were simple fishermen. God uses these people to do great things!
But yet people don't want the child to have healthcare, there tax money,oh no.an eating pork ,shellfish, tattoos, rape baby, incestuous baby, severely disabled. where most end up in a facility.look at death penalty, animals are loyal have spinal cords feel pain, protect there babies, that's human life, were neanthrasal, animals on 2 feet.hyprocrite
i loved this so much. it helped me realize what i can say to those going through this. Thank you.
Incredible sermon.
Thank you for this powerful message
What message?
when i was 19 i was living with a girl i thought we would be together always and eventually get married, i impregnated her and although i wanted the child i supported her decision to abort. THIS HAS HAUNTED ME OVER THE YEARS. Am i forgiven, does the blood of Jesus cleanse such despicable deeds? I fear for my salvation and regret that decision more than all the bad choices and i have made some doozeys.
God has forgiven you when you repented. God bless ( Acts 2:38)
You will be forgiven.
Ask for forgiveness. His love covers a multitude of sins. He loves you so much!
I know it’s been a year since you wrote that, but the short answer is yes, God can forgive you.
Look at the redemption story of Manasseh, who was a wicked king in the Old Testament (2 Chronicles 33). He murdered his children by sacrificing them in horrific, fiery rituals to idols. God warned him to repent, but he didn’t, so God dealt judgment by sending enemies to attack the kingdom. While in captivity, Manasseh repented and cried out to God, who forgave and restored him to his kingdom.
This was God’s mercy in the Old Testament, when the blood of animals was needed to cover sin, so picture how much the Blood of Jesus cleanses you.
Taps into "it" referring to a woman? Classy.
"Have perspective" says a man talking about abortion, and "healing" when he himself has never had to face those options. The issues are never as black and white as they are presented, but I appreciate they at least have a program that offers adoption and resources. Also calling out racism is good, but those images are an inappropriate comparison to abortion-that sounds a lot like guilting and shaming people even though they said that's not their intent.
I’m late to this, but the point of not being judgmental is not about lessening the wrongness about the action, it’s about who it’s directed at. The difference between truthfulness and shaming is the difference between “abortion is wrong” and “you had an abortion therefore you are a bad person.” It’s separating the act from the person.
This should have a lot of views… just sayin.
God's things suprises I took pills to abort my baby but never bleed and still growing in my tummy.. I never wanted to do it but because of my husband who doesn't want more babies found myself taking pills...I pray for God's forgiveness its really bothering I wanted to kill innocent soul because wanted to make another person happy 😭🙏🙏
I agree with his story. Two adults doing what they shouldn't. What about child molestation? Rape? Incest?
Why not touch on these subjects?? This is easy with his scenario! Help me understand!
That’s a very low number compared to the number of abortions done merely for birth control
@@DeeandCeeT but it still is an issue! It must be addressed even if it don't meet your count. I agree, it should not be used because you were cheating on your spouse. Kinda like this story!!
Hi! The pastor briefly touched on this topic around the 35 minute mark if im not mistaken. Overall Rape/Incest are truly terrible situations that I can never understand myself. But if one believe in God, know he is all understanding & want's to use the victims situation for his glory. if they don't, I'm sorry that they don't. The unborn yet living baby should not have to suffer & lose it's life for others mistakes/complications. I hope this helps you with more understanding of this topic. Much love.
I'm increasingly nauseated by Christians who feel entitled to insert Christian doctrine into this issue when not everyone in the world is Christian. Especially male Christians who will never, ever, ever, ever have to face such a devastating choice. Whether we like it or agree with it or not, other people have a right to make their own choices.
As a Christian woman, I personally would not have an abortion unless my life was in danger or the baby would be born with an untreatable, fatal birth defect. But no one else has to agree with my choices and I don't have to agree with theirs. If a woman decides to have an abortion, that is between her and God and no one else. In cases of rape, incest, fatal birth defects or an immediate danger to the mother's life, there is NO logical reason to eliminate abortion as a viable option.
And if these people who are SO "concerned" about saving innocent lives, I can't for the life of me figure out why seemingly none of these same people can be bothered to do anything to actually HELP the problem.
