Six inches of snow...a dusting? In Maryland we call that a mini blizzard. Cancel all activities, close the schools, scout the stores for bread/milk/toilet paper. Not quite that bad, but almost.

Oh wow!!!! I’d have to hand out packs of condiments or something! 😂 I did actually do that years ago when I was teaching. I lived in the community where I taught so when kids came, some of them were my students. So for kicks and giggles, I put the candy in their bags and slipped in a pack of mayo, mustard, ketchup, or Arby Sauce. The next day their journal was “how was your Halloween- did you have any scary or weird experiences?” I enjoyed reading those entries! 😂 I told them in the last day of school that it was me.

I really loved your sock club. You guys really chose great items to go in with the yarn and the yarn was gorgeous. You guys are such great designers! I truly love everything you showed today. I have so much yarn that I really tried to look away. When I did look it was trouble. I didn't write anything down, so hopefully I won't remember any of the things I saw lol. I did order the magazine and some pins, and I REALLY want to check out SSK Yarners. I follow her on Instagram, so I won't forget her lol. Jodi, enjoy that new bed. I'm knitting the Turtle Dove as I watch this, using Katia Concept Cotton Merino. It's a little lighter in weight than the Woolfolk, aran rather than bulky, but it's the same chainette cotton/wool structure. And bonus, a lot more affordable!

We bought a sleep number bed. Best money we ever spent. Massagers and king with separate tops so we can each at our own position. I can not lay flat. I have GERD But could not sleep on the foam makes me too hot. Can’t handle foam pillows either. Mine has many positions. I’ve never slept so well in my entire life. Best investment ever.
I can not sleep flat slept unless with my throat is above my heart. Crazy but the bed is amazing and now I can sleep without those foam wedges that made me way too hot.
Love it it’s the best bed ever so I would recommend to anyone to buy it, so worth every dime.

Talking about Raven is funny. I middle child has two small dogs and when I moved into apartment she took in our old old retriever. They went on vacation, came home and here sat a big dog. They gave him food and water and her husband loaded into the truck..drove around folks if they were missing or recognize him. Nope! We live close to the state Park thought maybe lost from a camper or boater. He had recently been nurtured and he had stitches from a big place on his side. Off we go to the three vets in town..he's not chipped and none of them had nurtured him because they do a small color ink tatoo's there. Came back with him but have to find his family. He's so dang smart,my son in law can ask him anything and he understand. The 3 yr. granddaughter gave him a name..while eating a corn dog she ran to the bathroom and ”Corndog" became a member of the family. We thought as long as he didn't have a name he could go.

Ok, I am way late to enter the contest, but I do have book recommendations. The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon is soooo good. I read it way before it was on tv and, although the tv version is very good, the books are even better! The other love of my bookshelf is the Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfus! I think it is the kingslayer series, there are two so far and a third on the way... I can hardly wait. I hope you get a chance to try these. Enjoy!

My mom and I went to an auction and we always check out the old white sheets to use for bedskirts and duvet covers. Most are pristine as many people keep sheets for "good" and only use one set or two. My mom lifted one up, and there was a stain on it. My mother looked at me and with a straight face said....it's probably a c*m stain. We laughed so hard we were banned from the auction and he said if we ever turned up again we would be escorted off the property. First time EVER I peed my pants in public.

So So glad to see you girls! You made my Thursday and let me unwind after a horrendous work week. Jodi your sweater is so beautiful I can't wait to see it done. And Traci's socks are so beautiful too. You always have me dreaming and wishing for what I'm going to do next. Thanks you both of you I have ventured out and tried new yarns that I have thoroughly enjoyed. Take care until next time. Can't wait to see what you bring us next time !!!!!!!!!!!

Microchip your dogs. Even if the chip can't be read by the particular wand used, whoever finds the dog will know it is chipped can find a scanner that will read that chip.

I'm always impressed by how well Tracie remembers designer names/yarns/book titles. You have an amazing memory!

Oro Ferrovia socks 💛 golden railway in Italian ! The X pattern reminds me a lot of railroad ties on both sides of the faux cable

Jodi, I am so jealous! You are the only person I know who has fabulous hair, then puts on a hat, removes said hat and STILL has fabulous hair! 💕
