I sincerely feel that stringent criminal action against the families that are enjoying Pandits' homes, business, farms for conspiracy and abetting the mass murders and brutality. This will pave the way for our kashimiri brothers to welcome Pandits back into their own homes.

As a born muslim from Kashmir. I and many other Muslims support sanathana dharma which integrates all religions harmoniously. Many of us are not fearful of other religions. We are fearful of the Saudi Arabia version of “WASABI” Islam and the mullah’s. I hope u understand our circumstances. If India 🇮🇳 is really interested in eradicating Islamic terrorism then India needs to concentrate on the foreign trained mullah’s who keep us in mental slavery. I was not in India when it happened. No wind of the kashmiri genocide abroad nor in India when I returned. How come I did not read or hear anything about it from Dr. Swamy who seemed to have been in prominent position in '90s. Please post any reference/paper articles or books where he has mentioned this genocide and what he did to rehabilitate them.

Subramanya Swamiji is a legend and a wonderful gift for our country! We are proud of all his contributions and services on different aspects! However, I don't agree that Afghanis would be happy to see our army in their country. On the contrary, I believe it would only lead to destroying the goodwill they have towards India and worsen the situation. Just knowing the language is not enough. I believe all of them wanted to side with Taliban. The then Afghani government was not doing enough for them. So, if a foreign power comes in to legitimize the Afghani government they would not take kindly to it. We might have seen 10 times worse situation to what we saw in Sri Lanka.

Swamy illogically criticises BJP alliance with PDP but it's because of that alliance, BJP was able to understand how Kashmir govt works & it prevented NC, Congress, PDP alliance... BJP revoked its support to PDP Govt, imposed governor rule & abrogated article 370.
This happened because BJP fooled PDP, Shiv Sena completely forgot its ideology for Power, became puppet of congress but BJP made alliance with PDP without compromising agenda. So, he should not say Shiv Sena alliance with Congress & BJP alliance with PDP both r same.
This seems to be the heart of the matter. Until Bjp got into govt as Dy CM there would have been no way Bjp would have got a first hand view of the chicanery going on in kashmir over the 70 years.

Actually, Islamic terror attacks against Kashmiri Pandits started long before 1988. I distinctly remember Dr. Chaman Kaul telling me 1967 that his and several other Pandit families were forced to leave Kashmir due to Islamic terror. (At that time Dr. Kaul were post-graduate students at an American university, he in Physics and I in Economics).

but Swamy ji pointed out that after bangladesh liberated by india, terrorist activities where less, but release of 70terrorist restarted it again.. and let to bigger, with sequence of inaction by GOI, as I understand.

Jagmohan had two tenures. The first (84-89) was productive and progressive during the years of peace and calm. 80 to 89. He was an able administrator and liked by the Kashmiris.
The second tenure is quite the opposite.
The Russians left Afghanistan in Feb 89. This changed Pak focus back to Kashmir. 1971 Indo-Pak war and prisoner effect had worn out by 79 when the Russian occupation of Afghanistan commenced.
J&K has a history of rigged elections (which has now more than ever plagued the rest of the country)! Yet the confidence in the system made many militants lay down arms.
The election of 87 put JKLF back to militancy when their candidates won votes but NC candidates were declared winners.
J&k has has several massacres. In particular mention of Gawakadal and Handwara is necessary to understand the reprisals against security forces and KPs.
I wish Dr Swamy hadn't skirted the key issues on why an exodus took place. The voilence as a cause is known. The effect was a mass migration. Why did Dr Jagmohan and the state govt organise this migration, rather than using the security forces to maintain law and order.
Till Jan 90 the militants fought the security forces and Kashmiris of all hues were victims of collateral damage.
What changed in Jan 90 that they had to leave despite being targetted?
Sir, your saying ' we indians have blinkered vision' is true. The context of this is that we were ruled for decades by the Britishers who taught us to ne good obedient clerks. It will take some more of rallying around each other as Indians for us to change our mindset.