What prevents more abortions? Comprehensive scientifically-based sex ed or an impassioned (grammatically incorrect) speech on Facebook? What serves a scared pregnant woman more? Sonograms, guilt trips and pamphlets full of half-truths and sentimentality or a safe home to stay in, food, water, clothing and medical care? If so-called "Pro-Life" people are gonna talk about the sanctity of life, they need to BE about it. Just as a reminder, "life" includes the life and well-being of mothers too.
"Sanctity of life" also includes the life of convicted inmates on death row. But some of y'all really aren't ready for that conversation yet. 🐸☕
Do not claim god’s name while promoting abortion your making a fool of yourself. Your point of view really just let everyone who read it know where your heart is. First read flag i got from reading this was just the way you adressed the situation. from your point of inserting the christian doctrine to this issue....THATS WHAT A CHRISTIAN IS SUPPOSED TO DO! we are supposed to analyze any situation and determine if thats againts Gods law or if god has no problem with it . Another red flag i got from your comment was the weak argument of “people have the right to make their own choices” OF COURSE THEY DO doesn’t make it right at all. It doesn’t take rocket science to know that having murder as a viable option is wrong , you don’t need to be a women to know that.
Why I took the time to comment this is because you claimed to be a women of faith. If you claimed to be a women of this world i would of just kept scrolling and going about my day. If you truly where a women of faith your number 1 priority would be serving and Living for the lord and savior Jesus christ. I hope your faith grows and matures to a point where you realize that god is your purpose on this earth. He is the reason you breath and get to enjoy the blessings of this earth, please stay as far away you can from the teachings of this world and transfer your FULL trust on the teachings of God. May the lord give you wisdom and peace may God Bless You as you go on your journey.❤️
@@joseposada7706 My faith isn't the issue here. Your heartlessness is. At the end of the day, it doesn't even matter what I do or don't believe because I only get to make choices for myself. No amount of faith gives me the right to impose my will on the life of another person. No amount of faith gives me the right to steal another person's free will. No amount of faith gives me the right to tell anyone else what to do.
Until Christians start walking the walk as far as taking care of women and children in crisis, we don't get a say on this topic at ALL. If you only care about a woman for the duration of her pregnancy or a child while it is inutero, you don't really care about either one. You only care about furthering your agenda and that's fine, but you should just say that instead of hiding behind cherry-picked Scripture and a bunch of self-righteous indignation.
If you are TRULY "Pro-Life", you should be advocating for affordable healthcare for all (especially pregnant women), access to safe, affordable housing and higher education, expanding programs like SNAP and WIC benefits so that young mothers can feed themselves and their children, funding daycares and schools in disadvantaged communities so that child will have access to a proper education once it's old enough and ending the death penalty in every state, once and for all.
My heart is with the suffering. My heart is with the lost and afraid. My heart is with those who are all alone in this world and desperately need someone to care. My heart is exactly where Jesus said it SHOULD be. It doesn't seem like the same can be said for you. So, while I appreciate the prayers, you should really worry about yourself. God bless.
@@singerg02 Look im not trying to win a argument here, Its looks like your coming from a more emotional state than a biblical one. From what I read in scripture your point of view is not supported. If you have biblical evidence to support your view i would love to hear it. But remember Jesus isn’t just about love, He Is also about justice.
@@singerg02 also the bible teaches men to love their women like Jesus loved the church. I don’t know what churches you have personally witnessed not care about women or children but don’t be surprised if you do, the bible teaches that there are hypocrites in the church, people that claim the name of jesus but preach against his teaching.
@@singerg02didn’t read the last part of your reply🤦🏽♂️ “so while I appreciate the prayers, you should really worry about yourself”......huh? That would be called being selfish and would be unbiblical...
You give birth to the human life you have created! End of subject! 🙏
Well if your not ready then why should someone judge you on a decision that they are not going through or going to make?
Precious human life unless they're gay right?
When it’s an emergency it is okay. What if the girl was like 12? Her life is more important then something that is alive as a jellyfish. Pregnancy is much more risky and so is childbirth for young girls.
Trinitarians are not christians
Why?
Explain this:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:1
