This is one of my favorite Porch sermons yet!
Congratulations on the new baby! I love the question "How did all those animals get in Noah's Ark?" That's quite a question and I do believe all of it. The question I have when I look at my children is "How did all those people, who are bigger than me, start off out of me?" 2 are twins, so they lived in there at the same time (we know about no sleep and screaming in stereo). How did my son, who's dad died when he was a baby, end up having all the very same mannerisms, expressions, even outlook on life and things he says, as his dad? How can we believe there wasn't an engineer involved in this, that would design us to look and act like the two humans that maybe loved each other and created us? We could've just been put on the earth, without being inside our mothers first, without looking like our parents, without there having been any emotion involved in our creation.
I need God right now

i’ve been doubting for over a year now just kinda stuck in not fully knowing and not walking away. i’ve been afraid to truly seek with my whole heart for fear that He’s not there. i’m encouraged to pray these next 7 days and expect God to answer. If He doesn’t, i guess i will walk away from the best explanation there is even though i don’t want to. i just need to be all in it all out at this point.
Notice how he never actually answer the questions about doubt, rather just rambles about biblical characters being dissatisfied with their held belief, which is rather ironic notice how allegedly Jesus recognised the need to provide physical demonstrable evidence, especially to Thomas which I think clearly sums it up. Because an unsatisfactory answer to satisfactory question leads to agnosticism. But when a satisfactory answers leads to more unsatisfactory questions that's atheism!!!