FACT & THE #KashmirFiles - By Namrita and François Gautier
As a young journalist, I covered the Kashmir separatist movement approximately from 1989 to 2002. This opened my eyes like nothing else would. In those days, the entire Western correspondents' corps would periodically descend to Srinagar from Delhi to cover the events in Kashmir. At some point, because of the strife, there was only one hotel open in Srinagar, the Adhoos on the Jhelum Bund. The foremost voice in those days was that of Mark Tully, the bureau chief of the BBC News عربي, and an internationally recognised journalist. The Indian National Congress government was then accusing #Pakistan of funding, arming, financing, and training inside Pakistani Kashmir, the Indian Muslim militants (JKLF in those days), and then sending them back across the LOC border to create havoc. Mark Tully’s contention was that it was not true. And in this, he was followed not only by the entire Western correspondent group, but also by most of the Indian newspapers and magazines, stringers, and correspondents in Kashmir (like India Today).
I was the lone voice that felt it made sense, and wrote so not only in the French and Swiss papers (Le Figaro) I was working for, but also in articles in the Hindustan Times, Indian Express and Bombay’s tabloid Blitz. The ethnic cleansing of the Kashmiri Hindus (the term ‘Pandit’ is misleading) shocked me beyond belief: I saw for the first time that a people in the name of their exclusive and intolerant religion, could kill, rape, maim, and chase out another people from a different religion, who had lived side by side with them for generations. Till today, the plight of the Kashmiri Hindus hounds me.
In 2004, I received in the Parliament of India, at the hands of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee (photo) the Nachiketa Award for Excellence in Journalism. With it came a cheque of 50,000 rupees and I decided to use the money to curate for the first time an exhibition on the plight of the Kashmiri Hindus www.factmuseum.com/kashmiri-pundits/). This exhibition was opened in Habitat Centre, New Delhi, by Srisri , L K Advani, and was visited by numerous leaders of that time, including Murli Manohar Joshi, Dr Karan Singh, and many others. We then travelled India with this exhibition: Bombay, Calcutta, Bangalore, and Chennai. Then, thanks to the help of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar we showed it in many parliaments around the world: Scotland, England, Germany, Poland, Israel, and others, and in 2011 in Capitol Hill, Washington, which led to a US Congress resolution, taking notice of the plight of the Kashmiri Pandits. This was the first time that the ethnic cleansing of the Kashmiri Hindus was brought into the public domain, much before the film #KashmirFiles
I am also proud to say that shortly thereafter, my wife and I put up an exhibition - the first one ever - on the Hindu holocaust www.factmuseum.com/hindu-genocide-over-the-years/ from the Hindu Kush, where 500,000 Hindus died, while being taken as slaves to Afghanistan, to Mumbai 2011. This exhibition is now permanently housed at the FACT Museum (the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum of Indian History, Pune), which Namrita and I started in 2012 on 5 acres of land donated by @srisri. It was not enough for us to have only the Hindu holocaust exhibition and the Kashmiri Hindus Habitat Centre replica, we decided also to show - as they were - the tyrants who were instrumental in that genocide, We have for instance, a unique exhibition on the Goa Inquisition (www.factmuseum.com/the-portuguese-and-the-goan-inquisition/) another one on Aurangzeb based on his own records, and one on Tipu Sultan (www.factmuseum.com/tippu-sultan/) has been unnecessarily and unjustly glorified.
Some of these exhibitions brought trouble; the one on Aurangzeb www.factmuseum.com/aurangzeb-as-he-was-according-to-mughal-records/ for instance, which we also opened in the Habitat Centre in Delhi, was closed down by the police in Chennai and seized for 6 months after the descendant of the Nawab Arcot who came to see it and complained to his friend Stalin, now Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, that it was offensive. He was particularly angry at the depiction of the razing of the Somnath Temple, a painting which was based on an edict (firman) of Aurangzeb, which he had approved and stamped with the Emperor’s seal. @narendramodi, who was then the Chief Minister of Gujarat heard about it in an article published by The Hindu, and called me to Ahmedabad. He subsequently flew to Bombay in 2016 to open our Shivaji Maharaj exhibition 'www.factmuseum.com/chhatrapati-shivaji-maharaj-a-hero-for-modern-india/ with Sri Sri.

When you defeat an enemy complacency mustn't set in. The enemy may be defeat and bruised only to recuperate and attack again. We got Bangladesh free but became slack. Pakistan uses Kashmir to induct pain till this day. We may try to be reasonable but its all about vengeance by Pakistan.

Subramian Swamy is an #intellectual in thought but a #dhimmi physically and a #failure politically. He was the Minister for Law & Justice in Govt of India from Nov 1990 to June 1991, but did not do anything to set up a Commission of Inquiry or even to introduce a Bill to safeguard properties of Kashmiri Pandits.

It feels sad to see Dr. Swamy's opinion (that I admired and defended strongly once upon a time) going from bad to worse. His idea of sending soldiers to Afghanistan during the American invasion is so wrong - putting the lives of our Indian soldiers in danger, for Americans who have been known to break their promises, especially in Afghanistan. The world saw how they ran away without even giving due notice to NATO and the Aussie army. What if there was the Indian army being abandoned in the same way. And then to mock India's humanitarian efforts in Afghanistan? Seriously?
In the issue of Kashmir during 88-92, he was simply trying to whitewash his own position as a minister, while putting the blame on others. Holier than thou!!
